Anytime I remember sey na dis APL be my most realistic hope to sort out plenty tins wey hang for my head, my heart go just begin beat carelessly.

many people got to know (fromDpr hqtrs) that succesful candidates will resume in the month of june, nobody will give you APL and expect you to report tomorrow, atleast you will be given nothing less than three weeks to make up your mind wether to resign from your present job to take the offer. thats where the "before 10th june" came on board. whether the list is at FCC, EFCC, or being deliberated at FEC meeting in white house, June is the month, so chill guys. those saying before 10th of june are very correct, no one knows the exact date but before 10th of june is highly likely .

you guys like causing trouble, you people didnt even know why people were swearing by their ancestors that before 10th june successful candidates will be called. many people got to know that new intakes will definately start work in june, and there should be atleast 3 weeks between the day you will be given offer and resumption, becos many people are presently working and they have to resign in order to take the offer from DPR, wether the list is with FCC EFCC, BOI before the end of june, new intakes will resume, unless something happened out of ordinary. when minister of petroleum said "dpr were given go ahead to employ 700 new staffs, 400 will be recruited in FIRST part of the year while the remaining will be recruited later in the year" these are his words. he didnt say first quater but rather first part of the year. no need to argue much, it will eventually end this june by God grace.

NPA have called their successful candidates last week, they are to officially resume on 25th june. and we applied the same time in 2016, did interview the same time just a week difference, are you thinking what im thinking?

God bless you for this brother. I didn’t want to post this before, but its better I do to clear some doubts. The last time I had a conversation about pay and allowances with one of the 2013 GTs was around 2014/2015, can’t remember vividly. And the monthly allowances he mentioned include meal, GV, field, shift and some other I can’t remember. The upfront includes security, accommodation, COLA and some others too. Like I said earlier all these depend on location and department. Mind you, these allowances are not 5k or 10k, they are thick. So when I say you will earn close to that range, I know what I am saying. The meal allowance alone is more than some people’s salaries.
Why are people lobbying for the job if it isn’t juicy?

just tell us the exact amount like what jayjay quoted for diploma candidates, because i believe if diploma candidates will earn 140k then GT will not earn around 400k. but all in all DPR is a good place to work, evev if the pay eventually turn out to be a bit disappointing many people will pick the job including me. infact many people can take pay cut from their present job to join DPR. the prestige alone attached to being a DPR employee is something, and the money will come with time. lets just stop this debate and pray for this week to be a life changer to us and our family amen. when you get a job of DPR magnitude in Nigeria, wether with connection or by merit just raise your hand and praise God almighty, cos you are favoured wallahi.

yes, what you said is very correct. the selection is solely on quota system, thats why the selection is very fair. no matter how high your score is it still depends on who scored higher or less than you, the fight is not who the best is, but rather who is the best from his state, each state has the opportunity to present their best candidates, and mind you in a situation whereby your state has a slot each for a lawyer, geologist, engineers, but out of the 100 people that got to the interview only one geologist made it to the interview, no matter how the candidate failed woefully in the interview will still get the job, while the engineers will undergo serious scrutiny in order to find the best among them. thats federal charachter for you.

You seem oblivious of the fact that some, if not majority, of the candidates will not be participating in the fast. And for those who observe it, they are still obligated to go to work during the fasting, then what is the big deal about going to collect the Apl during that period?

i dont have any info regarding this recruitment at this stage, but i believe if successful candidates are not called next week then it will be in june after fasting. fasting is coming up mid next week, and i dont think shakoor will stress himself during fasting or stress successful candidates to pick their APL in lagos while fasting. so i believe it is next week. may GOd make us be among successful ones, amen

Just so you know.... FCC has written officially to DPR to question their delay in the graduate trainee recruitment . For those saying that certificate of compliance has been issued.. Secondly is, the slot for us here is 320, not 400 as speculated .

The only thing that beat my imagination is that my contact at federal character Commission said they are yet to receive any list from DPR hence, certificate of compliance is yet to be issued. He also said it doesn't take much to issue the cert, maybe one day is enough.

It's also important to understand that this information was fetched today and it could be true or false... Hence, it's optional to believe/ disbelieve. But I'm 100% a believer, an optimist
