I don't use trove but on paper they seem to have the cheapest trade commission of 1% compared to bamboo which is at 1.5% (for portfolio below 10k dollars) someone somewhere complained about their older charges but I can not varify. I use passfolio because of their 0 trade commission and because compared to the Nigerian based services like bamboo and trove.. They are actually a registered broker in the US and are member of FINRA SIPC. They also use drivewealth which means they have same stocks as to have and bamboo. Do your own investigation and figure out what works for you.

I dont even know why this is a question or why chaka is even popular on here. First of, chaka has a trade commission of 2% that means chaka would charge you 2 dollars from every 100 dollar of trade buying or selling. This is the highest in the business. Trove charges 1% and Bamboo Invest charges 1.5%.

Chaka has the worst customer service and they are not transparent about ownership of their shares or who their clearing house broker is. Their exchange rate is also the most ridiculous, when I tired them back in September, they were charging 475 for dollars when everyone was charging 465. Did I say how bad their support is? They could not answer most of the questions I asked mostly about stock ownership, do I own the stocks I buy through them or is chaka the custodian owner. I really tried using them but in the end I just felt this is not a serious company.

I am not surprised of their issues with SEC which has banned them from advertising or even selling stocks.

No sir, a phone being tagged a flagship killer is not just based on it's processor, e.g. the Mi note 10 has an SD 730g processor but it has the camera and design of a flagship device so at a cheaper rate so it can be regarded as a flagship killer, the Realme X2 pro has an SD 855+ processor with a 90hz refresh rate and 50w fast charger and was around 140k at release, that qualifies it to be called a flagship killer.

No samsung A or M series is close to being a flagship killer

Oneplus nord is a flagship killer with 750g same as A71 5G. You'll hardly see a mid ranger with 5G packed with that chipset.

I repeat, I was told that by one of their representatives at Samsung office. It was a good advice cos imagine in about a year or two the price of this same A71 will drop like crazy, my sister bought the A7 2018 that same year it came out over 100k and when we got to Samsung office at Jabi lake mall Abuja the phone was valued at 26k at second hand value while the NOTE and S series still had a better value..

In all, it depends on individual preference, I like the A71 too and will go with that over the iPhone 8.

Yea.. they're not flagship phones they're good premium phones that fits the tech of the moment.

Don't always buy a phone cos of the second hand value or else you'll end up with a bad one. Get a good phone that will serve you. A series is second to Samsung S series (which is their flagship). Obviously it will have second hand value more. And ,the A series are one of the best Midranger in the world when comparing to others Midranger and you're getting "Samsung" as an android phone ,the name will sell itself.

A71 definitely. One of the best mid rangers of the year. Also some might argue it is also among the best flagship killer cos of the processor. Got everything you want. Good battery life, Beautiful and crispy screen display, amazing camera, it runs so smooth and fast, you gonna get updates from Samsung for 2yrs. Their flagships are for 3yrs. It's definitely value for money for me.

To be honest ... this isn't really expensive. It's just that naira is so useless. And yes I can buy it if I've the money. Tech like this can and will take you for over 5 years.

Both are good flagships. You won't regret going for any. But the Samsung looks more sleek with curved edges and the screen display. The pictures are great with the Amoled screen and you should go for the snapdragon variant cos of the battery life. The iPhone 8 isn't bad either just make sure it's the plus version.

Why won't you like Davido?

I think trove and chaka are good with long term investment..while 212 is better with short and day trading

If you focus on the nagatives alone. U won't start anything. Including driving a car or flying a plane. I use Trove nd chaka in Nigeria. Chaka is fair too. But not perfect.
Even Robin Hood in d USA is not perfect.
Just start.

If u are a day trader uses 212nfor day trading. I use Trove to keep my long term (dividend focused stock) I'm still working on getting my 212 for day trading. I'm using chaka for day trading now. But fees dey chop my head. Bamboo na no go area for me.

Good morning everyone. I've been trying to get into the US stock market and I've read a lot about it. But the reviews I saw from our Nigeria apps aren't good enough. Bamboo fees are just too much. Heard trove and chaka fees aren't up to bamboo but their services aren't also one of the best. But I still see most people here use either trove or chaka.. so guys which one will be the best for a new user like me.

Also, is trading212 also a good place to start .is there cons I should be looking forward to. Cos I read something about 78% investors lose their money or so to CFDs.

Also. What amount of capital is good enough to start with?
