[s] This is no surprise to me. INEC has been barred from disqualifying any candidate. It's only the political party or the courts that can do that. This was the verdict given by the Supreme Court in 2007.

This is the same issue Buhari is facing. Buhari failed to submit copies of his WASC as requested by the law. INEC noticed his defect but went ahead to list him as a contestant since they've been barred from disqualifying candidates.

It's now left for patriotic nigerians to take Buhari along other violators of the law to court and obtain the court verdict. The under-aged candidates will be disqualified by the courts. Buhari also will be disqualified by the courts unless he shows us his certificate.
