Can you also say you were so reserved that you didn't help spoil my sisters who usually go to help Kopa wash plate?

Business / The Different Nigerian Banks And Their Dramas by Axelrod(m): 11:28pm On Jun 07, 2017
At one point in time, each and everyone of us has entered a banking hall in Nigeria and have seen the various dramas in such banks. Here, we compiled those dramas peculiar to each bank in Nigeria, Enjoy:

UBA: That bank looks like a shrine.. Everywhere is just painted Red! And the bank is very stingy, they will never employ workers. It’s only UBA you will enter & see empty cashier seats… They will be up to like 2 employed but there will be only 1 Cashier who ends up delaying customers.

GTB:
This bank has the highest number of customers! The only bank that looks like aba ariaria market. U queue like mofedaku. The only difference is that you see people with suits and pen, they have their wahala but I like them shaa

Skye Bank:
Hian! This bank will just be looking like somebody’s bathroom. Very small bank, dem go jampack people like sardines! Their workers no dey even wear suit again probably because of heat… Everybody dey enter the bank with hand fan

Diamond Bank:
Only their Lemon Green Colour can make you open 18 accounts with them even if nothing is inside. That is the only thing good about them. They have few branches in cities, their banking hall is like onitsha main market place. But their transfer protocol be like American constitution, simple to transfer with ATM, u go first go sign Non disclosure agreement.

Zenith bank:
This one ehn…? The only thing dem know how to do best is to decorate their walls with mirrors. You will just stay at the front and be seeing someone behind you? Sometimes if you enter the bank, you will be confused, you won’t even know which road to follow because everybody is appearing two two for the mirror. I wonder if their CEO is a Crystal palace fan. Just carry crystal glass full everywhere!

Sterling Bank
Where do I start from, hmmm this bank looks like eatery, atimes I used to mistake it for where they are selling ice creams, ices and sharwama

Union Bank:
Chai! This bank ehn? I cannot fit yab dem because dem old pass my grandpapa!?
Sometimes, I begin to think maybe the children of Israelites have accounts with Union bank… Their security men sef na old old old papas dem be…. You go enter bank to pay na people with walking stick u go dey see ..

FCMB
They are just beautiful women with good attitudes only that all your incomes will just be going for aso ebi and ice cream

FIDELITY
That one na bank for retired teacher, the only issue in customer care na about pension, u reach cashier point, one old papa will be withdrawing #45,675, #5 naira will always appear. I wonder if no be that bank dey hold all #5 CBN prints. Infact, they are the only bank whose ATM has pension button.

FIRST BANK.
Ah ah ah, this bank can annoy somebody, their first wahala na their door, they will just be screening u like say na jamb office. If you enter nko, queue be like Aba road hold up for port Harcourt, Infact the most annoying tin is some of their workers behaviour, somebody will just be counting #7,000 with machine and #200,000 with ordinary hand. They can screen #1000 like keke people but the good thing about them is their ATM galleries. For that one them try.

Wema Bank
that one na fishermen and panel beaters dey go there recently.

UNITY BANK:
Make them just return their name back to BANK OF THE NORTH. Because how person go wan enter bank e go come be like say u dey enter Zaria city gate. , everywhere they smell Turare (perfume) even the cashiers speak Hausa with u because u wear Agbada.

Keystone Bank.
This bank looks like they are always on strike. The banking hall looks like they only attend to one customer at a time.
Heritage Bank:
that one looks like PDP Secretariat after 2015 election. Even their flag is worn out

Ecobank.
That one looks like NaijaBet office. Its always jam packed on Fridays only. With lots of branches and many people that speaks many African languages especially in Lagos branches.
Sometime I suspect that bank has something to do with Chelsea FC

Access bank:
Na shakara dey worry them. Their account opening process be like application for Canadian visa.

Stanbic IBTC.
The bank suppose to relocate back to south Africa. Everybody dey speak through their nose seff.

CBN...
I wont say it....You want EFCC to investigate me abii?

Politics / The Friendship And Betrayal Of Amaechi, Wike, Abe And Peterside! by Axelrod(m): 10:31pm On Jun 06, 2017
I would like to tell a Story of four people who became very Close Friends by Circumstances. I used to call them the "MOVING TRAIN" till It became Imperative that They had to seperate because in Politics, There are no Permanent friend or Permanent Enemies..ONLY PERMANENT INTEREST

I wouldn't want to bore you with stories How they met and How they helped each other to great heights but let's put the story aside and face reality

They are

1. Rotimi Chibuike Amaechi
2. Nyesom Ezenwo Wike
3. Magnus Abe
4. Dakuku Adol Peterside

Let's keep politics aside and Face Reality..These four people Alongside a few others came with the political Ideology and slogan then "I BELIEVE" in 2007. By The Hand of God and Their collective effort(Whether One of them contributed 0.1%, they all contributed one way or the other), On 27th October 2007, Rotimi Chibuike Amaechi emerged The Governor of Rivers State and These were the only friends He could count on.

THEIR BOND OF TRUST AND LOVE WAS EARNED. Let me give you a run down of what they had achieved in Politics before they merged to form what I called "THE MOVING TRAIN" in 2007..

1. Amaechi became the Youngest speaker of The Rivers State House of Assembly at 33 in 1999 to 2007

2. Nyesom Wike Became The Chairman of Obio Akpor Local Government Council at 32 in Year 2000 to 2007( 2nd richest LGA in Nigeria with allocation nd IGR bigger than some states)

3. Magnus Abe became a Member of The Rivers State House of Assembly Representing The People of Gokana Constituency at 34. He Emerged Minority leader given to the fact that He belonged to the Opposition party then- ANPP. In 2003, He defected to the PDP and He was appointed commissioner of Information by the Dr.Peter Odili led adminstration.

4. Dakuku Peterside became The Chairman of Opobo/Nkoro Local Government at 31 in 2002 and Then Later S.A to the Rivers State Governor on Works at 32 in 2003-2005. In 2005-2007, He became The Executive Director of Development and Leadership Institute.

In 2007, Amaechi became The Executive Governor of Rivers State and This His "Cartel Men" took the stage in the Grand stance

- Nyesom Wike Became His Chief of Staff
- Magnus Abe Became The Secretary to State Government
- Dakuku Peterside Became The commissioner of works

There Has Never been a Squad like this since the creation of Rivers State till Date. They were so Powerful that Everyone even had advised Governor Amaechi to push them to Abuja because Rivers State could no longer Contain them. The Power was too much yet They Blossomed.

In 2011, There was no opposition in Rivers State except Some Adults playing in the sand

-Amaechi Returned as Governor for a Second Term
-Nyesom Wike became Minister for state for Education
- Magnus Abe Became A Senator
- Dakuku became the Member House of Representatives

In 2015, The Center could No Longer Hold but Today

- Amaechi is The Minister of Transportation
- Nyesom Wike is The Executive Governor of Rivers State
- Magnus Abe is Back to the Senate
- Dakuku is the DG of the Big Cash Cow "NIMASA" after running as The Gubernatorial Candidate of the APC in 2015

WITHIN THE LAST 10 YEARS, THESE FOUR FRIENDS HAVE BEEN IN CHARGE OF RIVERS STATE. They might still be in Charge for at Least The Next 6 Years

AMAECHI is the Leader of APC in Rivers State

Wike is the Leader of PDP in Rivers State

From a Little Beginning, They bonded and later became The Strong Men of NOT JUST RIVERS POLITICS BUT Nigeria Politics

Today, they all seem to be operating individually, even at that, they remain the strongest forces in Rivers State.
Politics / Re: Osinbajo Off To Italy For G7 Meeting by Axelrod(m): 10:57am On May 27, 2017
But is this really necessary? I mean, is the meeting more important than the safety of Democracy in Nigeria?
I ask this question, reflecting on the incident of 1985, Where Buhari was overthrown by IBB. Remember, he had left the country amid troubles, uncertainty and recession, to attend to a thing not important to the nation.

Now, Buhari is out of the country, his son is also out now, amid rumours of a coup.
Nigeria's and Nigerians' needs should be placed as maximum priorities!

What if there is a delay on the way?
What if there is a technical hitch in the plane and he's forced to stay the night?
Can we trust Saraki (and Dino Melaye) to leave this country in his hands?

I hail some of our decisions in this country!!

Something fishy is happening that the masses are unaware!
First of all, President Buhari failed to attend three consecutive Federal Executive Council meetings.
During same time, he didn't show up at the Mosque for the usual Jumat prayers on corresponding Fridays.

As much as that is excusable, he never appeared for the Workers' Day celebration which was held just behind his office, instead, he sent a representative who is the Minister of Labour and should have represented himself.

We still understood that he was still working from home as Daddy Lai Mohammed had told us.

Then two days to his Medical Adventure to London, he was bundled to come and smile for the Cameras at the Mosque, with people standing all around him to pick him up, in case he fell.

Two days later, he was whisked to London, knowing it was almost time for Democracy Day and Nigerians won't take any excuse if the President was in the country, yet did not show up.

Now, there are testing the waters, to see Nigerians reactions.

Don't be surprised, Buhari's campaigns will be run in his absence, after all, Garba Shehu is so confident he will win again.

Hope we are not in Zimbabwe where the masses said that, even if Mugabe's obituary posters were brought for campaigns, he would win!

best revenge is to keep living the good life, living in a way totally different from what they describe, ignore the devil nonsense because even they themselves and them don't believe you're a devil and they're just using it to some sort of moral high ground as compared to you, that they're somehow better than you cuz they believe in "Jesus", they can rape a 4 year old boy and that sin can be "washed away" by mumbling some words to their imaginary friend
That was spot on. Thanks for the advice.

Religion / Fellow Freethinkers, How Do You Handle Being Called A Devil? by Axelrod(m): 10:02am On May 14, 2017
In many occasions, I've been addressed ''the devil'' just because I choose not to give in to religious fanaticism and fantasies.

I have lost a lot of friends, especially the female ones just because I refuse to compromise my stance as an Atheist.

I hear lots of insulting words from Christians who themselves are not even worthy of standing before a god, if there was one.

Funny thing is, most these people preaching to me do virtually everything I do, even worse.

So, my fellow Freethinkers and Atheist, how do you handle being called the devil?
