It won't even it's not all the time they ask for POF it depends on the Officer at the POE but it won't affect it just print one month and hold it in case you will be fine

How many months is the money meant to have stayed in my account before showing..

When I applied I had little above 4m but as time went on, I was using the money and replacing but before go it would be exactly 4m.

Please will this affect as the BS will show how the money has been in use over the time my application was going on.

It won't dear they know you have to do some preparations, pay some fees and all that so it's fine then you can also hold your school's receipt and other receipt of like your accommodation if you have done it already then one month Statement is fine it will still show the closing balance

You get the both of them in your GCKEY. The LOI will be titled Correspondence Letter and you will get an email that you have something in your account but the counterfoil you won't get update in your email it will be updated in your GCKEY

I got MER on the 25th Febuary but I have an upfront medical I did for my precious application dated September 10th, 2020.

1. Can I still submit that result?

Medical results is for one year so if you still have the E- Medical sheet they gave you at the clinic then upload it in the column if they opened it to upload but if not maybe you can send it through webforms and mails
And you can also decide to do a fresh one if you want

Congrats bro, timeline for Lagos and Abuja are approximately 1month and 10days respectively. So how much time you have left to travel should guide your decision. Also bear in mind there's transmission fee to be paid should you decide to send to Abuja.

I had applied for visiting visa in 2012 and was rejected so there was no need to pay for biometrics.

Now today, feb 36, they just sent me a message that I should pay for Biometrics. Biko how do I handle this or shld I go ahead and pay.

I tot biometrics lasts for 10years?

You need to do Biometrics since you didn't do it then in 2012 if you don't do it they might not touch your application notwithstanding that they sent message that your background check is on those messages are normal once you submit Applications so you need to do your biometrics if you did not do it in 2012

Please I sent my passport to VFS Abuja on 23rd, it was received on 24th and it is yet to be sent to IRCC.

I have not received any message from them with regards to sending it to IRCC, should I be worried?

If you haven't received a message that it has been sent to IRCC for processing then maybe they did a mistake in your email address it's mandatory for them to send mails on the movement of your passport not to worry then your passport is under processing cuz I have someone too she didn't receive mails cuz they made a mistake on her email address but her Passport has been processed so when she called the VFS they explained that they did a mistake in her email address instead of o they were putting a somewhere so don't fret it's been processed you can reach out to YTEEM here to give the VFS Customer Service to call to clarify with them.
In btw did you fill in your details like email address on the consent form

my question is, can i process my visa with a diploma program as i graduated with a 2.1 or should i wait for others.

You graduated with a 2.1 you are meant to be going for Masters which shows an academic progression which is a strong factor the VO looks at one can easily and swiftly be denied if there's no academic progression. Diploma is lower than your previous education unless you have a very very very very convincing reason as to why you are going for that but still it's not advisable to be on a safer side go for your Masters jeje there are plenty schools you can research on and with your 2.1 you can also apply for scholarships so research research deepen your research you will surely see!!!!.

It will drop bro if it's not paper application you did you will get your PPR by his grace this thing varies some get theirs immediately, some 2-7days after BVL so you have nothing to be worried about!!!

Just like Nwanyiokpa said; You need an affidavit of support. That's the only hinderance and also, is the account with 9.9 million a savings or business account?


The VO is also not convinced that you would adhere to the rules of a temporary resident so to tackle this, you can make an affidavit of good behavior stating that you will adhere to all the rules during your stay.

@Olaa in addition to that work also to prove your home ties have a strong convincing point on home ties hence the reason for the "temporary resident" quoted above maybe your home ties isn't solid enough maybe your Employment Documents and other Employment proofs to show you will be coming back

You know yours was paper application which you won't get PPR notification and because your passport wasn't SUBMITTED with your Application you were actually waiting if they will send PPR until you sent mails and webforms before you were notified by Lagos visa office to send your passport

lagos.immigration@international.gc.ca, abuja@international.gc.ca,lagos@international.gc.ca then send to Kenya Email addresses and webforms you can also say your BVL dropped on 19th but yet to get an update after then.

So this is my third application I was denied twice initially which really surprised me due to my extensive travel history etc.

I reapplied on the 23rd on January honestly due to pressure from my parents cause I had totally given up on the whole Canada thing however in exactly a month I got an update to proceed for medical my questions are
1. If I pass the medical does it make it sure that I will get the visa ?
2. The next available date for medical in Lagos is over a month a way is there any advice on how to get an earlier date.

Try check Q-Life and IOM the one with a closer date book with clinic.

Awys I did paper but when I was submitting was March the first lockdown so they returned our passports back because they said everyone should return back to their country and all of that so since then it’s been with me

Then raise a webform to that cuz you won't get PPR notification cuz it's paper application a lady here too is the same scenario she didn't submit her Passport with her application same March during Covid-19 it was series of webforms and mails she sent then the Lagos visa office replied her mail that she should send her Passport for stamping I don't think you will get a notification of PPR since it's paper so send mails and webforms they would reply if you should send your passport for stamping

Oh okay was it paper application or online you did if it's paper application you won't get PPR your passport will be returned to you stamped and your portal will be updated accordingly to approved

Your PPR will land not to worry mine too BVL dropped on the 2nd, PPR on the 6th that's 4days after it's normal and it varies so no fear bro!!!

Try to send it through Webform and mails you need to let them know that your program has CO-OP cuz they will need to issue a work permit to that effect so send it through webform and email if you have already submitted with a LOE that maybe it was an oversight and attach it

You cannot add documents after you submitted your Application you can only send it through WEBFORMS and EMAIL ADDRESSES to Nairobi-Kenya if that's where your file it which I believe it should be cuz thats where they process Applications for Study permit and TRV's for African countries

You can Google GCMS notes online there are different 3rd parties organization that can help you order it or if you have a PR or Citizen over there they can help you order it or check gcms online dort com and follow the instructions to order it it's like $13
Then I think there are still schools that accepts 2.2 for Masters you just need to do your research on that Masters will show an academic progression otherwise go for PGD/PGC that would show an Academic progression better than a Graduate certificate
