Let Atiku go and debate with his mates.

PMB can't share the same podium with a known fugitive.

And lastly, to what end is the debate? Will the debate make frustrated idiotic pigs vote PMB or will it make progressives support the fugitive?

PMB, no fall my hands by attending that useless debate please.

You can quote me to express your frustration as usual, Kokan aiye!

Politics2019 Presidential Election: I Am Not One Of Them by BabaPissmaker(op): 6:30pm On May 26, 2018
I AM NOT ONE OF THEM
I have the opportunity of watching and listening Omoyele Sowore speak on various for about his 2019 presidential ambition and I have been worn over. I saw his interview on Channels TV where he held his ground in the face of thorough questioning by Seun Okinbaloye, I even saw the crossfire at the Fresh FM Ibadan between him and the Minister for Communications Mr. Bayo Shittu, while the Minister was struggled to communicate a single point or allow any form of civilized communication to take place Mr Yele still came out of that encounter smelling of roses. I have listened to his highly ambitious plans and promises if he made it into office, I have taken note of his passion, energy, intellect and academic qualifications as a past University of Lagos Student Union Government and a Masters degree holder in public administration from the Ivy league Columbia university in the United States. I also take cognizance of his work as a human rights and rule of law activities even since the early days of Nigeria’s fight for democracy in 1999.
I have heard the constant assertion by Nigeria’s political realist who claim that a candidate outside the PDP/APC dualism can never win the exalted office. My answer to them is that they should keep on inadvertently trumpeting the agenda of the political elite in the country, that is after all, what the ruling class want us to think and believe. In France just a few months ago Emmanuel Macron managed to unseat a two party Hegemony that had held sway in that nation for over a decade, the controversy that upstaged one of them was a mere wrongful employment of a family member. Our own leader have trailer loads of worse and more heinous controversies yet we keep insisting they are untouchable.
I registered as a voter for the first time in 2014 solely to join the train of change and vote for Gen. Buhari. Every day, I thank God academic engagements did not allow me exercise my Franchise in that election. I would have had to apologise to the families of the catholic priests and Benue residents that have been murdered recklessly by killer herdsmen, I’d have had to apologise to Leah Sharibu and her parents for being let down by their country simply for their faith, I’d have heard to apologise to the millions of Nigerians who have lost their jobs and means of livelihood because of harsh and archaic economic policies of this administration.
I do not look to the PDP to provide succor from this inglorious mess that my country has found itself, after all as the British would say the difference between them and APC is all very much of muchness. I do not look to Atiku for salvation from a system that he helped build or President Obasanjo who has been intimately involved in every Presidential decision we’ve made in the country since 1999, I’m not prepared to gamble that Baba Iyabo will get it right this time (6th time lucky perhaps). I am thoroughly impressed with Governor Dankwambo’s qualification but unfortunately he is still a part of the old establishment. Mr. Kingsley Moghalu is another excellent choice, he has everything going for him but I am being swayed by the radicalism of Mr. Sowore, my country need Alutaism, the kind introduced into the polity by Saharareporters.
Mrs. Oby Ezekwesili’s red card movement have earned my respect with their doggedness and passion for the country, no doubt they continue to play a key role in our polity as a nation now and going forward but Democracy is not a football game, you do not send-off a president for his avalanche of infractions and leave his seat vacant, so I have signed up for the green card movement. My green card is my PVC, I am the Howard Webb, Micheal Oliver and the Perluigi Collina on Election Day 2019. I will send out Buhari and his cohorts and send on Yele Sowore and his horde of hungry and angry agitators. That is afterall what the dead engine of this sleeping giant needs, a tricky and determined mechanic that will cut wires with his teeth and jumpstart the vehicle. If enough of us decide to waste our vote on a dark horse, let those who submit their votes to the bull in a china shop be assured that we will all leave through the continuous excuses, regression, mudslinging and global humiliation that will undoubtedly come with it.
I am not a political jobber, analyst or influencer, I have no encounter with Omoyele Sowore or his team. I am simply a young who continues to suffer on many fronts because of the sins of voters before me and who can see no end in sight but rather whose predicaments if something radical is not done. I have decided to adopt as my mantra that gentleman Mr. Jimi Agbaje’s campaign slogan in one of his ill-fated runs for governorship office in Lagos, I AM NOT ONE OF THEM. When it comes the naivety, cowardice and nonchalance of the average Nigerian voter, I WILL NOT BE ONE OF THEM. When they troop to go and select the lesser of two evils so that we can spend another four years gnashing our teeth and counting our losses, I WILL NOT BE ONE OF THEM. God speed Mr. Omoyele Sowore and God bless the federal republic of Nigeria.

Huh to be sincere I am jealous.... Lalasticlala I think we all need to see this.

We need to realise Nigeria can't fund all its universities to World Class. We need to pick 6(one from each region) flagship universities like the ivy leagues or C9 of China and fund it excessively like Ghana funds the university of Ghana, so that those universities can in turn help to solve some of our top most national problems.
Those universities would be
1) Mandated to reduce their various enrollment sizes to NUC recommended capacities.

2) Encouraged to put more emphasis on postgraduate/research education.

3) Allowed to determine its fees in line with an agreed aggregate with FG(Not expensive but not outrageously low)

4) Encouraged to do away with Catchment policies and Elds consideration for undergraduate enrollment and staff recruitment.

5) Encouraged to remain comprehensive universities but with a degree of speciality in certain disciplines e.g UI for Medicine/Surgery, ABU for Military research, UNN for renewable energy.

6) Mandated to do away with ASUU

7) Encouraged to tap into industry partnership for more income.

cool Encouraged to create an important metric that assess researchers relevance in Scopus and Thompson Reuters web of science and base staff promotion on it.

9) Excessively funded by govt. Recommendation would be to allocate additional funds of 25 billion per university.

10) Mandated to publish annual independent financial audit report by either PwC or KPMG which would be posted on the University website as done by many world class university.

11) Encouraged to have a strong and updated internet presence to boost visibility of the universities. UI and UNN websites looks like junk.

12) Encourage collaboration with research universities in developing nations and developed countries(dealing with issues pertaining to developing nations). This would also increase the chances of getting millions of dollars in grant from foreign organisations.

13) Individual FG ministeries should recommend research work to the university of choice as they deem fit. E.g Rice production in Nigeria with genetic modification(to carry b-carotene for vit A production) aimed at eradicating commonplace blindness in Northern Nigeria. In the event the project is too costly for govt or the university, the university having requisite facility, infrastructure, processes and international collaborations would be able to attract billions of dollars from generous foreign organisations. Case study; Oxford currently has a 5 bill USD grant from Gates foundation to develop C4 rice.

13) Govt set up an apolitical technical committee and assess the performance of these universities across their core mandate, research relevance, international outlook and rankings(especially Times and ARWU)

So that would be 150 billion more for our flagship universities. Considering the fact that the Nigerian senate takes just about that amount as its annual budget then that shouldn't be too hard for Nigeria to afford.
This kind of insight is rare on nairaland. Very good ideas, it can only be implemented by a committed and intelligent government though.

BusinessRe: 5 Lessons I Have Learnt From Earning Over N6 Million On Fiverr by BabaPissmaker(m): 7:37am On Jul 24, 2017
mrphysics:
This is great, I have learned a lot. Though I haven't gotten to your level, I think I on the way.

MY EXPERIENCE

I joined fiverr on February this year, but didn't take it serious. So my gig impression was going down. I was writing for someone on fiverr, I helped him make some money on fiverr why he was faithful to paying me. After service in April this year, is saw I needed to get back to service, so I started the fiverr experience in May. I knew the time that buyers request was updated daily, so I'm always there. I send offers, always between first to fifth. Anything beyond that, I do not waste my time. Before may ended, I made $223, well that was little but it meant much. As I exchanged to get 78k. It was a good experience. I moved on to edit my gig, still trusted on buyers request, in June, I was growing, and I became a level one seller on 27th June, with a June earning of $356 when converted, it was above 100k. I knew I was coming. With a parallel 5 star rating, the impression grow and my gig is featured on the front page of fiverr eBook writing, rated in terms of relevance. So I waved goodbye to buyers request.

This month of July was great, I made over 180k, July earning of $582. Lol, I knew I was growing.

My lesson
I don't use article rewriting tools, I don't write stories, and I give every writing my best. I try to give clients a value for their money. Some end up giving tips of about $44, $20, $10, $5.

Who should join fiverr

Those who are smart. You must not be intelligent, you just need to be smart.
Question for you please. Did you also use a foreign ip or Nigerian ip to register

What a cheering news. But I wish to ask a question; up until yesterday night. 11pm precisely there is still an argument going on about the true state of the police officer. Some say he is alive but lost an eye other say he is dead and gone. I am very confused about it. A picture of him was posted on hospital bed but no picture of his burial. What is truly going on? I want the official statement of the police made public. Some people want to contribute but they are not sure. That is according to what I have been seeing especially on NL.
According to his wife's interview in Punch newspaper, he died from gunshot wounds sustained in the shoot-out. He was buried in april.

The whole body of science is out to decieve us that the earth is a sphere. Kai!!! You expect us to believe ur theory that there is a ring of ice sorrounding the world and antartica is barred from being visited by some treaty somewhere, but the explanations for sunrise and sunset and the difference in seasons which ur geography teacher slaved to teach you have been discarded by you guys.

What surprised me mainly is not the fact that the OP stumbled on conspiracy theorist online and took them for their words after sleeping through science class while he was in school. It is the fact that dozens of people are supporting his claims. So we have so many ignorant people on nairaland. The earth os flat sorrounded by a wall of ice in antartica. Unbelievable. So what happens if in try to travel to the end of the earth to see the wall of ice myself?. I will be shot dead by scientists so as not to expose them abi? An understanding of basic science would have cleared a lot of this misconceptions.

The sad truth....

I've often held that a few smart people will continue to make money especially in hard times. A few facts show I am right. How do I mean?

Multichoice/DSTV comes up with a bunch of crap/lowlifers bunched in a house for 90 days. Open subscription lines for the unintelligent to "vote" and we still do. They offer a prize of N25 million to its winner and some cash (plus maintenance fee/logistics for all contestants and support staff to the tune of about N100-150 million. Allow you to vote multiple times at N30/vote. The receive about 20 million votes (or more) and make a cool N400 million in profit.

Mind you, you still need to subscribe to their services to watch and vote. They target the jobless and the dunces. Because they know you're unintelligent enough to watch it, form alliances and even discuss it. Whoever wins, walks away without knowing you even exist.

Have you asked yourself, why don't they have such shows in Asia? Why was it stopped in Europe? Are you the only lazy one to come and watch jobless people sit around for three whole months? Cos if these people had a job... Even if it pays just N50,000 a month, you won't resign to go and compete in such tomfoolery.

Wake up young people and be productive... Big Brother Naija is just another way of telling you you're dumb .... And you're agreeing and nodding your head!
It's a big problem when a man thinks he is smarter than he really is. People that voted this contestants did so with their money and not yours. Life is easy, people should have access to entertainment if you can not fathom the value in entertainment it's nobody's fault. Asia and Europe that you and your ilk are quick to mention have much more entertainment shows than Africans. Pls apply wisdom before talking next time. Omo Ode

PoliticsThe Hypocrisy Of El-rufai by BabaPissmaker(op): 11:24am On Mar 05, 2017
Kaduna state Governor Mallam Nasir El-Rufai has been making waves with his strong stance against 'online' misinformation. He has gone as far throwing people in jail for twitter posts. The most popular victim being Audu Maikori who was thrown in jail for tweeting about the killings in southern Kaduna under El-Rufai's watch. After the online furore, maikori was released but the governor came out to say that Maikori would be prosecuted by the state.
This no-nonsense stance by El-Rufai might look appealing and there are many fans of this his approach who claim there should be no room for peddling of false news. What this people fail to realise is that no tyrant in the world ever claims to be an enemy of truth rather they all claim the information being put out by their opponents are false then use that guise to silence critics and opponents alike.
The saddest part of this is that by his own yardstick El-Rufai should have been cooling his heels in Kirikiri maximum prison right now after his extremely untrue and highly inflammatory comments in 2014 about then president Goodluck Jonathan sending snipers after him. Or maybe El-Rufai spoke the truth back then.
