@jorgan any hope of payment?from the offer sent to me newcastle university i saw other options but am afraid to use the master card option which after the payment then mail to finsery-cashiers@newcastle.edu.au which I don't know if the school will notice a payment transfer through Master card.Please any head way?i will never be in support of bank cheque for 8weeks to process it.please any body knows any means of paying tuition

Bro... Think of pathways to universities, all these universities have colleges that u can apply to study a diploma course that lead to bsc 573 and its svp u can still meet up they are fast, I got three offers all 10,000auds per semeste.... Try it out u will sail on

Hello house, I need some advice here plz...I submitted my student visa application class 572 SVP on 27th of Oct with Teleperformance Lagos..the application got to Pretoria on 30th same month/week. But ever since then I haven't received any feedback from the embassy...my commencement date as stated on my ecoe is 1st of December and I indicated 28th of this month as my departure date....i mailed them on Monday and I was replied immediately stating that my application is still under process. Iam yet to do my medicals sef.... also waiting for their directive before doing that...today is 19th my departure date is 28th commencement date 1st of december.....i need advice and opinions pls...what step do you think I can take @ this stage?..

Finally got a feedback from them on the 27th of nov with a Refusal note


Reasons for refusal is as stated below

1). Generic SOP I.e not specific
i guess my sop wasn't explanatory enough

2). Irrelevant intended course
I have BSC in public health and i combined 2 science related courses and a management course for Advance Diploma in Management Certificate (572) class. courses are as below
(i) CERTIFICATE III IN AGED CARE

(ii) DIPLOMA IN COMMUNITY SERVICE WORK

(iii) ADVANCE DIPLOMA IN MANAGEMENT which is the main course others are just prerequisites and i feel MANAGEMENT is required in all organisations.


3). No work experience in Health Science, and courses selected to justify reasons to undertake the courses i intend to practice in Aussy.
i actually indicated Teaching of integrated science subject in a secondary school as my work experience.

4). (GTE) Genuine Temporary entrant issue

As i indicated that am a share-holder in a family company with proof and also indicated am in a relationship but not legally engaged.


NOW AM PLANNING TO GET A NEW eCOE AGAINST FEBRUARY Admission.

I NEED THE HOUSE TO HELP ME PLAN HOW AND WHEN TO RE-APPLY SO AS TO AVOID THE ABOVE MISTAKE FROM REPEATING ITSELF as am anticipating the FEBRUARY Admissions.

I NEED YOU GUYS SUPPORT AND OPINIONS AS I WANT TO CARRY THE HOUSE ALONG THIS TIME.

What a glorious way to start the month of December, awesome, awesome and thanks to the Almighty God is all I can say. I just got my mail confirming the grant of My Visa.
I am indeed grateful to God.
My only regret is that I didn't apply with my family because I didn't know about SVP. I have applied before I knew about the fact I don't need to submit proof of funds.
My question is please what do I need to do now to apply for my family, I trust God to do this as soon as possible. I pray for everyone still expecting, you shall all receive your goodnews in Jesus name. Amen

Frontloading (who came up with this word sef? ) medicals is allowed if you are yet to submit your application.

If you submit your application without frontloading(that word again ) medicals, then you are supposed to wait for them to give you the go ahead.

@babahafusaa, if I were the one in your shoes, I'd mail them again asking for updates. I'm not telling you what to do, I'm just saying what I would do.

If you however decide to mail them, make sure you state your full name, Visa Class, Passport Number, VLN(to be found in the receipt given to you at Teleperformance), the date of submission at "Teleperformance, Lagos - Nigeria" and that you are under SVP(you are under SVP right? Otherwise your visa will take 3months or so under AL3).

The first mail was last week Monday iand they replied by stating " Please note that your visa is still under processing" on Friday again i.e 20th of this month I sent another mail quoting all the dates and info as mentioned by 2posh in my write up but yet to hear anything from them till now..... so that's d situation..... I agree with GodwinGodwin. At this point, you should just be calm and turn to God(or whatever you believe in) and hope for the best. Hopefully, you'll get it tomorrow. Did I hear Amen?

I have to ask, why didn't you preload your medicals? It has been said here countless times to do medicals before submitting especially in this type of your case where your resumption is fast approaching It's not a case of jumping the gun, the embassy actually says that you can. This is why researching is important.

Even testimonies of others on this thread who got their visas show most of them preloaded their medicals. Those that didn't preload also stated how long it took before they were told to do medicals and then getting the visa after another long wait. It baffles me that we sometimes choose to cause these delays by ourselves

I'm happy to announce that I arrived Melbourne safely today. My trip was smooth. IOM personnel received me in dubai. had another short stop over in Singapore. My bags were not opened by border patrol here. I declared my goods in d passenger card n during security check here my bags were sniffed b dogs.. I was scared oh because dogs scare me. But they were nice generally n organised. Anyway I'm still at d beautiful airport looking around. I pray this country favours us all.
