Romance / Re: My Fiancee Is Good In Terms Of Character But She Isn't Resourceful by ayo26(m): 4:05pm On Jun 14, 2023
Great man. I like this...This is encouraging.

Oluromantic:
My advice is to give a little more push. I'm saying this because most resourceful ladies might also find it difficult to submit. I know there may be a lot of ranting and criticisms about submission but I'm giving you a honest advice as a realist for your future. Nothing makes you a fulfilled man than to have a resourceful wife that allows you to be in charge: such women are very rare. Once they can work hard on their own, submission with their money gradually slides out...it's psychological.

Now considering the fact that you can't find all you need in one person, you have to weigh your options which emphasizes the role of grooming. Grooming means training her to soothe your taste or standard. To be frank, it might not be a sweet experience at first but it's worth it. The point is you're not ready yet, when you're ready, you will drill her seriously and your love for her is the fuel. I did it for my wife. Anything that gives you peace of mind as you said; that she has good character, should be seriously guided and guarded. Only few women will give you such peace despite their imperfections.

Start from a small level, get her a shop if you can afford it to start selling provisions or likely things and monitor her totally so far she's not pissed to say you're domineering. In my case, my wife enjoyed my control and that made it easy for me. She said she likes the disciplinary love and that someone is mad over her. Now she's super-productive, she even charges me for her services and collects her money promptly. Business is business. I trained her.
Politics / Re: Tinubu signs bill raising High Court Judges retirement age to 70 by ayo26(m): 5:55pm On Jun 08, 2023
UK's retirement age is not 65. There is not cap to retirement in UK. By law effective 2021 retirement age for Judges is 75. However, reasonable adjustments can be made.

Taylor92:
USA retirement age is 62

Canada retirement age is 64

UK retirement age is 65

Tinubu don rush go raise him own to 70 so we could have more Demented ancestors in the government

He will soon extend Political age group to 97 to justify why he’s ruling at 91

Politics / Re: Caption This Picture Of Fashola Smiling Inside The APC Situation Report Room by ayo26(m): 1:05am On Feb 28, 2023
rxmusa:
1. Peter Obi wins "Tinubu's" Lagos. But you are still saying INEC is rigging for Tinubu just so that when Tinubu wins Katsina, you will say it was rigged.

Oh wait. Atiku won Katsina, Buhari's State.

So really how many persons do you want to accuse INEC of rigging for? Why not accept where your candidate lose?

2. So Obi can win Lagos, it is not rigging. But Amoda Ogunlere cannot win Osun that you said he is from, it is rigging.

Oh wait. Tinubu did not even win Osun. Atiku did. So what are you saying please? You thought Obi will win Osun??

3. Obi went to Kano and went straight to Sabon Gari where you have Igbos and minority Christians.

That is the divisive campaign Obi ran yet you will shout rigging if Tinubu wins Kano.

Oh wait. It is Kwankwaso that is winning Kano despite being an enemy of the sitting APC Governor!

Again, what are you saying

4. In the South East where Obi is from, Obi is winning by 90%

In the South West where Tinubu is from, Obi has won Lagos, Atiku took Osun. But when Tinubu takes Ekiti, it is rigging.

What is wrong with you guys?

5. Obi is winning in Edo State. If you add PDP and APC votes and times it by 2, Obi is still winning. This is a State where there is a PDP Governor and a Former APC National Chairman.

But it is rigging anywhere Obi is not winning. How can a people be this bigoted?

6. I have read, on WhatsApp, people saying they will poison food and give to Northerners for not voting Obi.

I have read people here saying they will never give a Northern beggar any money for not voting Obi.

Meanwhile Obi is clearing the South South and South East and Northerners are not threatening anyone. And you will call them uncivilized?

7. An unknown Labour party candidate for House of Rep, defeated the APC and PDP to win Etin-Osa Fed. Constituency in Lagos.

The APC guy was Obanikoro's son. The PDP guy was Banky W the musician. Both floored by a Labour party candidate people didn't know.

But the election was rigged is coming from the mouth of Labour party supporters.

8. Another unknown Labour party candidate defeated the APC and PDP in the major Senatorial Election in Edo.

The gap was almost 200%. If you add the PDP and APC votes together, the unknown Labour candidate still beat them with over 50k votes and these were not small candidates. They are the two most influential people in Benin!

But Labour Party supporters are still shouting rigging, failed election. Does this make sense

9. Obi is heading to 500,000 votes in Enugu. Whereas Tinubu has less than 5,000 votes in the whole Enugu.

This is not rigged, but wherever Tinubu wins is rigged.

10. Atiku's VP is the GOVERNOR of Delta State.

In Delta State, Obi has won 11 out of the 16 Local Government Areas annoinced so far.

But his supporters are still shouting the election is rigged. Is that not madness?

NB: If you cause the war you are using to bully everyone we will all suffer it. Pat Utomi that is encouraging you will carry his oyinbo face and seek asylum somewhere in America or Europe where he will collect cool breeze and return after your demise to claim hero of democracy. Use sense.

Education / Re: Oyo Moves For The Sole Ownership Of Lautech by ayo26(m): 9:11am On Nov 27, 2019
PlsBanMe:
You and yourbrother both put money together to buy a car. You both shared the cost of purchase and maintenance.

Later, your brother bought another car but still continue to contribute his quota to the car you jointly owed. But you say how can your brother buy another car. That action means you have become the only owner of the old car. You therefore asked your brother never to get near the old car but face the new one.

You are nothing but a thief.

Your brother still has every right to the old car. If you don't want him to use it again, you can only persuade him to sell his shares to you. You can't take it by force.

Don't be a shameless greedy brother.

This your analogy is faulty from all perspectives. OSUN state has struggled consistently when it comes to contributing it quota. Why hold on to an asset you are not ready to maintain? Ownership doesn't mean responsibility. But for progress and healthy growth both should be on the table. Cheers

To those contemplating on when and how to resign. It is important to go back to your offer letter(contract of employment), read through the clauses to see the expectations and days in lieu of notice you've to give your employer.
If you are yet to take your annual leave, it could be used as part of the notice period and if you have and you don't intend to keep working within the expected notice period, it can be prorated from your remuneration. There are different ways one can dance around terminating a contract, seek a professional HR's advice.
As long as you intend keeping that organization in your CV for reference, it is important you part way in the most reasonable manner.

Happy Sunday!!!

I'm tired of hearing these names in the Nigerian political set up. Btw, the problem with Nigeria is not just about the leader, the political system has been configured in such a way that no single person can save the country, also our culture/attitude towards life and day to day activities is a bane to our development.

Bro. It's part of the nature of the press o. Publicity means more cash and recognition. Therefore public attention is their desire and the only way to get this, is to attend to people in the spotlight. Writing reports and fighting for the interests of citizens that are not in the spotlight is no longer the concern for most media outfits.

It's an attempt at investigative journalism only that often times, some of their reports are not always balanced and fair, which paints them destructive. They need tangible and reliable facts to back up some of their claims.
