Do you know a trusted aboki that one can rake to bank to verify if its real
To be on a safer side, take the Aboki to any nearest branch of your bank to make the deposit, if the money is confirmed by the cashier, then you can now transfer the naira equivalent to his Naira account..some banks rejects old € notes..make sure the notes are from 2012 and above
Good luck

please can you explain better and also at rate did you get your euros.
Got € from Aboki @ 404, deposited everything at once, each bank with their own policies
A friend of mine wanted to use Gtbank, he was told he can only deposit €1000 per week, he later used UBA where he was told that the minimum amount he must have in his € account should be €75,I used access bank, 0 balance and the money was transferred once but I was charged €80 for transfer charges and the money got to my Fintiba within 48 hours

Try GTBank. Open an Euro account with them. Go to Aboki and Change your Naira to Euro, then go and deposit into your euro account. Then transfer to Fintiba or what ever bank you’re using. But you’ll pay VAT o. Also, how much time do you have? You can’t deposit more than €1k in a week.
He can use Access bank,I used access bank they don’t have any limit,I deposited the whole amount at once and transferred it to my Fintiba, took 2 days to get my Fintiba

Congratulations Babatea. I'm also planning to forward my documents this week. Considering the fact that deadline is 15th June which is this weekend. Would you advise that i still go ahead as i don't want to waist any money at this point. if yes, which courier service would you advise?

I’d advice you to give it a try...there’s no harm in trying and it’s open admission...if you think you meet all the requirements, give it a shot...I used TNT, they charged #12,100 and my documents got there 4 working days

Good evening house,
I have a question,I have all my documents ready for certification and I’m applying through uni-assist for winter intake,do I have to wait when the admission portal is opened before sending my documents to uni-assist for VPD? because some of the schools requires one to generate the application form to be submitted to uni-assist,I don’t know how to go about it,I really need someone to help me shed more light on this.
Thanks

Deustchemann:

Refer to the quoted post below for answers to the first part of your question.
Thanks very much
I also need someone to clarify me on the second aspect of the questions I asked

The documents you need depend on the school you're applying to, but I know certification is needed for your Bachelor certificate, transcript, English proficiency test/letter and Waec certificate..

The others (CV, SOP) don't need certification. You can send originals of that. I don't think you need to certify your NYSC certificate too.

The bosses familiar with uni-assist will answer the second part.

Good morning house,
I want to get some clarifications,I’m applying to one of this German schools for my masters degree program for winter semester,I have all the documents ready and I’m about to book an appointment with the German consulate for certification,Do I need to take along with me,my NYSC certificate? my WAEC certificate? My CV? SOP?
Please I need a list of all the documents I need to take there for certification
And also I’ll be applying to about 4-5 schools under uni-assist,do I need to apply to the schools first, fill the application forms and attach it to all the certified documents I’d be sending to uni-assist,or it’s possible to send the certified copies to uni-assist first and when the schools opens portal for winter semester application, then I can send the application forms generated during the online application.Someone should please help out
I tried reading from the part 4,I couldn’t figure this out

Boll2010: biochemistry is a nice course......atleast your 100lvl is just the normal courses for major......don't fail your MTS 101,PHS 101 and you BIO especially......and your lecturers are kinda still easy.....nothing hard.....BCH atleast you guys need to take your 100lvl seriously......take your CHM very well cuz you will be buildn on that in upcoming courses.....nothing serious! The only hard part of your courses are the CHM you will be borrowing......and 200lvl you will be offering a MTS course called MTS232 that's O.D.E(ordinary differential equation) this particular course people in this department carries it a lot! And it can go al ong way till final year if you aint careful......so read and be serious! Prayerful......and your lab praticals also......majorly people in CHM dept usually choose BCH but get dump in CHM.....if you a serious person an upper should be ok or nothing less than a 2nd class lower! Do have a great day...........

Education / ASUU Strike:when Is Funaab Opting Out? by babatea10(m): 10:32pm On Dec 06, 2013
My fellow funaabites, when is funaab opting out of this strike,or that our ASUU chairman,Dr Badmus,na lyk so him sturbborn reach?cos most skuls don they opt out oo.what's ur view?
Education / Re: All ASUU Strike News::1st July-16th December 2013 by babatea10(m): 11:05pm On Dec 04, 2013
paragon40: BEVERLY HILLS, CA, December 04,
(THEWILL) – The Senior Special Assistant to
the President on Public Affairs, Dr. Doyin
Okupe, on Wednesday, declared that there is
no victor, no vanquished in the current
struggle between the Federal Government and
members of the Academic Staff Union of
Universities (ASUU).
He therefore pleaded with the union to resume
duties, saying the Federal Government is
committed to fulfilling the agreement reached
with the lecturers.
Declaring this at a media briefing in Abuja,
Okupe said :‘’It has become necessary for us to
show proof to the Nigerian public confirming
our earlier statement that following the
Presidential intervention on the ongoing strike
by Nigerian University lecturers, President
Goodluck Jonathan gave the required
instructions to ensure the fulfillment of what
was agreed with the Academic Staff Union of
Universities.’’
According to Okupe, ‘’On the 13th of
November 2013, the office of the Accountant
General of the Federation authorised the
banking and payment system department of the
Central Bank of Nigeria via a letter with
reference number FD/OAGF/220/
ADC/1/4DF to open a “revitalisation of
Universities Infrastructural Account” with the
CBN.
‘’On the 29th of November, 2013, the CBN
confirmed in a letter reference BPSD/BSD/
CON VOL 17/088 to the Accountant General
of the Federation that the said account had
been opened and an account number was given.
‘’Prior to all these, the Director of Funds in
the Office of the Accountant General of the
Federation MK DIKWA, through a letter
reference FD/LP2008/37/C/I/DF dated 8th
of November communicated with the Executive
Secretary of the Nigeria Universities
Commission requesting for the list of Federal
Universities in Nigeria for the purpose of
opening a Special Account for them.
‘’On the 12th November, 2013, the NUC
through the office of the Executive Secretary,
Prof Julius Okojie in a letter reference NUC/
ES/444/VOL15/280 responded to the
request and gave the list of the Universities
with their various account numbers domiciled
with the CBN.
‘’Following this, the Accountant General has
communicated with the Executive Secretary
requesting for the details of amount payable to
each of the listed universities which is
currently being processed by the NUC.
‘’I state categorically that I have personally seen
the balance in the account as of today and
confirm that it contains the requisite amount
and disbursement will commence as soon as on
going administrative processes are sorted out.’’
Okupe stated further: ‘’ We want to re affirm
that the President and this administration have
no credibility issues whatsoever. Mr. President
has always honored his words and obligations
to the Nigerian people as and at when due.
‘’Finally, given due considerations to the four
items mentioned by ASUU as preconditions to
their calling off the strike, we state
categorically that none of them remain
substantially pending or weighty enough to
justify the continuation of the strike.
Therefore there are no further legitimate
reasons for the strike by University teachers to
continue a day any longer.
‘’We therefore call on Dr. Nasir Fagge, his
distinguished colleagues in the ASUU
leadership as well as other patriotic members
of their union to put all else aside and call off
this strike in the interest of our young men
and women who have been kept out of school
for five months and who have no recourse to
any form of compensation whatsoever.
‘’Having come this far, we believe it is time
that we all come together once again as major
stakeholders in the affairs of the country and
the educational sector in particular to move on
and begin to chart a new course for advancing
the sector and improving the standard of our
institutions for higher learning. There is no
victor or vanquished in this protracted
disagreement.’’
what is ur ingredient?

phemmy johnson: ASUU can only declare dat lecturers will nt lecture but they can't stop other academic activities from taking place which is already happening in unilag.. Nevertheless, as time goes on, lecturers will lecture because the union will soon break and be divided.. Lets wait and see! 75% of the university lecturers will resume but may nt start work immediately...Don't 4get, these lecturers are NIGERIANS O! Who go won lose im job because say e wan fite 4 better education in nigeria ? ?
