My only advice to you guys, stop all these permutations, nervousness, calculating chances, just pray. The highest thing someone can do at this stage is to pray. Someone being from your state will not dampen your chances of getting the job, all it matters is destiny.

yes, they didnt perform well in the test bit they were having a very good CV, DPR felt they should be given prefenrential treatment.

i never wanted to comment on this FCC thingy, but what some guys said about the list being with fcc is true, but the other guy that said COC was not issued because FCC chairman travelled for burial is part of what is delaying the issue but not not really what is delaying the COC. there are some names missing in the list and FCC are questioning DPR "why you go do this to us"? if you know what i mean you know. but nevertheless, COC will be issued after sallah break, if DPR comply to the demands of FCC. this is what i learnt, you may decide to agree or disagree. all things being equal, May God help us

you are right, what caught my eye is 115,000 annual housing allowance. DPR housing is in millions annually.

guys this letter is genuine, the department HSE was not advertised, it was probably replacement. but one good thing about this letter is that, we now know how much is the salary. 266,000 as salary plus other allowances.

i believe in what onyiridike said that they may be looking at something beyond your answers to their questions, i was lucky to answer all the questions with 100% accuracy, because all the technical questions are a simple yes/no questions that a 100 level undergraduate can answer, and i was asked 3 current affairs questions and i answered them all correctly. i was like is this an interview?

i like ur analysis but u got it wrong in some places.
assuming d least slot for any state is 5. all first 5 in each state r picked. then some post will be vacant. if lagos and gombe(just assuming) slot is 5 , dat is all for them. those vacant post will b filled by the next minimum across other states. lets say d next minimum is 8. other post will b filled by d next 3 rank across all states with 8 and above slots. the process goes to d next minimum, and so on until all quota are satisfied. i hope u can make sense of this.

I experienced this stress between 2010-2013 during nnpc recruitment. I started a thread on naijahotjobs that had more than 1000 pages.

After a long wait, the letters came.


It was a terrible experience as many did not get the job, that includes myself.

Pls do not put all your hopes in this, be ready to accept whatever comes.

Nnpc started the process well, the first two stages were on merit. Final selection was mared with serious corruption.

I guess they do that this days so that people will not complain about the process.


If you know anyone, pls follow up. If you don't pls pray.

Many people who comment here have talked to one or two persons about getting help.

When they finally get their letters, they won't tell you how they did it. If you have not, pls talk to God.

When the letters finally come, a lot of people will be shocked. I almost got hypertension because I didn't make it.

Looking back at my performance at the interview I cried like a child.

It was God that helped me...

a word is enough for the wise. any body who thinks an agency like Dpr will recruit based on merit is a joke, i dont have anyone to help me but God, but still waiting paitently for the recruitment to end so as to clear the thoughts of DPr off my mind. no any merit based recruitment will last 2 years to complete, that alone tells you something is happening underground. director of dpr is said to be in his village enjoying his retirement benefits, but he is still serving as director due to influence of his ogas, look every nook and cranny of Nigerian enclave is stinking with corruption, to even get teaching job in nigeria is untill you know someone not to talk of job of DPr magnitude. dont take Dpr for head like gala, just zero your mind and expect the worst, when it work out in your favour then give thanks to God almighty. definately some will get in on merit, but the odds are very very high.

If the list was to be updated on portal tomorrow it means the list will be sent back to SNAPNET, and I don't think so cos if it get to snapnet I will definitely know for sure.. so we should just expect emails and calls just as speculated..

yes, one reason i dont believe our portals will be updated, because you dont expect Dpr to hand such a sensitive list to a third party. even if our portals will be updated it will be after mails were sent to successful candidates. this is my opinion

saying "i know chairman" doesnt mean you really know him, very very few people know these guys. and you have to know them personally for them to divulge such information to you.and i believe few people have access to commisioners at state level. thats why you see people contradictiing themselves about COC because the FCC staffs they rely on were not in the joint meeting when COC was/wasn't issued. once they see the commisioners coming out they will just speculate and tell their wards wats up without first hand knowledge of what transpired in the meeting.

BIG yes, not just chairman. even your state commisioner can tell you if you are in or out. they have access to the final list

Is it a list of those recruited (names) that was sent to FCC or just figures? I. E the number of people maybe grouped per state?

normally a recruiting agency will first sit with FCC and be given guidlines on how the selection will comply with federal charachter rule, after selection the list will be sent back to fcc to check wether Federal charachter was adhered to, if all things being equal then CoC will then be issued. yes names of candidates according to state will be sent to FCC not just figures.
