Mine was the very second day. I got her number on Friday, she chatted me on Saturday that she has nothing to eat at home. IkranDragon: Hello Guys. Please I need your brotherly advice. I just met this girl in less than 2 weeks.
We are still in the talking stage, this past Val, we exchanged gifts but after that it has been her needing money for this and that.
She keeps whinning about it whenever we talk, we can't even talk for straight 5 mins without talking about her financial needs.
But I always didn't have nothing to say than to keep her hopes alive as I don't offer to support her.
Now, she texted me tonight to lend her 15k to repair her damaged phone. I already told her I am not loaded enough to do that.
How can I skip this issue of money and press on with the game, or should I just leave her?
Please I need your candid advice, I am not so good at this games. |

I feel he did it on purpose so that he can go back to prison. He obviously has no life outside the prison. In prison, he has free shelter, free food, free clothing and friends. That's why every other member of the gang ran but he was caught. What he needs is help and love. If those things are provided for him outside prison, who knows, he might change and still be useful for himself and the society. |

sauceny: Whatz this bloody civilian tryna do He should leave the military to their ruling & go do what he knows how to do best "civilian ruling"
I believe if those given the death sentence where found guilty shouldn't be pardoned. I mean, the army isn't jst a unified body where you make your own decisions, being an army comes with much work of full dedication & commitment in protecting your country...
I think they should face the sentence passed upon them to serve as a deterrent to others trying to follow same part, besides the motto has always been clear "Obey the last order".
If the Nigerian military men were chosen from nairaland,i think by now Nigeria would have been at the verge of collapse...Countries like Ghana,Sudan, Cameroon & others would have been a threat to us.
The military is meant for strong hearted men,not the timid men i see over here attacking me for being mean & wicked. ℓ̊ know if your dad or son were to be among this soldiers,Ɣøû wouldn't probably be thinking and talking this way. That they were soldiers doesn't mean they should be killed like chickens without proper legal trial. After all the army is yet under the sovereign federal law of this nation. |

ℓ̊ am not anti feminism and ℓ̊ am lover of women. But ℓ̊ have realized that at the cause root of every bad thing is a woman. The guy driving a brand new Murano Jeep and is a student of a populay univerity at toll gate area in Ibadan(L**d C**y Uni) hit a 505 peugeout car of an old man at around Dugbe. The man came down and started shouting on the guy,the guy postrated and started begging the man and every other person there too. After much ado,the man agreed and was about entering his car to drive off only for the guy to ask the man how much is the stupid car he is shouting about, and that he will give him cash on the spot,he went to the back of his car and there two Ghana must go bags filled with money. He was immediately accosted by by the police and on getting to his house, somewhere in side Oluyole Estate, they met two girls in his "prayer room" with calabash and all sorts. It exists but its not real. What ℓ̊ mean is that it is very possible to get riches from other means other than God but one can't get wealth except from God. There is a big difference between wealth and riches. The devil told Jesus in the Mathew that the riches of this world has been handed over to him by "God" and if Jesus will only worship him,he will give them to hima but he failed!
There is no path to having maney that is not paved with blood its either the blood of Jesus for christians or the blood of any other thing for everyone else.

cigaricon: Ewww ewww ewwww enough of the arguement. Now listen Every body has a ROLE to play in the family. Now take this for an instance and answer the question that follows •Ur mum calls that she is visiting. She arrives and finds out that the whole house is untidy and there is no already made food in the house, will she say "ah Emeka I told u I was coming and u didn't even boyher to prepare anything for ur Mother in-law"? No ofcourse, she will direct her fingers towards the wife cos she knws its her DUTY. It also applies to when she comes and she is served a verry palatable egusi soup and pounded yam, even if Nkechi had prepared it together with her husband, Nkechi still takes all the praised because it is assumed that she had prepared the food. Why is the asumption? Because it is Nkechi's DUTY.
•Ur mum comes for 'omugor' when u recently put to bed. The baby diapers is finished, No food stuf in the house, the baby has a stomach problem or baby's food is finished etc, will ur mother say 'nkechi sososo things are needed, pls dip ur hand in ur purse and bring out money for the purchase of these things" or will she ask u to TELL YOUR HUSBAND to provide all these things because she knows it is his DUTY as THE MAN
U guys should just accept ur roles and play it. I'm not saying the husband shouldn't HELP out with house chores, all I'm saying is that whenever he helps, u should always have it at the back of ur mind that he is helping you carry out ur DUTY. so apllies to when the woman contributes financialy to some family needs
Well, if u ladies are not still satisfied, I guess we turn the table around; u pay the house rent, buy food stuff, pay the electricity bill, water bill, take care of OUR medical bills, Buy US a car, finance our shopping etc while we do the house chores: cook, clean the house, wash the clothes and do the dishes. Let's see who will get tired first
Remember, house chores have. Energy saving devices dat makes it easier but the responsibilities of a man got no saving device.

LogoDWhiz: Hello peeps. It would be bad of me to keep this in and not share it, i came across the great website through a colleague, he adviced me to check out the site instead of browsing the internet, chatting, facebooking and practically doing nothing meaningful.
What is edX? EdX is a massive open online course (MOOC) provider and online learning platform. It hosts online university-level courses in a wide range of disciplines to a worldwide audience at no charge. It also conducts research into learning based on how people use its platform. EdX differs from other MOOC platforms, such Coursera and Udacity, in that it is nonprofit and runs on an open-source software platform.
EdX was founded by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Harvard University in May 2012. There are currently 56 schools, nonprofits, corporations, and international organizations that offer or plan to offer courses on the edX website. As of 22 July 2014, edX has more than 2.5 million users taking over 240 courses online.
EdX courses consist of weekly learning sequences. Each learning sequence is composed of short (an average of 10 minutes each) videos interspersed with interactive learning exercises where students can immediately practice the concepts from the videos. The courses often include tutorial videos that are similar to small on-campus discussion groups, an online textbook, and an online discussion forum where students can post and review questions and comments to each other and teaching assistants. Where applicable, online laboratories are incorporated into the course. For example, in edX's first MOOC—a circuits and electronics course—students built virtual circuits in an online lab.
EdX offers certificates of successful completion, but does not offer course credit. Whether or not a college or university offers credit for an online course is within the sole discretion of the school. EdX offers a variety of ways to take courses, including verified courses where students have the option to audit the course (no cost) or to work toward an edX verified certificate (fees vary by course), honor code courses where students can either audit (no cost) or work toward an honor code certificate (no cost). In addition, in the fall of 2013, edX launched a pilot project to offer a special certificate in a subject area (called "XSeries Certificate" after completing a bundled set of 3-4 verified courses in that subject (cost varies depending on the courses). Culled from Wikipedia
Advantages Apart from the numerous advantages cited above, from my own perspective I see this as a very wonderful setup, it's free, consist of lot of courses across all the fields of life. The course content is given at the beginning of the week, you have videos and handout to support what you are being taught, you can even download the resources and that can be added to your personal library. And then there are quizzes and tests at a particular time and you have the exam.
It will be an added advantage to you as you have more educational qualifications to yourself and it also shows you make use of your free time wisely.
It's free, you can access the website anytime you like within the week, they are being partnered by top world-class universities like Harvard University, MIT.
This and lot more. Try it out and you won't regret it.

I was listening to a programme over the radio ealier today, where listeners were allowed to call in. The programme was on the current affairs in the country.
One woman called in and she was crying profusely on the phone as she contributes. After she dropped the line, the presenter were taken aback and were asking themselves if any national issue has ever moved them to tears before.
We even saw examples in Patience Jonathan,Buhari,El-Rufai,Femi Fani Kayode etc
