Here's my own solution...

The LCM of x, 2 and x in the equation:
1/X +1/2 = 3/X is 2X.

Multiply through by 2x, i.e

1/X x 2X + 1/2 x 2X = 3/X x 2X

Here a couple of things happen...
1. The X in 2X cancels out X in 1/X leaving you with 1 x 2 = 2.

2. The 2 in 2X cancels out 2 in 1/2 leaving you with 1 x X = X.

3. The X in 2X cancels out X in 3/X leaving you with 3 x 2 = 6.

So we now have 2 + X = 6.

After collecting like terms, we have
X = 6 - 2
Therefore, X = 4.

Many places there. But you can go through these two passages. The same story but different names:

Try to read both stories to the end. They are the same stories, but Chronicle mentioned the exact name of that 'lord' spoken about in the book of Samuel.
