Juxtaposing a lawless country with a law abiding country is insane.
Most of these people are comparing public hospitals in UK with both private and public in Nigeira. We have quacks in Nigeria in the name of private hospitals. At least we read the case of the doctor removing kidney of patients. That can never happen in the UK.
Nigeria, we are lawless, we can buy every medication over the counter without prescription. That's what we call good healthcare. SMH
Nigeria private hospitals are saturated, you can check in any any time so far you have the funds. Since we are used to gra gra approach, we get what we want, that's good health care.
Nigeria where you need to know someone before you can get quick attention is what we call good health care but when it gets out of hand, UK is a safe haven. Ask the poor man in the village if he gets same treatment like the middle class.
Forget it, our lawlessness seems to be best approach to everything. We are used to it so, going through proper channel is never in our blood and we see a lawful country with proper channel as bad. |

fineboynl: There is an increase rate at which car batteries are stolen. What is fueling it is the high demand and available market for them. The other day they stole my neighbor car battery and I want to know how well can one avoid this. How the thief open the bonnet? And is it possible to chain the bonnet inside? Check under your tire, the string/cable that pulls the bonnet pass through. That's where it is pulled gently to open the bonnet. |

Vladigor2: Just so we are clear: Constitutionally, the requirements to be President of Nigeria are contained in the constitution, read together with the definitions in S.318 of the constitution.
To qualify to be President of Nigeria, a candidate needs to be educated up to 'school certificate level'.
Section 318 of the constitution defines this as Primary Six School Leaving Certificate when it is accompanied by at least 10 years of service in the public or private sector, attendance of certain educational courses and the ability to read and write in English. Thanks for the piece. We learn every day. What about the bolded.? |

Vladigor2: Havent used it, nysc cert. too Almost 10yrs now it hasnt been touched.
It seems yours is useful, what have you been using it for? Where do u work? How much do you earn? Not necessary you use it The constitution states that any candidate vying for such a position must have at least a school cert. Therefore, his certificate is necessary for the purpose. |

Vladigor2: Honestly i like interacting with respectful people. I can tell you with 100% certainty that Tinubu didnt say "i didnt attend primary, secondary school my certificates were stolen"
Such disjointed statements must have come from one of his overzealous aids/support and it clearly shows a lack of integrity and lack coherence.
Posts like these only spring up from me, they hack and block my old accounts.

Moshkom: BELOW IS BASICALLY THE ENTIRE PROCESS IN SUMMARY:
Step 1
Research for schools that suit your profile perfectly in terms of programs they offer , requirements for admission and funding opportunities .
Step 2
Contact the *Graduate Coordinator* telling him why you are interested in the school. You're to introduce yourself talking about your name, Country, Course of Study, GPA, plans for GRE and TOEFL, Research Interests, publication and also why you like his research interests. Conclude the mail by inquiring if there are funding opportunities for your intended program.
Step 3
Prepare for GRE/TOEFL/GMAT (depending on the program requirements)
Step 4 Apply to the schools you choose ( Some schools requires you to apply for funding as you submit your application, some give automatic funding while some requires you to apply for funding *only* after admission offer)
Step 5 Request for your I20 The I20 is the most important Visa document which displays relevant information about your program, cost and funding.
Step 6
Process your SEVIS (fmjfee.com). The SEVIS is a compulsory fee which must be paid before Visa Interview.
Step 7 Apply for Visa. This requires intense preparation because you're going to be drilled by the Visa Officers.
Step 8 Pay for your flight and fly. |

I'm currently in service (NYSC) to be completed in April.
My concern is:
- Who is the employer, NYSC or the school (PPA) ? - SALARY - NYSC pays me, but the school does not. - Employer Address - NYSC Headquarters or the School's address in Edo state?

We are still in ancient days. No regard for humans in this country.
You caught her with 500K. The once caught with bullion van in broad daylight are walking freely and you said, we have a government
Respect her dignity even if she's not lettered, beggar, mentally challenged or disabled.
You failed to ask questions, you just judged her to be a kidnapper because you don't understand her language and you handed her over to the police who will collect all the money, push her back to the street to start over. She becomes angered and decides to fight back. She joins a terrorist group, then, you would blame her for not taking complaints to the government that labelled her.
There can be no peace if we continue this way. |
Car Talk › Re: Evidence INNOSON Vehicles Are Made In China. Pixs by ayenika1: 2:10pm On Feb 06, 2022 |
NafeesaAA: Let's discuss objectively...let me make it clear, i applaud Innoson, he is asset to Nigeria but he is not into manufacturering of cars...YET!! He will get there by God's grace, Rome was not built in a day but what they are doing now is assembly!!!
Truth is, manufacturing the engine block DESIGNED and made up of raw materials SOURCED by the company in question is when a motor company is said to manufacture a vehicle. It is largely the engine and body design patented to the company that earns it the right to be tagged a vehicle manufacturing company.
From the below images, you can see that all vehicles on INNOSON website are on the page of the Chinese-made BAIC company. Its BJ80 SUV states that the Innoson IVM G80 is indeed a variant of the Chinese mid-size 4-WD luxury SUV manufactured by a subsidiary of BAIC (Beijing Auto Industry Corporation) – BAIC Motors under BAW (Beijing Auto Works).
Looking closer, Innoson IVM G80 and the BAIC BJ80 does not only share similarities on their exterior alone but also feature quite the exact same 100% interior design and features like the dashboard styling. Even the wheels are 100% tge same. Even INNOSON G-12 Military Vehicles is a direct replica 100% with the original G-12 on BIAC official website.
Anybody rich enough can basically pay to any assembly plant and badge your car whatever name you want.
Its not possible two companies claiming same vehicles. BAW is the manufacturing company in China while INNOSON is assembling plant in Nigeria. If BAW fold up today, INNOSON can't stand on it own. Benz is not dependent on BMW existence neither is Toyota 100% lookalike with Honda.
Dangote Peugeot Company is no difference from what INNOSON is currently albeit with a better local content ratio. Go thru the pictures I pasted and judge for yourself. Innoson is an assembly plant and not a manufacturing company. He tells manufacturers the quality and quantity of what he wants. They produce and send to him. Whatever product he uses it for is non-of their business. You gerrit? The majority of phone parts in foreign countries especially in the USA are gotten from China. They just ensure they are of good quality that meets standard hence the cost of such products. O |
Family › Re: I Am Tired Of My Wife by ayenika1: 5:58pm On Jan 18, 2022 |
Prospertochu: I am married with three kids 2 years and 3 months triplets, my salary is 55k. I used to give my wife 20k, mother 10k, 5k for rainy days and 20k for myself transportation and other expenses outside my house.
My wife complained that the money was not enough I added 5k making it 25k monthly but she still demanding for more money and she has threatened to leave if I don't give her more.
I had no money to give her, my own mother was homeless staying in church and I couldn't stop giving her that 10k because she needed it. My wife used to fight me every single day and my uncle asked us to leave the family house as we were disturbing their peace and I was ready to let her go and I will be sending 25k for our triplets upkeep every month but for the sake of our kids we have settled down with 30k monthly leaving me with 15k.
So far, we have moved out of the family house, we are staying in a parlour and room house a brother from Canada gave us the place it is not permanent but it is better and we are very very grateful.
Like I said earlier my mother was staying in church, now we have a one bedroom house I have discussed with my wife for my mum to come and live with us and I will stop the 10k I was giving her and I will add it to her money making it 40k monthly, she has agreed.
Now that my mother is here with us, she started again with the 40k is not enough to feed all of us, note I don't eat breakfast, I eat lunch at work and in the evening I eat at home. She is only giving my mother food in the evening while she and my kids eat 3 Square meal a day.
I asked her why she is treating my mother so badly she said the economy is hard if she doesn't have she won't kill herself. I am sick and tired and if I have sorted things it was for the sake of our kids and now I am starting to regret. I am thinking from this month when I get my salary I will give her 30k and give my mother 10k to be cooking her own foods.
Is my decision good? Separation will NEVER solve the issue at hand. All I see is a young couple who lack understanding and proper communication. If these can be fixed, you guys have a bright future. No matter how much you give a jobless woman, it would never be enough. First, she needs a job to understand how to make money Second, let her know your mother should be treated like hers and if she finally gets a job, she would be the one to take care of them in her absence Third, look for a side hustle asap. Your take-home is too small for this present economy with 3 kids. Fourth, start making plans with her for the kids future. Let her know they would soon start school and that your salary cannot take care of that bills Fifth, sit her down and let her understand why you are a couple. |
Family › Re: My Marriage Is Falling Apart And My Wife Wants To Sabotage My Job. by ayenika1: 11:12am On Jan 08, 2022 |
oladiddy: My wife and I have been married for over 3 years now with a beautiful daughter who is 2years plus but things are falling apart everyday.
Whenever we had arguments she will want to sabotage my job. Couple of months ago, we had an argument and I was to give update to my team via teams meeting (I work from home)..My wife keep raising her voice, I left the living room and went to bedroom lock the door behind to continue with my meeting but surprisingly to me, my wife went through the window and started the drama again.
Just yesterday there was another drama and she picked my phone unknowingly and call my overall boss.
Note: it is from this job am sponsoring her Masters in one of the centers in Uniport and also feeding the family. More than 70% of my monthly earnings goes to her. I am not a social person..I don't drink and either spend lavishly.
My wife is a very proud person and she has this obvious non challant attitude which are all seen by family members. Everybody keep talking about her but she's not changing. Although I have my own differences as well but she believe I can't control her. She's not submissive at all...I can say that over again and again.
Even while she's doing her masters, I was the one taking care of my daughter at home (thanks to covid)..in fact all my team members knows my daughter as my second colleague. I believe we all know how working from home with kids is like.
Please I need your advice. I am already thinking of divorce but the fear of loosing my daughter to her custody is my biggest challenge.
I am loosing my mind.
Please push to FP! All these red flags and you still got married? What does she do for living? She's your wife, therefore, you need to man up. Sit her down, ask her questions, don't hide your feelings and don't be too negative about her all through. Don't refer to past events too much. Make it brief and tell her your plans for the family. Ask her what she wants as well. Answer her truthfully to your ability. If it persist What's your relationship with your inlaws? If it's cordial, that's the next step. Don't state all these above, just tell them to please appeal to her in making the home friendly that gradually things would be fine. If it further persist Take a decision. |

Is it advisable to apply for such course putting into consideration the credit units (2yrs course I think), the cost and the certificate issued?
