Again Nigerian events will now be trending in these countries u mentioned
Bringing d ills of FG to a wider audience.
Twitter knows this.
Let it trend there. As long as it can't be used to mobilize, coordinate hoodlums and incite hate in Nigeria, better for it.

The slave mentality consists on always seeking approval from the west.

Tinubu and Atiku are the 2 men that can finance a presidential campaign right now in Nigeria.

Posts like this from a well known PDP influencer generated thousands of likes to show how criminality is being celebrated online in Nigeria.

Politics › Re: FG: Twitter Is Showing Little Enthusiasm Toward The Dialogue It Initiated by ba7man(m):
See the free speech Twitter was promoting....

These are the opinion makers, the influencers encouraging their followers to burn down establishments in Lagos state that finance the infrastructures that attracted them in the first place.

I still wonder what Tinubu did to these people to make them so mad.......but they don't get mad at Diezani for stealing their future.

When it's an illiterate political thug and a hateful liar/anarchist That's leading their cause.

Oh my......some people's blood pressure will increase with these pics.

Instead of some people to attract such projects to their region, they're busy destroying it to air their grievances.

These are the self acclaimed bravest, most intelligent people in Nigeria.

Well, people waiting for free food donated more than 2 million spent on treating the injured courtesy of your non-brutal, friendly neigbourhood police, their cause got recognized the world over, and tomorrow, they (we) can beat their chest and proudly tell their children that they did their best to fix this hellhole of a country. What can you say you have done other than sit in your cubicle and defend criminals and your slave masters?
As long as the end result of your actions was the near burning down of the country, all what you're saying has no meaning to me.

Having a right to freedom of speech does not mean you should misuse it. Anyone with common sense knows that talking anyhow, whether in the streets or not, is definitely an abuse of that right. Your right ends where someone else’s begins.
Lots of people lack that common sense you're talking about in Nigerian social media.

Their idea of "Freedom of speech" is being able to spread fake news, incite anarchy and insult all and sundry that share seperate views to theirs.

Haha, well everyone isn't like you. What makes you think I am not 'street', or even better 'connected'. Keep spewing trash sha. Timidity like this and failure to stand up for your rights is why Nigeria is where it is. I can bet you were nowhere to be found during endsars protests, and will be nowhere to be found on June 12. It's the nature of your likes...slavery.
Why should i be found in the streets screaming myself hoarse under the sun, blocking roads preventing people access to free movement, waiting in the sun for free food, eventually going on a rampage, destroying and burning my city's infrastructure?? .......... all in the name of protesting police brutality??

Deep in your heart you know it was directed at the Igbos. After all everyone here knows Buhari do not like the Igbos.
The Govts that "Love" the Igbos didn't commission a borehole in the Southeast.

The Govt that "hates" the Igbos is constructing the 2nd Niger bridge and re-building an Expressway.

That's Ironic.

Did Igbos ever love Buhari to start with??

Shut up angry
In real life, in my presence, you would want to say that to my face because you realize there are consequences for this "Free speech".

But you can say it online behind your keyboard because you feel protected.

That same responsibility you applied in reality is what people should transfer online.

Being online gives people the freedom to throw inhibition to the wind and be careless with talk.

We've done it to the point of almost destroying our country.

Oh boy we are in the era of the power of keyboard ok, we are no longer in the 70s and 80s, so you can't refuse people economic growth and also deprive them of freedom of speech in this tech age bro, it's impossible
When You're not an automated call response.

I'm sure you weigh your words more carefully in reality than online.

That's the responsibility with free speech you've applied. People just need to apply the same responsibility online.

There's still Instagram, Nairaland and other apps to express free speech. It doesn't start and end on Twitter.

Nooo..... don't sit online and be forming freedom of speech behind your phone. Go into the real world and try talking with the same carelessness you do online and see what happens to you.

I'm sure you're very calm and reserved in real life because you know the repercussions of careless speech you try online compared to reality.

True, and that's why the idiot that occupies the highest office in the land should not be making genocidal threats online.

cool
They made a threat against the "Unknown Gunmen" (Let's pretend as if we don't know who they are) and some people automatically think the threat is against them.

That's a way of knowing the people who were in silent support of the recent killings of policemen, burning of police stations, ptoperties, INEC offices, assasination of Gulak, top INEC official and that judge.

They identified with the threat even when it was not directed at them.

Free speech doesn’t mean irresponsible speech.
That's what many of these people complaining take as "Free Speech".

It's really sickening how media houses release inciting fakenews on Twitter, spread the message, get tens of thousands of likes............ then retract or apologize with a few lines, get 10s of likes after the damage has been done........ then rinse and repeat the act over and over again.

We hide our irresponisibilities and criminal acts under "Democracy" , " Rule of law" and "Freedom of speech" too much in this country.
