So, something happened earlier this week.
Sowore, the presidential hopeful and publisher of Sahara Reporters visited my station, Nigeria Info Abuja.

While he was waiting in the green room , one of my senior colleagues, a man who brought me into the entertainment industry and a very popular Compere whom I regard as my boss walked into the room and greeted Sowore . Then the former responded with "yes, how are you".

Obviously, this boss of mine is way older than Sowere and popular too, so he felt that was disrespectful. He came into the studio where I was, blowing red hot, calling the guy names, saying he lacks respect and so on.

After ranting for almost 5minutes, he realized he was going too far(I don't know what made him pause) then I softly told him that I personally see nothing wrong with Sowore asking how he was doing! I tried explaining that the guy has so many things going on in his head and may not really have the time to filter ages before deciding who to ask the question or not.

At this point, he turned to me and said I was disrespectful, boastful and egocentric. Being surprised at the way he took the matter, I replied by telling him that "it is only people with low self-esteem that consider such as disrespectful". I told him that Sowore does not even know he (my boss) was angry at him, that it is those who see "how are you" as an issue that really have issues.

Omor, till now, him dey malice me.
Say I defend my type.

I will end up apologizing to him though, irrespective of who is wrong or right. He's way older, richer and popular than I am. And he's my boss. Lol.
