ladylco: You are still talking?
Who told you that having only Kenya stamped is a good enough gesture?
So you feel having your passport stamped with a country's visa that you didn't apply for is a good thing?
Look let me tell you, even if it's only the Kenya that was stamped on you passport, the gravity of the outcome is the same as when you have Ghana Togo, etc stamps join together.
I will tell you a story. I once met a USA immigrant applicant who had been invited for USA immi interview. As at the time to his interview, he had a fake Tanzania visa on his passport, immediately I detected this, I advise him not to attend the interview with that passport, rather he sud declare the passport damaged. and go get a new passport, then explain at the embassy the new passport number. He had very short time but he quickly got a new one done. Thank God he listened to my advise as he got his visa. Supposed he attended the interview with the passport with d fake visa, not only will he be banned, he might never visit the USA and some other A rated countries.
So my brother, your case is even more complicated becos you have already 10printed at the usa embassy with a passport with fake visa(s) (it doesn't matter how many countries visas the consequences is d same) so no escape even if you do another passport.
Maybe you may not be banned if you come out clean during the interview concerning your fake visa but the.chances of you getting the visa is very slim; you may be pardon but chances are you will definitely be refused except you explain/convince to the VO beyond reasonable doubt.
A word is enuf for the wise! Listen to the words if the elders. he should go and declare his passport missing and get another one , don't believe any agent in your life again . |

Cersei: I feel i owe this thread my transcript as a silent reader. My visa was approved today as i was handed a white sheet and my passport was retained. After greetings and pleasantries were exchanged, He asked for my passport Vo: Where are you going in the USA? Me: Washington DC, i wanna take a holiday Vo: How long? Me: 5 days Vo: What do you do? Me: I work as ** for ** Vo: What is your job description Me: Proceeded to explain my job Vo: How do you conduct from the beginning ** (relating to the job) Me: I explained and gave more insight on the job without giving away any company secret ‘I’m sorry I can’t give you more details as it is an innovative project first in Nigeria’ Vo: What countries have you been to? Me: Morrocco, Turkey and Msc in USA Vo: USA or Uk? *chuckles* as he was checking my old passports for the above country visas Me: I’m sorry, Uk *chuckles* Vo: Are you single Me: Yes Vo: Do you have any children? Me: No Vo: Handed me the white sheet and put my passport aside. ‘You’ll receive email or text for passport collection’. Me: Thanks
The whole thing took about 5 mins, He didn’t ask me for any documents and I didn’t bring any along with me. My question is can someone pick up my passport on my behalf? can you listen the document you added . |

TWoods: This sad part is that you needed a web forum to realize you should always tell the truth on visa applications. What’s worse is that this epiphany isn’t about your character and what is right, but out of fear of the consequences from governments who take the truth seriously. When it comes to Nigeria, you’d have zero problems telling lies and committing fraud I suppose. ta , don't say that I have seen people that forged every and got a visa , what the VO looks in everything applicant is your appearance and how to respond to questions , normally they know all Nigerian would love to be in USA , so they take time to read your body language and your appearance not money or documents. |

Daboomb: Dont worry Azuh, it was all done in good humor. I am sure you have also learned a lot, along the line and wont allow the same mistakes to be repeated!. Remember that at a time, it was Egun (Chicken Coop, today Egun's Garage is looking very beautiful), and then back2sender and then so many other builder-clients like that. Dont think you were singled-out because nobody has anything personal against you.
And Yes, your house wont collapse. You have good Columns. You only need to take special steps to avoid water ingress and l hope you are not in nay area prone to flooding? heart you bro . Yes linter , paravet . Can I use bricks all round? Will that help help to keep foundation going ? |

diordaves: I always think you were singled out for hash criticism with your project. Structurally, those pillars before you beefed them up would hold and serve the purpose. Your house is beautiful and some would give their right eye to have such a building. Would the contractors have done better? Yes. Will your house collapse? Yes, if you rigged it with dynamite and blow it up. Now would you want to blow up a 15 million Naira house?
Back filling is filling back your foundation; that is filling back the dug trenches and internal partitions to make the WHOLE foundation stable. Back filling is very vital and can be expensive. So some contractors would cut corners by settling for a very shallow foundation so that they would use the same laterite dug out to back-fill. I think this was what happened to your project. However, the integrity of the structure is fine. yes I love this bro , God bless you , you just told me the exact truth . |

spyder880: Thank you Sir, I actually played the stock market heavily in 2004-2009. One of the sweetest feelings in this world, is having to open your mailbox to collect cheques sent from your companies. I was heavily invested in so many good stocks, and a few worthless companies. I sold out about 80% of my holdings when Sanusi arrived with his policies which aimed at killing investments. Used the funds realised to build houses.
My target this year is a more diversified portfolio of investments. I am looking at returning some funds to the stock market while increasing my holdings on lands. A new estate in Awka is on my mind. I also plan to start the production of something since I have free lands in many locations. Agricultural products, building material and any other type of products needed daily in Nigeria. May GOD bless us all. |

diordaves: Of course the back-filling of a compound depends on the height of the foundation. Go back to page 845 to see AZUH's project with respect to the pic I've attached and ask yourself if that foundation needs back-filling. The foundation is as low as a snake's belly so no back filling needed. But with a four course foundation, you need to back fill not only to ensure stability and integrity but to ensure your compound is higher than the adopted road so water flows out away from your compound and not the other way round. whats back filling ? Please help a brother . |

Qc1: @ AZUH
I see nothing wrong with the window level. I think people might be mistaking the level of the belt & the window designs for the original window height . From the picture, I can see that it is at least 4 coaches which is the standard. I won't advise you to raise the level of your internal floor any higher than what it is right now unless of course you are having flood problem. Even at this, you may want to add rain water stopper at the entrance for solution.
Sorry, I'm not a pro. I'm just someone that learned from mistakes. thanks !! |

Timtol: i can't see the dpc slab maybe half or full even if the dpm is not in use in this, this might cos the building to be expose to moisture from both horizontal and below level,it will affect the foundation as well, most of the secrets will be seen at rainy season, how many block from the apparently rough leveling to the windows opening? the engineer doesn't know anything, I think the dpc is one block up , one block down , I'm going to use bricks , around the hose before the sketches. |
