First, Women "age' faster than men but live longer.
Secondly, a Girl reaches puberty faster than a Boy, Women also reaches Menopause faster than Men.

The above are reasons why a man would likely marry a woman that he is a little bit older than.
I have seen "elderly people" in their fifties (about same age), coming to court for divorce! WHY? The woman claimed that her husband of almost thirty years, wants to "sex her to death"!

I pity both of them but the truth is that The man is still very virile (at 55, most men just dey start sef!) while the woman has entered menopause in the last five years!

if such man has married a woman he is older than (say between 5 -10yrs), by the time she is entering Menopause, he is also "slowing down " and with a little sacrifice, they can both age gracefully!
