aj8: Important thing is that you got the drift. What if price falls first to say half the current and boom, earnings improves to double or quadruples? Gotten it? I rest my case .
Hi awesomeJ. Greetings from Aj8 Yes. My point is you do not need to buy at 100x on the basis of potential improvement in PE. You can always wait for the improvement to materialize. 100x is pure speculation, but if the person has their convictions, why not? I still bought the stock yesterday at 111x, but i only just flipped it for profit. |
Investment › Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by awesomeJ(m): 10:46am On Jan 28 |
aj8:
If PE is today 100 and earnings doubles, it will half, and what if it quadruples… ? As new data comes in the market will adjust . NCR will too but probably not below 21.93 x 4 or 5 = Range of 87.72-109.65 until new data or information emerge. Sell off will bring it down to an equilibrium. If earnings double, PE only halves if price stays constant, at which point I lose nothing by waiting to buy at that improved multiple. If the price goes up with the earnings, the PE yet stays at unrealistic levels. |

Heishere: I spoke solely to what you wrote that you are projecting Naira to be at N1300 this week? I am saying that Naira got to 1,401 solely because dollar became weaker when compared with other currencies hence the Naira appreciation today is artificial and might not get to N1300 as no fundamentals is backing it. Maybe it's the "misleading" word that got you worked up but if somebody read your optimistic post without knowing the underlying factor would think we are heading to the right direction when we are not. I just have an itchy, moral obligation to correct blind sycophants of current government. No vex if you are not one of them. You're the only one who is blind and lacks comprehension here if you interprete 13xx to mean 1300. |

nosa2: Lets see how easy it will be to get out of this stock now. It's still riding the hype from last year Offers started building today though. Anyone who trades this ticker blindly should just pay the correct school fees with it na, it's normal market experience. |
Investment › Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by awesomeJ(m): 8:55pm On Jan 27 |
Heishere: This is misleading. Dollar is depreciating and not that Naira is appreciating. Your government didn't do anything to make it appreciate so it is artificial at the moment. Do you have to quote in ignorance. Where in my post did I say dollar isn't depreciating. The currency closed at 1401, if you have a different value why not share instead of rushing to quote me with things I didn't speak on. Someone says NGX gained 0.12% today, you're quoting him to say "Kano state governor has defected to APC" why not speak solely to what I wrote, and save the garbage for another post where it might make sense? |

Streetinvestor2: Abeg oh.i didn't call names.i never get strength for fight this yr.Old age is creeping into life Hello @street investor, the people who have been silent have mostly been silent since January, even before the sideways started. Folks like Megawealth, Mankind2024, ositadima etc Except of course you were referring to me Anyways, I posted here last Friday, and since then, i haven't seen any need for a comment. We don't always have to share our opinions on every matter About things I share, the first time, you trade N30m per day, it's exciting, so you can announce, but once it becomes something regular, no need to announce again na. Anyways, I crossed N400m in volume today, and we still have 3 trading days. Now that's a new, and it's exciting. I'm now very certain my Q1 will exceed N1bn.Will share when market closes. |

HesInMe: There is none righteous, no, not one... Better grow up, instead of dwelling in sin cos you cannot interprete scriptures correctly. The scriptures you're quoting out of context speaks to the fact that you cannot attain righteouness on your own. If you then wrongly interprete it to mean you cannot attain righteousness at all, you might be on a fast lane to hell. You're meant to be righteous, that's the only acceptable standard. You should live in holiness, and then strive to manifest the scripture that says if you're a son of God, you cannot sin because of God's seed in you. All this fake humility of saying you're not righteous are mere religious stance that might only end up leading you to death. Anyways, this thread isn't for Bible study, but your context had to be corrected. |

Stockhunter: Abeg our OG's, has any company been listed by way of introduction before just like Zichis. Cos this pattern no work. They can decide to be releasing 100k units daily until the price hit 20 naira. Na to go float company and be ready to list. It was like this too with MTNN in 2019. One guy (or man) here was seriously suggesting we sued MTNN and the then NSE when he was frustrated that he couldn't buy. Later , late Chief Dozie and a few others decided to release more shares to the market. At this point though, N1bn is almost like a give away valuation for any company on the NGX, especially in sectors enjoying great sentiments like the Agric sector is. If there are individuals here with portfolio worth N5bn, isn't N1bn sort of cheap for an entire company? |

Streetinvestor2: Na last Yr they create wallet for payment. I have MMF with them.It was last Yr I got notification to that wallet and easy way to fund the account after thr app update It was a process before oh Last year and this year = years. The point is they have maybe 10 times more customers doing deposits and withdrawals than Morgan, they're more popular, yet they chose to innovate robustly rather than build a mediocre system and start fearing guy men |

Guy men too full street When you build a system that's robust enough, you won't have to worry about guy men StanbicIBTC mutual funds have been using wallet for years now, and they have a much larger customer base. |

Streetinvestor2: Don't mind people and unnecessary complain. They won't read information when it is sent to them.Morgan sent this notification to clients last Yr.You pay into the bank account and put the required details on your narration and your trading account is updated when payment is confirmed People just like to send emails...lol The problem is that the confirmation sometimes takes forever even when you do everything right. The process should no longer need manual confirmation. It will help their staff, and the customers too. |
Investment › Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by awesomeJ(m): 6:10pm On Jan 21 |
Erniemax101: Sometimes I read some comments and honestly wonder if we are using the same broker. The funding process is very simple: transfer to their account and use your in-house account number as the narration. Once payment is confirmed, your trading account is credited. There is no need to send emails after every deposit. I make payments by 7:00 a.m. and my account is usually credited before 10:00 a.m. the same day. Please follow the proper procedure and help reduce their operational workload. You do not think that them automating the process would do even more at reducing their workload? I followed the same said process you described this past Monday. Depositing at 8:17 , but my account wasn't credited until I sent a second email around 2pm. I eventually couldn't trade with the money. Whereas on Quidax, I transfer from my bank and it takes about 10 seconds for my wallet to be credited. Which do you think is a better experience? Waiting for 10 seconds or waiting for over 5 hours? The former yet requiring no work from any staff. The poster's point is valid, Morgan should innovate, it's not that hard. |

Bovis: Happy 2026 All, may our loot be exponentially greater than last year 🙏
Now, I sent a funds Withdrawal request to Morgan Capital about two weeks ago, but it has not yet been processed. I find this delay unusual and somewhat concerning, as it raises questions about whether there may be deeper issues within the organisation
I would therefore like to ask whether this is a one off experience or if anyone else has encountered, or is currently experiencing similar delays before I would take any further action My last withdrawal request to them was last Wednesday 14th. It was processed that same day. Did you follow up with a phone call? sometimes tha is necessary given how many retail investors operate accounts with them. I have suggested they use virtual bank accounts to automate deposits and withdrawal, until they implement something of suc, you might need to always follow up with phone calls. |
