Babatundehy:Package is at speed af warehouse now, customs whatever is done. |
chiboyne:Oh well, let us see what happens, I'll update here when status changes, we'll see when these revenue-generating and middle-class-deleting criminals get back to doing what they know best. |
mickydroid:Your first code was specifically telling you that something is wrong with the injector wiring on cylinder six, check how that injector sprays fuel, replace if pattern is bad. Blue smoke, car is burning oil, obviously you have some car knowledge, so I believe you already checked and saw it isn't an external oil leak getting on the exhaust, if it is not pcv valve then you're on a long and stressful ride, it is a Toyota, most mechanics will be able to advise you properly, I am sure there are many around you, Toyota isn't Changan or Gac. |
It doesn't take one to be alive for so many years to understand the progression of this country, the year before has almost always been better than the next. Nigeria isn't cursed, a large fraction of Nigerians are just stupid, casting their votes because a candidate is of a certain tribe, religion, or worse, because some politician took to the streets to buy corn or play table tennis 😆, hand out 5000 naira on election day. It is absolute stupidity, one that can be likened to that of a reptile, to think that God will "keep you and your household" out of troubles and poverty, having stayed out of the process (not voting) or voted purely out of sentiments, say you're well off, you're not safe if your neighbours are hungry, north, south, east and West, Fulani herdsmen, kidnappers and terrorists are all over the country, those in power and their close kins will not be victims, chants or screams of the name of any terrestrial or supernatural being will not make you impregnable to lead, the only power you have to change things comes once every four years, do it wrongly and deaths of all kinds, sickness, kidnappings and even sufferings of the most basic of amenities will not cease in the land. I no longer give tips, offer lifts to young or old, I wait for my my change and collect it even if it is 10 naira, I already see tight skinned men and women in the streets showing evidences of malnutrition, let us see how and when Nigerians will demand a change, it is not too bad yet as Nigerians are still adapting, let us see what happens when cannibalism is how people survive 😡 |
2009 Hyundai sonata V6, I've only done the normal servicing for about three years now, there was a time I told my mechanic to check my ignition coils, nozzles and plugs for me because I was going to embark on a long journey and didn't want no surprises, he saw a cracked ignition coil and advised to replace all 6, that's about it in three years, I still get about 17mpg in the city and I fired it yesterday on a freeway and got 21mpg, not bad for that age. |
I've used Temu many times and I always got my order delivered within two weeks, my order has been stuck at "customs clearance started" for 7 days now, courier is SPEEDAF, called and they said order has yet to arrive their warehouse, e be like say na on top this one me and AliExpress go take breakup. |
stokfrick:Your battery could just be bad, not able to hold charge for long anymore, how old is the battery and how often was vehicle used before all of this started? A bad battery would restart the vehicle shortly after engine was turned off (if driven or let to charge for a few mins prior), you may not have a parasitic drain, if you have a nice neighbour or a second car or can rent a battery, have it installed overnight and then try to restart your car by morning, you should start thinking something else if the battery still doesn't start the car. |
Iceking1:Yes sir, should be the same. |
eteebanky1:Not really about being a Nigerian used vehicle, here or beyond, only very few people decide to sell cars just because they are sick of it and want something new, there's almost always an issue, mostly, it is because this issue was fixed and seller decides to sell out of fear of recurrence, or the issue, serious or not so serious, is present and seller isn't willing to fix, due to unavailability of funds or seller just being crooked, disclosure at the point of sale being a question of the seller's principles, this is where proper pre purchase inspection comes in. I am very sure this poster either didn't do any prepurchase inspection or went with a criminal mechanic for the inspection, this issue of fuel consumption is what you can see on the dash, say trip meter was reset, the information will still come up while test-driving. |
Quite sad, I know how you feel, I have seen some stranger cry at a car stand and begging for refund even if not full refund, this was a bad honda civic. Two codes could give you this pocket draining issue, the MAF and manifold code, I am leaning towards the MAF code though. Check the connectors/pins of your MAF sensor, also have an electrician check the wiring, try with a known to be working MAF sensor from another vehicle. If the above fails, move on to the intake manifold sensor, check the wiring too, if that is fine, then you may need to replace the intake manifold, as a bad intake manifold could give you the MAF code. If all else is fine with this vehicle, then surely this can be fixed, easier if it's the MAF, a little expensive if it's the intake manifold, I don't think car dealers here do refunds, they're mostly crooks and often have the backing of local law enforcement, you know how it goes. Next time, do not skip the proper inspection process, mpg is what you see on the dashboard, how did you miss that? Good luck and do update the thread so people learn a thing or more about such issues. |
rapheal5:. You don't know what you're talking about, why do you not sing while you chew your food? "Life is a risk huh"? Cross a busy interstate road blindfolded since "people die everyday".. a cord around a baby's neck and prolonged labour almost always equals a terrible outcome for both mother and baby! |
Isaacsam97:I use a 350watts panel |
I don't know how this number was arrived at, but I will not quickly say this is false or exaggerated, this is just because I saw a lot happen over the last few weeks. My wife has had elevated blood pressure since week 20 of her pregnancy, it continued to stay elevated when checked at each antenatal visit, I registered her at a women's only hospital, owned and run by a consultant (gynecologist) who has been working for over 49 years. The baby didn't present well, we had hopes that would change two or three weeks before the due date, but the doctor sat me down and told me vaginal birth will be risky (even if the baby changes to the head down position) going by the numbers of her blood pressure, we were looking at an elective caesarian section. Week 36, we checked and the baby was cephalic, Hallelujah! but at this time her blood pressure was 146/89, bad, this would most likely shoot up during labour, if allowed to labour (I am told), we went to the doctor a day before the planned caesarian section for a final review, this was week 38, blood pressure wasn't good and she already had swollen feet, she had hopes and was praying, saying all would go well with vaginal birth, I wasn't going to roll with that, i paid the 560k for the procedure, and that evening we brought our things to the hospital. The next morning my baby was delivered, a baby boy, wife spent four days at the hospital and before leaving, we saw the baby had yellow sclera, jaundiced, the gynecologist referred us to a pediatrician, on getting there bilirubin levels was high, phototherapy had to be done for three days, that cost about 200k (with fluids and medications administered). It was at this hospital I saw how dangerous pregnancy can be for women in Nigeria, I saw a 4kg baby die at the NICU because at the hospital they went they were advised against vaginal birth but some other hospital welcomed them and told them it was possible, baby couldn't come out past the shoulder, they pulled him and that ruined the little boy. Some other woman who was going to have twins was rejected, came in a keke and said at the state specialist hospital she was delivered of the first baby at 2pm, they tried but the second was still in at 5pm, this was shocking to everyone, God knows what happened to her and her other baby. Some other woman with a case of ectopic pregnancy, didn't have the money for the removal and had to manage pains for weeks before coming back for the procedure with her husband/boyfriend. In all of this, first of all I'll say men who make their wives go through having 3+ kids are crazy, anything could happen even to a well managed woman during her pregnancy, not to mention how many Nigerians have no money and continue to have sex believing children bring along money lol, some Cotonou guy who already has three kids and whose wife had lost a twin and two other babies at birth, was delivered of another twin, premature, someone who knows them brought them to this specialist hospital, recorded and uploaded many videos of these babies so kind people see and donate to keep them alive, men and women, this shouldn't be the way to go anywhere in the world. Babies are dying, mums are also dying, this I have seen just within two weeks of being at two hospitals, another woman lost her baby because her mother was against her going through CS, refused the advice of the first doctor who operated on my wife, had preeclampsia and that took the baby, went to another hospital for a scan that was where they told her baby had no heartbeat, she had to come back to the first doctor to take out the dead baby, at the same cost. I am not for public hospitals, someone close needed a breast excisional biopsy and the way that was handled messed me up, I told myself I'd never go to these places for anything beyond malaria, man, do not go spreading your seeds if you don't have money and won't be there all the time for your wife, wife, if you don't have money and know your husband also doesn't, do not get pregnant, a lot could go wrong just by refusing or not able to spend money, money will not magically appear because you need it! Government hospitals aren't enough, understaffed, poorly equipped, and have to handle too many patients, I am totally satisfied with the services I got at the two private hospitals I went, 24/7 power supply, no smelly wards, clean toilets and bathroom, proper security, very good patients and visitors control, fewer patients (most likely because of the cost), you see the same specialist, not 5 doctors who have to read your file over and over to be updated on your case, public health sector is in shambles, you need God more and money to encourage the personnel to achieve good results in these places, I blame only the government! |
Isaacsam97:350watts Africell mono crystalline panel. |
Isaacsam97: |
Torg77:Like day 1, i still get maximum the River2pro can take, 220watts, these days, I mostly get that from 12pm until minutes before 3pm. All reviews are honest, no affiliations or any relationship with any of the brands mentioned so far. Be careful not to buy a fake panel that's just got the branding of a good one, this is a common trick. |
Torg77:All has been good, no issues, 0eight16three10twenti3fifty |
I just retried and I was able to make payment, there was some temporary issue the other time 😊 |
tamdun:I tried, opay didn't work |
Hello, I ordered for some product on AliExpress a few months back, I paid with my opay account, I tried ordering today and I chose opay but my opay app didn't prompt me to authorise the debit transaction about to happen on my account, it did this in the past, AliExpress just showed a payment page that says something like "please wait payment is being processed", it does that fir a few seconds and then my ordered items go to the "to pay" category with a countdown timer that shows when the other will be cancelled. I wasn't charged, so I know order wasn't placed, what's the update about paying with opay on AliExpress? Is the party over? I even tried again by signing up my wife on AliExpress and using her opay, the same thing happened, so I know it had nothing to do with my opay or AliExpress accounts. |
rapheal5:This is dangerous and a CS isn't about giving up on the mother, it is done to prevent needless prolonged labour, so the baby isn't stressed, prolonged labour can cause permanent cognitive issues in the baby, congratulations. |
Hydronium:This won't serve you good, you'll only be able to charge at about 100watts max, that'll take forever, won't be able to top up from this battery while loads are connected to the power station, get at least the 24v, and from my market survey, it does seem there are many brands offering higher capacity batteries (wh) for just a little over the price Ecoflow is selling it's 12v battery. |
okooloyun1:Three speed settings sir, and the airflow on the least speed setting is still a lot, especially on a cool night. |
Debroslink:I didn't try this experiment with a charger for the external battery, but on YouTube, people who have this setup installed have dedicated solar panels for charging this battery ( total wattage of panels depends on the total voltage of charge of the battery, battery capacity) and then these solar panels are connected to solar charge controllers to charge the battery and then the battery is connected to the power station through the O ring to xt60 cable. The external battery drains first, look at the external battery like the sun, just like when the power station is connected to a solar panel and in use, if the load on the power station is less than the power coming in from this external battery, then you get a 100 percent charge, it tops itself up and then repeats, if the load is more than the total power coming in from the external battery then the Ecoflow battery starts to drain very slowly, just like what happens when connected to the panels, heavily loaded and in use during the day. This back up trick is great, no losses from this external battery as it is DC to DC you get to use 100 percent of its total capacity, only loss will be the normal inverter loss from the Ecoflow inbuilt inverter, I'm looking at a 3.5kwh battery 😆 I want 24hrs now. This has been rewritten properly, the Ecoflow power station battery doesn't get emptied before the external battery, the external battery is emptied first, this external battery only tops up the Ecoflow's. |
twosquare:https://www./duravolt-18-energy-saving-dc-standing-fan-inverter-friendly-25w-410433163.html |
Babatundehy:This was delivered few days back, the DURAVOLT 18inches AC/DC fan, having used cloud energy for about 6 months before the motor gave up, I have to say the highest speed of the cloud energy is almost the same with the least speed of this DURAVOLT, maybe this is as a result of their power consumption being different, 25watts/15 watts, and the cloud energy being 16inch. I'll update again after 6 months 😆 Secondly, so some solar padi I just made let me try my hands on a Cworth 12.5v 100ah lithium ion phosphate battery, oh well I wasn't surprised with the performance when connected to the Ecoflow to charge through the solar input port, the battery being 12volts, and Ecoflow pulling 8amps, it only charged at 100watts. I have a River2pro that can pull up to 220watts (dc charging )but not from a 12.5v battery. So, the advice goes thus, like I have said before, when you want to increase your back up time by buying a third party battery, make sure you're buying at least a 24v battery, the 12v won't cut it, charging at 100watts is like not charging at all, and the system would eventually auto shut off and you run the risk of damaging the inbuilt battery of the Ecoflow power station if you have a load as little as 80 watts connected while this extra battery is plugged in, not worth it, get at least the 24v. Now, I am looking at this brand making the news, colarsolar, saw a 24v 3.5kwh battery of this brand for 490k.

richiemcgold:The purpose of JAMB is to conduct a"Smooth" UTME, and that's supposed to check this "rot" you speak of, if JAMB is or has been failing in its duties, then everything is a joke! |
Show101:Mufus, I blame the dailypost putting up the yarns of these turban-wrapping-tainted- forehead wannabe-middle Eastern idiots in the news. |
richiemcgold:Now that the man in charge of JAMB has come forward to admit there were indeed issues, how do you feel? We should not be quick to jump to conclusions, this is what ignoramuses do, if hundreds and several thousands are coming forward to say they are sure the score they had in the just concluded UTME weren't theirs, then something is definitely wrong. Going forward, please do not be quick to put your folly into writing, it is these young folks' futures at stake, let's be careful and let us make sure these kids read comments from us adults and stay Inspired. This issue most likely happened in the past, and those who wrote in those times probably couldn't use the media to make themselves heard or were just not as confident as these sets of very smart young students, we have seen how verified accounts of people in their 30's and older, were tweeting garbage like " it is CBT there can't be errors, students are now crazy with Tiktok blablabla" these old idiots should keep their heads buried in shame and learn a thing from this. This is what happens when revenue generation is what every government agency is about, they become blind to providing actual value, I will not praise Oloyede for coming forward and acting "righteous", he should resign and never hold any position of meaning, incompetent man. |
Has nothing to do with "village people", just poor decision making and dealing with idiots. Now, that code means a communication error between your TCM and ECM, one or all of three things could be faulty ( these idiots probably pressure washed your engine bay, this is your car being bleeped through all holes). What you and a good rewire can try, find a working TCM and see if it works, if it doesn't, try an ECM in a perfect state, if that doesn't solve it, then your CAN bus is the middle Man between your TCM and ECM, your car wash guys did a diligent wash so maybe they got into the CAN bus too, replace and see what happens, the solution to your problem is within that circle of three, either TCM has failed and not communicating with the ECU, or CAN BUS has failed and can't relay messages either from the ECU to the TCM or the other way, or ECU is damaged and TCM confused or a combination of any of this, I am not a mechanic but this is what your code is about, Good luck. |
Kasdat5:Auto makers take out dead engines from cars brought in for engine replacement, and proceed to work with the parts in these engines that can be salvaged or even fix and put into vehicles needing engines, this is what "remanufactured" means, can call it refurbished too. The only problem here in Nigeria, where honest conscientious people are a tiny fraction, isn't the owner of a dead engine willing to sell, the problem is the criminals in places like ladipo and owode, who as a result of a sad way of life, righteously believe selling unsuspecting or ignorant folks bad goods is actually "business", these folks do not do any work (or at best do a poor job) on these dead engines or other parts, they only clean up, put markings and make them look shipped from overseas. This is where warranty comes in, if the seller isn't open to you returning the part should the part fail within a certain timeframe, then do not go into "business" with such a criminal. |
okooloyun1:Yeah it is garbage, i have a few appliances if the QASA/DURAVOLT brand and they have all been working good for years, I should have gotten from these brands but the many positive reviews on the cloud energy fan got me. I got the DURAVOLT 18inch AC/DC fan, waiting for its delivery. Jumia and Konga know what they're doing, you can't go back to your reviews to give an update, reviews aren't editable, many online marketplaces have this function, even JUMIA has a way of never posting up well constructed bad reviews on purchased products, thanks for sharing. |
