I want to thank God almighty for this approval, it can only be God when you see yourself being issued a VISA out of multitude of people, you need to Visit the consulate to understand. Special thanks to this wonderful Family: LadyG, seyewest, yankeejjc, kapta inAfrica, Omobendel etc and all those who made their valued transcripts available here, either denial or approved.

Preparation
I read from part 1 to the last page of part 3 yesterday,


I won't bother you with other details of biometrics etc, people have explained severally here... avoid those touts pls, they told me I should staple my passport to my form etc... thank God for nairaland. A man on the queue was almost crying when he was told he won't need the coloured photocopy of his data page he made for 1k.no need for coloured print out too!


INTERVIEW
I was interviewed by one very nice VO putting on bow tie on a window I cant remember...

VO: Good morning
ME: Good morning (I just passed my passport without him asking, shebi I don read transcript here tire)
VO: where (abi na why) are you going to the US
ME: (I had READY made answer from my personal interview that answers for where and why)
I am going to Houston Texas to present my research paper at the International Conference on Intelligent Computing and ........ VO cuts in
VO: International Conf..... like he was checking his system
ME: I pronounce am slowing for am.
VO: where is your abstract
ME: ( I never ever expected this and didn't go with it, but I sharply adjusted cos of training I got from this wonderful forum) told him: I didn't come with it but I can give you a summary of what the paper is about..
VO: OK
ME: na so I start o... the title of my paper is BIG DATA: Theories, framework bla bla bla. Concluded with " I actually designed a framework for the adoption of the unstructed part of big data..." that caught his attention.
VO: Tell me about the framework
ME: truthfully I went blank but later came back to my senses because I didn't expect it... Na so I begin explain, stated the five levels of my framework bla bla bla.
VO: How does it work?
ME: Gave examples and instances ( not even sure I was correct but I was so bold, shebi na me write the paper na) All through, the VO was just typing.
VO: How much is you employer giving you for the trip ( I stated them as sponsor)
ME: told him
VO: How many years have you been with them?
ME: 4yrs, 8 months, will be five years in July.
VO: How long will you be staying?
ME: 1 week.
VO: Are you married?
ME: Yes am married and we have a beautiful daughter together, will be... stated so so age on so so day
VO: what is the name of your wife?
ME: surprised at the question but stated it clearly.
VO: Have you travelled out of the country before?
ME: answered NO. See my previous post.

Final question that almost finished me...
VO: what is the difference between quick sort, merge sort and heap sort...
ME: ( I was shocked, when was the last time I studied data structures) I started blabbing... but then i gained stamina to explain the little I know in details...

VO: congratulations bla bla bla and gave white paper

ME: shocked and said thank you and started looking for exit like all was a dream.

No doc was checked, infact the 1st point before the biometrics, the woman told me I will be needing only my passport, then returned the ds_160, gt receipt and appointment confirmation to me.

I will update if I remember anything. That Vo na olodo . Congrats

Me: I am visiting my younger brother and his family and also go for vacation.
VO: where in us are you going o stay
Me: commerce city, Colorado
VO: (looking intensely at his computer as if there is something he is seeing there) what do you do
Me: I verify and authorise the issuing and posting of invoices and vouchers, I am in charge of costing the company products and raw materials, I prepare the financial accounts for both internal and external users.
VO: what do your company do
Me: our product is called premix. Its a raw material for food and feed producing companies.
VO: are you married
Me: yes
VO: do you have children
Me: yes, one. By the way, I will be going with my family.
VO: (stopped typing and looked at me as if I have hit the jackpot) do they have visa
Me: yes
VO: can I have their passport
Mesad with my hands spread wide) I didn't come with it. (I can't help but blame myself for coming to the interview without their passport)
VO: OK ( pass a paper and a pen to me) write their name
Me: (in my heart; thank God) wrote their names
VO: ( looked at his computer again. I guess he is seeing something in there). Which church do attend
Me: ( now I know what he was looking at. My first denial and the reason) seventh day adventist. ( its the church general conference I wanted to attend that was denied)
VO: what do say you do again. I told him again
VO: what again do you your company do. I told him.
VO: okay, your visa has been approved. Go to where you filled on monday to collect your visa.
Me: thank you.

Note: like it has been said here severally, be sincere and consistance.

Mr Azuh e be like say truth they wetin u they talk, if the VO no answer your greeting e be like say na already red card so i go say if u greet and him no answer call to his attention that you are greeting him

sometimes the VO isn't into pleaantries, they prefer going ahead with the real matters at hand, ( No time to waste ) since there is less time for an applicant considering the little time available.

the VO suspected the fellow she is always going to visit is her boyfriend not uncle, he didn't bother on she being single or married. Appearance matter but not smell ooo

@AZUH which one odour again? if u like buy $1000 perfume. The VO is protected by a glass. He can perceive anything. "Purely Official relationship" the VO never went too deep the way she took it. He didn't bother to ask if u are married or single.

Pharmacology:
That is false, you are screened and there is no way your halitosis or body odour can be perceived. People who were well dressed were refused, people with significant travel histories not visit to morroco, Togo and Burkina were refused. You just can't understand, but just know there is always a pre-assessment of your ds-160 the day before your interview. I just checked my visa status and it states case created February 28 which was yesterday

Applicant: Good morning
VO: no response
Applicant: Hello good morning
VO: Good morning to you, passport please
VO: looks through passport and asked What do you do in the UK?
Applicant: not sure she heard clearly asked What did you say please? (note she has a 5yr UK visa which is only 2months old)
VO: sort of smacking the visa asked again, What do you do in the UK?
Applicant: I visit the UK mainly on holiday
VO: who do you visit?
Applicant: My Uncle
VO: Where are you going in the US?
Applicant: Colorado
VO: Why?
Applicant: For a women conference organized by bleep bleep and it’s tagged bleep bleep
VO: cuts in, You work with bleep bleep coy!
Applicant: Yes I do
VO: Who owns it?
Applicant: My overall Boss Mr bleep bleep
VO: Are you related to him?
Applicant: no I’m not, we only have a purely official relationship
VO: How long have you been working there?
Applicant: it’l be 6yrs by September.
VO: What do you work as?
Applicant: I am the Client Service Manager, and being a key contact person between my organization and her clients, my duties include but not limited to bleep bleep explained duties
VO: You are not eligible blah blah blah and hands her the blue paper.
Please what do you think happened or didn’t happen at this interview? I couldn’t give her any opinion though.

Why will she do that? This is not Nigeria where everything goes... he gave out his international passport for fraudulent activities with his blessing and you want her to wish him luck?
