Lately, Everyone is talking about BlackBerry and wondering if they would ever be a reliable smartphone manufacturer again. Although, many people love BlackBerry because of its BBM and the Smartphones they released not quite long ago e.g. BlackBerry Z10, BlackBerry Q10, BlackBerry Q5 etc. but since BlackBerry started thinking of releasing its Messenger to the Android and iOS Platform, many BlackBerry users lost the trust and passion they have. Few days ago, BlackBerry released a letter to every BlackBerry lovers and users, titled - "You Can Still Count on Us". Here is the letter -

BlackBerry

To our valued customers, partners and fans,
You’ve no doubt seen the headlines about BlackBerry. You’re probably wondering what they mean for you as one of the tens of millions of users who count on BlackBerry every single day.

We have one important message for you:

You can continue to count on BlackBerry.
How do we know? We have substantial cash on hand and a balance sheet that is debt free. We are restructuring with a goal to cut our expenses by 50 percent in order to run a very efficient, customer-oriented organization.

These are no doubt challenging times for us and we don’t underestimate the situation or ignore the challenges. We are making the difficult changes necessary to strengthen BlackBerry. One thing we will never change is our commitment to those of you who helped build BlackBerry into the most trusted tool for the world’s business professional. And speaking of those dramatic headlines, it’s important that we set the record straight on a few things.

Best in class productivity tool.
We have completely revamped our device portfolio this year with the launch of BlackBerry 10. We have four BlackBerry 10 devices – two all touch and two hybrid (touch and QWERTY) – and all are running the third update of our new platform. If what you care about most is getting things done – taking care of your business – we have the best range of devices for you. And we continue to offer the best mobile typing experience – no ifs, ands or buts about it.

Best in class security.
Governments all over the world, global corporations and businesses that simply cannot compromise on security choose and trust BlackBerry. Security is our heritage, and the industry recognizes that BlackBerry is the most secure when it comes to the device, server and, of course, our global data network. Have no doubt that you can continue to trust us to keep your communication safe and private.

Best in class enterprise mobility management.
We changed with the market, embracing BYOD because we understand that as iOS and Android devices become common in the workplace, businesses still need to manage all of these different platforms seamlessly and securely.

This is not a trivial task. While there are a number of startup companies that make bold claims, BlackBerry has more software engineers and the most resources dedicated to developing the most innovative solutions to address this complex challenge.
And our customers know it. Over the past quarter, our BlackBerry® Enterprise Service 10 server base grew from 19,000 to more than 25,000. Corporate clients are committed to deploying and testing the latest enterprise technology from BlackBerry. We are committed to evolving with our customers. That will never change.

Best in class mobile social network.
We are bringing the most engaging mobile messaging platform to all, with our BBM launch for Android and iPhone. There are already around six million customers pre-registered to be notified of our roll out. This number is growing every day, and speaks to the tremendous opportunity we have to expand BBM beyond BlackBerry smartphones to make it the world’s largest mobile social network.

Yes, there is a lot of competition out there and we know that BlackBerry is not for everyone. That’s OK. You have always known that BlackBerry is different, that BlackBerry can set you apart. Countless world-changing decisions have been finalized, deals closed and critical communications made via BlackBerry. And for many of you that created a bond, a connection that goes back more than a decade.

We believe in BlackBerry – our people, our technology and our ability to adapt. More importantly, we believe in you. We focus every day on what it takes to make sure that you can take care of business. You trust your BlackBerry to deliver your most important messages, so trust us when we deliver one of our own: You can continue to count on us.
Sincerely,

The BlackBerry Team

BlackBerry wants to reassure millions of BlackBerry users that the company is still standing strong. They'll still provide the best in class tools that they've had all along, and will "never change their commitment to those who helped BlackBerry to become the most trusted tool for the world’s business professional." What do you think about this letter ? Do you think BlackBerry can still remain strong like they used to be ? Oya BlackBerry Girls and Boys, Speak your mind !!!

chokl8candie: I had been trying to get in touch wiv a frnd and she never picked my calls. I didnt understand dis cuz we werent fighting or anyfn of the sort so i called up a couple of mutual frnds n dey all said dey hdnt hrd from her. i drove over to her end to find out what was going on. Her mom came to open up and asked me to go directly to her room. Lying on the bed ws Stephy and she was clearly a shadow of herself. she had lost weight and she looked worn out, tired, depressed. It ws obvious she had bn crying. Asked her what was goin on with her and why she had bn in solitude ignoring everyone. It took me forever to get her to open up but she finally did.

She told me that her bF for the past 14 months called her n confesed that he's bn engaged for almost a year and would be getting married in a few weeks so he was sorry for wasting her time and hopes she can move on. (until she told me dis i thot it only happened in nollywood movies).

I felt reali bad for her cuz i know how completely in love she was with him and the sacrifices she had made for the guy. She swore she was never going to trust any guy again. Tried my best to cheer her up but since I've never bin heartbroken as badly as dis i didnt know how to change her mind. I just asked her to leave it all to God.

Why are some men so cruel? Leading a girl on for all these months when u've clearly got intentions of breaking her heart.I just feel sorry for the lady he would be marrying.

Please share ur heartbreak experiences and how u over came them or healed from them.

And if u've got any advice i could pass on to my girlfrnd that could help her heal i'd be grateful if u cud share

your friend's own is good n.a., they just dated for few months... I've been dating my girl for almost 3 years now although we've been good friends for like 12 years and this last week, she just bleeped up pata pata

Every year, A long list of the most innovative companies in the world is released by different organization like Forbes, Boston Consulting Group (BCG) etc. This year's most innovative list by Forbes and BCG has been released but the list is so contrasting. Can you imagine that BCG ranked Apple as the No. 1 most innovative company in the world which i think is quite okay while Forbes ranked Salesforce.com as the No. 1 most innovative company in the world. Why is this so different ? How did both of them come up with this totally contrasting list ?

Boston Consulting Group (BCG) quizzed 1,500 senior executives and asked them which companies they thought were most innovative then they further examined the three-year total shareholder return, three-year revenue growth and three-year margin growth of each company to determine their position on the list while Forbes looked at the company’s income from existing businesses plus the anticipated growth from those businesses and also look at the net present value of those cash flows thereby deciding their spot on the list.

On Forbes’ list, Apple ranks toward the bottom at No. 79 while they ranked No. 1 on Boston Consulting Group's list, BCG’s No. 2 and No. 3 companies are also tech companies: Samsung and Google. Samsung doesn’t even appear on the Forbes list, while Google comes in at No. 47. In reality, I think the BCG list is more accurate and acceptable than Forbes' because - you know Apple and you're aware of the new iPhone 5S & iPhone 5C Smartphones they just released and you hardly go a day without using Google, even if not Google Search maybe Gmail, YouTube, Android OS or just think of any Google product, but do you know Salesforce, Alexion pharmaceuticals or RedHat ? So slim !!! Well, lets take a look at the top 10 most innovative company from both Forbes and BCG.

Note: Only Apple, Google and Amazon make Forbes’ list, coming in at 79, 47 and 7 respectively.

ebamma 3: to the bible believing and allah believing guys in the house, how can you prove to an atheist that God really exist?

Tell Him or Her to tune is GoTV, DsTV or whatever to Discovery World and watch it for an hour - if he /she still don't believe there is God, He should tune it to Nat Geo Wild and watch it for another one Hour - if he still don't believe there is God ... Ask him to draw anything on a sheet of paper then ask him who drew it .. he will surely say - he did, now ask him how come all those creatures he has been watching just existed without anyone creating them ??
