Pls i am not in support of flamboyancy particular during this financial struggles the country is in. However, from the above news, the Nigerian Navy proposed the budget which if appropriate protocols were to be followed, would be scrutinized and eliminated from by the national assembly and the senate.

Typical of the Nigerian political rhetorics... no passion, no ideology......just guided and motivated by "make i chop"..

Hon Stephen Ucheonye from Anambra state is representing Abia people in the Abia state house of assembly. You people always appear more stupid that usual when you want to spread misinformation and lies.

Actually you are the one sounding foolish. My main point here is for you guys to stop being hypocritical particularly online. Tribalism and nepotism though not good is practised in every region and by every tribe in the country which is facilitated by a variety of factors. You always calling the yorubas out as if it's not more prevalent among your tribe is what I'm trying to address.

The illogical approach Nigerians do use to approach national issues is baffling!

This man has never supported Tinubu just like the picture showed....

He is a preacher of facts and logic

He said he was once a believer of the hypothesis that "Tinubu didn't attend or graduated from CSU"

To confirm this hypothesis, he went to the school itself and spent a total of US$4k in doing so...

He found out that Tinubu did graduated from the school

When this issue became a national issue, he came forward to state his findings....

is there an offence in that? so he shouldn't say his findings because he is a PDP member?
what do y'all really want? to hear that Tinubu didn't attend CSU?

You failed to believe him but always believe whatever shit Rufai Oseni says without findings and facts to back them up?

Y'all are just funny!

suhartoo:
According to what was revealed by the school through the deposition of the Registrar, It is a replacement copy that can be issued by a third party. He never mentioned the school's authorized third party that must have issued the one submitted to INEC. Besides, the Registrar also said the original copy issued by the school was never picked by Tinubu and is still in his file in school. So which one did you claim got burnt before a replacement copy was issued? Does the third party also have the approval of the school to forge school signature?

Pls go through the deposition very well. The registerer never said Tinubu refused to come for his certificate or neither does a certificate belonging to a Bola Ahmed Tinubu in their custody....pls get ur facts right

I was following your write up untill you spoil the whole thing by saying atiku is finished in Nigeria. So if he didn't become president he is finished? He has become a governor? A vice president and he many investment...In all ramifications he is a success.

My point is its a point of no return between Atiku and Tinubu........if Tinubu can successfully scale through this phase of his political career, believe me, he is going to get back at Atiku which will be more detrimental to Atiku's influences and finance...... Baba go use power run Atiku for ground oooo, particularly financially by targeting his gold mines here in Nigeria....
Politics / Re: Tinubu Certificate Scandal: Constitutional Implications By Aisha Mohammed Agashi by aybabz101: 9:04pm On Oct 07, 2023
One of the major problems we have in this country is that of our weak institutions....this should have been verified prior to the conduct of the polls by our security agencies.....

Also, we need no stick to the facts here and not mere emotions......

Tinubu did attend CSU.
Tinubu sworn under oath that his certificates including his A levels were destroyed in a fire incidence.
CSU do not issue certificates twice to students
A lost certificate can be replaced by a third party vendor

The next step is for Atiku to verify if the submitted certificate was actually issued to Tinubu by a third party vendor......

To me, Atiku should ditch the case of certificate forgery because following the these facts, he has no case.

But the major achilles heel in this Tinubu saga is how he got admitted to CSU in the first place

He used A levels to gain admission into CSU and these A levels has descripancies

Atiku should investigate these demographic discrepancies in the A levels .....

and if it shows that the A levels belong to another person, his admission into CSU can be nullified and his certificate rescinded......

Then, Tinubu would have failed to meet the minimum requirement of WASC for the position of Nigerian president which will invalidate his presidency.....

But i believe if Tinubu can be triumphant in this case.....Atiku is finished in Nigeria

I cant totally disagree with u, but from my limited experience, they raise the best children....

All my guys, classmates and close associates raised with steel hands are appreciating it today....most of them are out of the country with cool professional careers and the ones in Nigeria are doing very well in their various fields...though some are still hustling, but they are well behaved and understands that there are consequences for actions and inactions.....

the ones raised with free hands are the ones selling their papa lands today!.... not making this up bro...

I further observed that most of them are from parents who are teachers and educators generally......they were very strict with us, ensure that we study hard and try to make us chose professional career path.....

A lot of us are just importing some fractured parenting styles from the west and that is why their society is crumbling in terms of morals today...

To me, they all have no case against Tinubu.....

No one was able to prove amongst them that they have a higher number of votes than Tinubu

Their main arguement is on technicalities and legal interpretation i.e the Abuja 25% issue

The primary objective of both Obi and Atiku is to disqualify the candidature of Tinubu base on academic discrepancies and his supposed crime of forfeiture.

Putting all these together, I think both Obi and Atiku's case will be thrown out

though it seems we are stagnant at the moment, i believe we are progressing.....our polity is improving and people are increasingly interested in who is leading us.....what remains is this local government autonomy to wrestle power away from these greedy governors.....

Politics / Complexities Of Social Media Dynamics In Nigeria: Tinubu And CSU Saga. by aybabz101: 6:40am On Aug 29, 2023
In recent times, Nigeria has witnessed a surge in what can only be described as narcissistic behaviors exhibited by a handful of individuals. Undoubtedly, the hunger for change runs deep, which necessitates the dismantling of existing norms to pave the way for new beginnings. Yet, the strategies adopted by some segments of our society to usher in this change have taken on a rather questionable and less-than-impressive tone.

The emergence of social media as an influential force cannot be underestimated. Across the globe, platforms like Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram have significantly molded political landscapes, redefining the way people engage with power. Remember the Arab Spring? Social media platforms played a pivotal role in propelling this movement to its full potential. And let's not forget the resounding impact of the Black Lives Matter movement, which harnessed the power of social media to spread awareness and drive change. Similarly, social media has been a game-changer in other realms too. It catalyzed the global spread of the MeToo movement, unearthing hidden stories of abuse and exploitation. Not to mention its role in dethroning corrupt figures who manipulated their positions for personal gain, like the recent case of Mr. Luis Rubiales of Spain Football Federation.

However, when it comes to Nigeria, there's a twist in the tale. Take, for instance, the recent "cook-a-thon marathon" led by Hilda. What began as a fun initiative nearly spiraled into chaos as Nigerians flooded social media accounts, subjecting the former record holder, Lata Tondon, to a barrage of unwarranted comments. The fallout was evident as Ms. Tondon took the drastic step of disabling her comment sections. Equally concerning is the targeting of celebrities and influential figures who find themselves at the receiving end of harassment due to their political leanings. One wonders, in the midst of such heated exchanges, whether we are genuinely promoting the ideals of a free state. It seems like Nigerians takes a peculiar joy in intimidation and harassment.

The incident that forced me into writing this morning is the organized assault on the digital presence of Chicago State University. The university confirmed in response to Mr. Atiku legal team, that Mr. Bola Tinubu had indeed been associated with their institution. However, a faction of Nigerians raised doubts and, in turn, directed their frustrations towards the university, demanding the release of Tinubu's academic details. This thus baffles me about what we really want. Do we want actual justice or we just want a scapegoat to be made from anyone associated with Tinubu both legally and illegally? How can you expect a university to release the details of a student publicly without the student’s consent or via a compelling court order?

This incident raises questions about the level of discourse prevailing in our society. While we are all concerned about the state of affairs, it's crucial to maintain a level of respect, especially when engaging with esteemed institutions. Casting doubt on an institution's integrity, particularly when they respond to a legitimate query, is a step in the wrong direction.
