To me, they all have no case against Tinubu.....

No one was able to prove amongst them that they have a higher number of votes than Tinubu

Their main arguement is on technicalities and legal interpretation i.e the Abuja 25% issue

The primary objective of both Obi and Atiku is to disqualify the candidature of Tinubu base on academic discrepancies and his supposed crime of forfeiture.

Putting all these together, I think both Obi and Atiku's case will be thrown out

These people especially the English press are trying to morally and emotionally abuse these players moving to the Saudi Pro League.

Of course money is critical!....the English premier league became the best league in the world due to money....West ham and Brighton at the moment can outbid any Italian team in the market not to talk about the EPL top six....

Moreover, these clubs are the ones chasing these players away.....Ronaldo waited and waited for an European team to sign him all to no avail....dem now dey cry say na money!.....

PoliticsRe: Controversy About Whether Or Not Peter Obi Gave Monetary Gift To Rufai Oseni by aybabz101: 10:45am On Aug 30, 2023
Rufai Oseni is obviously a sentimental journalist with the Arise TV crew. I actually dont respect the guy coz I think feel like he is just a baby in an adult body. Very hypocritical.......the incidence with the LASTMA officials coming back to memory.....they know how to talk but always fail to practice that they are preaching....

To those thinking that Tinubu is liberal.........he is not ooo.......the fact is that nigeria politics has advanced....he cannot do anyhow ....if he does, he go see anyhow...... just take a look at the ENDSARS protest...

though it seems we are stagnant at the moment, i believe we are progressing.....our polity is improving and people are increasingly interested in who is leading us.....what remains is this local government autonomy to wrestle power away from these greedy governors.....
PoliticsComplexities Of Social Media Dynamics In Nigeria: Tinubu And CSU Saga. by aybabz101(op): 6:40am On Aug 29, 2023
In recent times, Nigeria has witnessed a surge in what can only be described as narcissistic behaviors exhibited by a handful of individuals. Undoubtedly, the hunger for change runs deep, which necessitates the dismantling of existing norms to pave the way for new beginnings. Yet, the strategies adopted by some segments of our society to usher in this change have taken on a rather questionable and less-than-impressive tone.

The emergence of social media as an influential force cannot be underestimated. Across the globe, platforms like Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram have significantly molded political landscapes, redefining the way people engage with power. Remember the Arab Spring? Social media platforms played a pivotal role in propelling this movement to its full potential. And let's not forget the resounding impact of the Black Lives Matter movement, which harnessed the power of social media to spread awareness and drive change. Similarly, social media has been a game-changer in other realms too. It catalyzed the global spread of the MeToo movement, unearthing hidden stories of abuse and exploitation. Not to mention its role in dethroning corrupt figures who manipulated their positions for personal gain, like the recent case of Mr. Luis Rubiales of Spain Football Federation.

However, when it comes to Nigeria, there's a twist in the tale. Take, for instance, the recent "cook-a-thon marathon" led by Hilda. What began as a fun initiative nearly spiraled into chaos as Nigerians flooded social media accounts, subjecting the former record holder, Lata Tondon, to a barrage of unwarranted comments. The fallout was evident as Ms. Tondon took the drastic step of disabling her comment sections. Equally concerning is the targeting of celebrities and influential figures who find themselves at the receiving end of harassment due to their political leanings. One wonders, in the midst of such heated exchanges, whether we are genuinely promoting the ideals of a free state. It seems like Nigerians takes a peculiar joy in intimidation and harassment.

The incident that forced me into writing this morning is the organized assault on the digital presence of Chicago State University. The university confirmed in response to Mr. Atiku legal team, that Mr. Bola Tinubu had indeed been associated with their institution. However, a faction of Nigerians raised doubts and, in turn, directed their frustrations towards the university, demanding the release of Tinubu's academic details. This thus baffles me about what we really want. Do we want actual justice or we just want a scapegoat to be made from anyone associated with Tinubu both legally and illegally? How can you expect a university to release the details of a student publicly without the student’s consent or via a compelling court order?

This incident raises questions about the level of discourse prevailing in our society. While we are all concerned about the state of affairs, it's crucial to maintain a level of respect, especially when engaging with esteemed institutions. Casting doubt on an institution's integrity, particularly when they respond to a legitimate query, is a step in the wrong direction.

BusinessRe: Tinubu Receives Petition Against Dangote Over $3.4 Billion Siphoned Through CBN by aybabz101: 3:13pm On Aug 20, 2023
pocom35:
LOL ..isn't that the support he should get for embarking on a $20bn project ..no human no earth has ever done in Africa.. and you think he can do that with his bare hands.. you look at the state of the economy.... we both know that one of the things that brought this far is the lack of a refinery.. now someone comes to correct not by building one to meet half of out needs but all and surplus for exports..and you think he doesn't require incentive to do it?

don't get me wrong though ..his crime here isn't stealing forex but acquiring them wrongly ..after all he was putting them all into the Nigerian economy by investing in all his project..

politicians have stolen 20x and stacked them foreign banks ...Abacha is a sample, they are not hated as much as someone taking the risk to better the country..
In all sincerity, though I dont really like his business model, I have to give him credit like u said...at least he built something....

But the truth is he won't solve any of our local problems, ...maybe keep some forex in the country actually...

I said this because we can all see the disparities in his cement pricing in Nigeria when compared with other west african countries....he is basically exploiting us here even when the cements are produced here and transported to neighboring African countries for sale.....

He open his mouth and said when his refinery is completed, petroleum products will be sold at international rate....as if the crude will be sold to him in international rate.... as if he will import crude into the country.....as if he will pay customs duties....

My point is this man is an exploiter of Nigerians....his only advantage to me is job creation...
BusinessRe: Tinubu Receives Petition Against Dangote Over $3.4 Billion Siphoned Through CBN by aybabz101:
I had an arguement with someone on this platform that Dangote is one of the worst things to have happened to Nigeria. Exploiting his connections with the rogue government officials to siphon the Nigerian population....his cement is another thing...

He cant compete fairly...all his other ventures especially in the food industry was a totall failure....his successfull businesses are the cement and sugar industries which technically are a monopolistic industries in Nigeria

His refinery was practically built by the Nigerian government....he was given tax rebate, free from customs duties and dollar sold to him at a very cheap rate, far below the official CBN rate....

The man is a leech and Nigeria really needs to get rid of him

are u reasoning along with me at al? ..... this is not about tribe...its just pure fact! im telling you that regardless of who is president, fuel subsidy will go because its not sustainable.....

im telling you that this country has been without a functioning refinery for about forty years now which is due to failure of successive administrations.....

Can't you see how stupid and daft you are?? grin
Pls argue base on context...i'm not stupid neither am I daft......to your point....

Do you understand the meaning of subsidy?..... and you understand the concept of foreign exchange and external debt?... and you understand for a fact that Nigeria population is estimated to be approximately 250 million against 125 million in the 2000s which means we spend more on the same income i.e crude oil....in fact we earn less now compared to early 2000s because we atleast had a functioning agro-export industries which in a dilapidated state at the moment.....

nothing Obi or Atiku would have done differently as regard fuel subsidy......so, all this shit happening is expected.....

And the Dangote that is building a refinery at the moment said he will sell at international rate......SMH...corrupt leaders and dishonest followers

Even the hausas and fulanis with their extended families in Niger are not protesting....and why protesting under the flag of Igbos only, why not include your fellow Nigerians in Niger...
