On 27 July, 2018, I applied to the Italian Consulate for 30 days multiple entry Schengen visas for my wife and I to enable us attend a conference in Rome, and for a 3-week vacation thereafter to France, London (outside Schengen hence the request for multiple entry visas), Spain, Portugal, Switzerland, Germany and Greece. I regret not paying for VIP service at the VFS office in Lekki We were there for 5 hours! Meanwhile VIP is completed in less than 30 minutes! NEVER AGAIN! The fifteen working days have expired and we have not heard anything. is this delay normal? It used to be the norm in the past but I understand that they have computerised and sped things up a bit at the Italian Consulate.

@epotek, I applied for 6 month business visa, and my company is paying for the entire trip. the purpose of the trip is training. the document i presented are, invitation letter from the uk company i want to visit, introductory letter from my company and company bank statement of account. please, are these documents enough for my visa approval?

they look into your account balance too , i had a bitter experience 2015 . i applied with all the document but had just 2.2m in my account i was rejected but the guy beside me had 6m in his account , he didnt add much to his application but he got his visa. so when you are applying with a company account you have to show your fat account balance or rather go for tourist visa .

Good Morning, How come you own a company and you still issued ur self payslip? you even submitted an employment letter , Who emplyed who? How come a company that was established in 2017 paid tax already, how much tax did you pay and how did you evaluate ur tax ? did you aswell deduct tax on ur payslips? I want to believe you got the Eco confused with ur application, An introduction letter from your company will do, tax cert is good , cover letter is important, a companys account and savings account would be perfect for you, all companys documents, like invoices, rec3ipts article of memorandum would be fine .

Sorry for the refusal. Me think this refusal is a typical an example where the ECO is confused and unable to determine your financial ties. Basically, the ECO was worried that you earn over 400K per month. This income level is good for a visa visa. Why then did you have to complicate issue by adding a side business of N50K per month that does not significantly change your financial ties. This give an impression either you do not take your employment seriously permitting you to run a business. When ECO talk of no regular withdrawal, it meant that the ECO did not see withdrawal after salary payment each month to meet monthly expenses. In short the ECO is not clear how you are spending your salary including giving out £160 to family member. To re apply you will to explain thoroughly how you save over N2M within 6 months in line with your monthly income and expenses. This must be supported by documents. These are my thoughts.

i think he is going for business visa , he should have 2m in company account and 600k in his saving account since its business visa , what do you think ?

1. I don't understand what the ECO meant by saying your salary is transferred into your gtbank saving account. Salary is not by cash but transfer from my employers company's account to my savings account... is it a crime ?

2. No regular withdrawals- on this account within 6 months I have 179 debits and 15credits... the 9 other credits on my salary savings account is not up to 50K.. it's just mere refunds

3. 160 unspecified currency- this is the money I personally spend and give my siblings... on my personal letter I specified that 160ponds.

4. I have a business I run... I have the CAC docs and tax... I make an average of 50K per month... the 5deposits are for clients I have orders from. They pay into my biz account and I run their transactions from there... I used it in purchasing goods... I didnt even stated that I'm using my business account for my trip... I have enough balance in my saving account about 2m and 600K on biz account.

Travel history - North Africa, South Africa, East Africa and Middle East...

Please where did I get it wrong. I want to reapply and fill forms today.

HOW CAN YOU HAVE 600K IN YOUR BUSINESS ACCOUNT ? HOW MUCH IS 600K IN POUNDS?

Good afternoon, i was refused a US visa for the 4th time and i dont understand why its so. My first application was in October 2008 while i was pregnant( with hubby), the 2nd was December 2010 while pregnant again(alone) and the 3rd was 2012 with my kids but we were denied. Just on Monday 9th of July 2018, i went for another interview alone (hubby got his in 2014 when he applied alone)and was still denied again even with travel history. there's no need to tell them you have somebody there cos they know you won't ever return to Nigeria , this is bad time to apply with this new laws going on . Abeg ease your desperation. Who tell you say your destiny dey USA self ?

I like the way she presented your finances. However you are just coming back from your trip to the UK and you want to head to the US with 4 kids. That's a lot of expenses without enough room for recovery.

I don't think the VO believed your wife when she explained why the kids didn't travel with you. You could have shifted your travel plans to accommodate them since it wasn't work related. I also saw a previous post that you stated reason you are just three traveling to the UK is to reduce costs. I don't know if you meant this but I think that's what the VO also believed.

Did you apply for the US Visa before leaving for the UK? If you did then it would seem that your real target was the US. It would seem that after your refusal in January for your conference you applied to the UK with the US still in mind. This could be read as desperation.

We thank God that we did our application ourselves from invaluable knowledge we got from this forum, we saw some people that use agent that were denied too after paying agent 500k.

well , im sure you have been reading nonsense they are posting here and you went to meet VO with fear . please next time go to the embassy website , follow step by step to get all the document required geniunely , see if you will not get your visa with your travel experience , amount you earn and being that you are married .

Just yesterday I learnt and confirmed a senior colleague in the office was deported from the US 3weeks ago...

Violating B1/B2 visa condition....

He came back with Nothing.

oh my lawd. He should just live life like there's no tomorrow,there better opportunities in Nigeria .everything is just mindset and the kind of friends you keep .
