Bought USDJPY @78.02 around 7pm on Monday. Although it wasn't really a pattern but took the trade as I saw its been oversold on Sunday with the fib fan and expansion as target point. A bullish engulfing pattern was also formed on Sunday which pushed it up.

Monitoring closely, though.

i remember when i blew 3 accounts in a row and i took a 6 month break from trading, i felt very bad, but in forex whether you leave or not guys will still be raking and the market will still be moving
so i was, well if people can make it then why shud i give up, and i came back and sat down, i studied what caused my losses, started working on avoiding them and solving the errors i had, men the day i did that i felt brand new, since then no more gambling but its been business althrough, especially with a wonderful thread with wonderful traders, like yah all, this is the place to be, kudos --house

I think www.babypips.com is a good place to start from. Just grasp the techs and practice whatever you read in there. If you can drop your mail, I would also send you John Murphys book on technicals (read the first ten chapters). Practice well on demo before you go live.

I'm a christian and I believe that these negative statements about Islam won't make christians or atheist look any better.

Some of us have got Muslims who helped us in times of need, taught us in school, sponsored us and even saved our lives. The fact that some extremist or fanatics always react violently to pictures and movies doesn't change the precepts of Islam.

Similarly, going by the number of Pastors and Christians acquiring wealth and ripping members of the church does not change the fact that the soul of Christianity is Jesus Christ, who lived a modest life even as the Son of God. Does it mean christians are generally greedy? No.

The laws are there and those who have chosen to break those rules all in the name of religion are on their own.

I believe each individual is unique in his/her essential capacity and should be respected based on his/her own character - christian or muslim.

Exactly. Infact, Bangladesh and Nigeria should be named "twin-nation" because of the similarity that exists. Population size, corruption, civil war from the east, hard-working people,brilliant minds - just like our own Philip Emeagwili is called the father of the internet, Bangladesh's Mouhamed Younis (Father of microcredit) also started what we call Microfinance banks all over the world today...ermmm and in religious violence too. Lol.

Bangladesh passed through hell when they were still East Pakistan. Just like the Biafran war, they also went through civil war that claimed the lives of about 3million people. They eventually succeeded and were able to create their own country, unlike Biafra.

Its just so sad how people don't look back in time when situations like this occur. Do they want to loose more lives with their own hands all in the name of religion? Have they forgot the price of blood they paid to become Bangladesh?

I hope they go back to their senses and stop this violence.

Slept like a dead horse lastnight and missed the bull run on Gold (till 1780) at the open of the market.

Didn't trade today, anyways. Always advisable to stay off the market at the end of each quarter as today ends the 3rd quarter.

naijababe: I guess u can close half and leave the other half to run. Check out the daily chart, I have price bouncing off the 23.8% fib level, a hidden bullish divergence and strong looking hammer was formed yesterday. That trendline in green is my minimum target and the price at that point 1775.

I am just riding my positions, seems like the reversals have completed and our prior uptrend is set to continue.

Exactly why I traded it this midnight. Strong hammer and fib as support. Wrote it up here sef.
