TheHulk616:Your engine is hiccuping, missing, and can't get the air/fuel ratio right, most probably because you have a vacuum leak, (that big hose taking air from the outside into your engine) you cannot drive that way, what if the vibrations fling you out just through one of the windows while on a busy road 😏, check the hose yourself to see if it is in proper position, look at the hose if damaged, or just call a mechanic. |
mbj2015:was the car burning oil the reason yoy decided to replace the rings? Your oil pump stopped working while the car was being driven? Do you have the inline 4 engine or the 2.7l V6 variant? You most likely need a new engine! When you start having rings issues I believe the engine is near gone and the best you can do is keep replacing the soaked plugs and manage the performance until there's money for a replacement engine, I do not really think a rebuild is worth it, especially if it is going to be your daily driver or an old cheap car. |
Omoawoke:You definitely do not understand but are quick to comment, in summary, the chances that a man's sperm produces a baby with cognitive issues increases as he ages, as a result of the reduction in the quality of his sperms, the woman's eggs could be fewer but quality is at 100, never declines, the topic has nothing ti di with the man getting and maintaining an erection, "perform" in your own words. |
juwoonn:I was cooking meals, washing myself and going to school that's about 2kms from my house alone, did all of these at 9. There was this day when my uncle had some police issues and was really scared and confused, he decided to come late in the evening to tell my mum he'd appreciate it if she followed him to the invitation he got from the police, so my mum had instructed me to put some water in the kettle, boil and pour in the flask for my little sister's use when she gets back. I woke up and she had already left, I knew where she went and quickly remembered the instruction she gave the day before, i immediately went to the kitchen, saw the kettle on the stove, assuming it was empty and not hot, I picked it up like I'd pick an empty cool kettle, this stove was about my height, I ended up spilling hot water on my face and chest, as my mum had already boiled the water and filled the flask, the quantity left in the big kettle was what I spilled on myself. No one was home, in pains, I ran to the bedroom, turned on the fan, the pain got worse as the fan spinned, somehow I managed, my mum came back to find me on the bed, it was a hot afternoon, she instructed to take off my shirt, i did and that was when she saw my face and the skin that came off with the shirt, healing took weeks and till this day the scar is still visible to whoever looks at me very carefully. A 9 year old is still a child, far from being an adult, and yeah when they say 99 degrees they do not mean 99 degrees Celsius, the unit is Fahrenheit, similar occurrences have happened, it is not the first. |
If you're normal in the head then you should be able to also think from the angle that the ladies living with these boyfriends could just be wasting the youth of these boys, and using the boys to satisfy their own sexual urges, that the boys are wasting away, being used like a intimacy gadget. Many are incapable of looking at it like this because they are still primitive, misogynistic and think the value of a woman has a relationship with the number of sexual partners she has had, and that the male is allowed to have as many as possible sexual escapades and still deserving of a female Virgin 😂 slow people. |
This is how you can tell that a country's population is that of people who have brains and actually use it, living is expensive so they try to manage their resources and not bring on more responsibility by having kids they cannot afford to take proper care of. In Nigeria, a man who earns 50,000 naira a month and already has 3 kids is still having sex with his wife, with no protection, and no worries of money, the family he has are already suffering and only eat eggs on Christmas. |
The only problem remains the government, how are our public hospitals even looking 😂? the resources of the nation continue to be pocketed by a few! The ones who actually take the time to study so they become useful to their own people aren't made comfortable, Compare the salary of the president of the United states to that of a surgeon there, do the same with Nigeria, anyone with a different idea after this needs to be flogged for either the crime of being a goat or part of the team eating out the country. Any nation under good governance knows to reward those very vital to its population quite fairly, a Nigerian senator goes home with millions every month, not to mention the several millions looted, governors and all the other celebrated nation killers. That the government has "subsidised" professional courses in universities isn't an argument, let the government make the cost to study physiotherapy or medicine 2 million a year and let us see how many students will show up 😂, they have no choice but to make it affordable or near affordable, it is not an actual subsidy, it is a form of atonement for their sins, better put, a necessity that must be sorted so the people don't protest when loved ones are lost in high numbers due to lack of skilled hands, it is to ensure the perpetuity of their looting, this is what many "smart thinking" Nigerians believe they should be grateful for? and why doctors who detest poverty and constant worry to afford the basics shouldn't leave? Who has cursed a large fraction of our people with foolishness? |
Isaac1005:That's not going to happen, it is good news your transmission is shifting well, find a mechanic that's very good in diagnosing electrical issues. |
Wons:Developing? Massively regressing would be appropriate, people are falling back to cooking with firewood and charcoal as they cannot afford to buy gas cylinder or fill it. Decades old cars are now beyond the reach of many hardworking Nigerians, senior civil servants even, human development going below zero, the youths are wasting away due to unemployment, our leaders of tomorrow have become skit makers on social media forums just to make ends meet, domestic flights? The average Nigerian dare not think of that. Security? Nigeria was more secure 20 years ago, healthcare? Kids are dying of malaria and typhoid in 2025, pregnant women dying like chickens still, hospitals are not equipped, still have electricity issues, doctors and nurses are overworked. Corruption at its worst, the poorest governance Nigeria and Nigerians have ever been through is unfolding, in the least, this sect will be able to say they have effortlessly depopulated Nigeria and curtailed its explosive population growth by encouraging terrorists and "bandits". |
Isaac1005:If the mechanic already diagnosed that to be the issue, then he might be correct, the abs module might be faulty, you can as well find another mechanic to check your wiring very carefully, the connectors and any blown fuses, why did you have to change the ECM? The issues could be related if electrical. |
KingRichard1:Damn, I feel you, very terrible disease to have. |
Nigerians continue to sleep, people who haven't been through this, or had a family/friend in this do not know how horrifying it can be, you'd wish your country worked, and there was a world class hospital in at least every state, this is when you'll know the actual damage the corrupt politicians are causing. |
And these are the people who are stewards of the quickly failing country called Nigeria? Drug dealers and the worst of murderers getting Presidential pardon and not an order to the governors to sign their death warrant? Nigerians still continue to pray and not hit the streets while they fully understand what these atrocious governance means for them? Any clear thinking middle class who still can afford to leave this wasteland definitely knows what to do, the young and poor who cannot afford to must take academics super seriously, It doesn't take a seer to know that "not a lot of good" is in the nearest future for this nation, not as long as these people keep getting recycled and tightening their grip on power, Nigerians continue their deep slumber. |
Jman06:You my fellow Nairalander are one of the not so many Nigerians with working brains, a brain that's a compendium of knowledge, and not a barren space filled with tribalistic rhetorics, religious bias, rare to find intelligent ideas and responses to serious matters on public forums these days, the increasingly trending shameless display of stupidity called "cruise" has made the comments section filthy. |
Working at 65? What's the life expectancy here in Nigeria? Writing lesson notes and screaming at pupils in class at that age? I am sure the teachers know that is not the life they deserve, and that this is just about appearances and the close elections. Approving the payment of leave bonus due 2019 when 2025 is almost done is sure a thing to applaud, that is how a good working governor moves 😂. Many of these people die before gratuities are paid, suffer for pension, the ones who get their gratuities fast actually have to make some deals, agree to part with a certain percentage before the "approval" is worked on, Nigerians are definitely not ready yet, how many of these teachers can afford to eat a balanced diet three times a day 😂 after years of super active service. |
Hydronium:Yes sir, if you're already talking to the seller then you can ask for the VIN, and then see what information you find, costs a few bucks, you can do it yourself. |
Hydronium:Foreign or locally used? If it is the former, before bringing in a mechanic to inspect, why not first of all do a VIN check yourself? if you're happy with the result then you can proceed to inspection, I can share contacts of two mechanics who are good if vehicle is in Akure, if In Lagos, search autoconsult here on Nairaland. |
Azrael's presence continues to grow all over the land, the numbers of those who have been unfortunate to have suffered its visit across all the regions of the country definitely is proof that no one is safe! State celebrated terrorists operate unabated, the military awaits orders before protecting civilians 😂, a large population of the people who'll also be visited in no time still sing praises of their tribesman in power, and those of religious leaders, its wings are large, and just a flap of them erases hundreds of souls. |
2cribz:Make minimum wage earner forget comfort permanently, it is over. |
2cribz:Oomoo, I no know say car prices don go up reach that level o. |
Grupo:Oomo, e be like say everywhere don really cast o, chai, means I'm not well informed about current car prices, how the average Nigerian won take survive like this 😔 |
sandammy:That should be easy to find on the internet, just get the fuse box diagram of the vehicle and you'll find your answer. |
You should visit car stands and stop looking at soon-to-die decades old Toyota cars which cost significantly more than your budget just because many people refuse to use their heads in this part of the world. With 3.5 you should be able to get even up to 2012 Nigerian used of car models like Hyundai/Kia. |
minista94:I'm almost certain he should do this 💯 |
A celebration of super high maternal mortality, insecurity, corruption, nepotism, widespread poverty, lack of basic amenities, non existent human rights, state fueled Tribalism and genocide, an era of "dialoguing terrorists", more than 50% youth unemployment, national grid collapse, poor purchasing power, dirty streets, lawlessness, etc... |
I do not know what to call my fellow Nigerians as I understand there are millions of Nigerians who are intelligent, i cannot find the word to describe this Extreme tolerance, and unexplainable love for these leaders who are responsible for our woes as a people. Everything is festering, all the sectors keep on decaying, the people now trust Amulets, rosaries, and church stickers, to keep them safe from the carnage terrorists can randomly unleash on any part of the country. An hardworking male lecturer who'll soon be done with PhD no longer calls the shots in his home, how can he? Not when the wife has to bring home rice and other consumables from her cooperative society, in this tenure of president Tinubu, the once very authouritative super male, Dr Gbogunmi, has become a "feminist"! I can no longer preach patriotism to folks who have plans of leaving, or encourage those who have left due to successive terrible governance over the years to come back, the very devils they experienced and ran away from, have increased their presence, gotten fat, but still very hungry. I have being on Nairaland for years (first moniker 2019), I found myself on the "Travel" section yesterday, perused for hours, before I went back to bed, I asked myself again, how could this be? I hope Nigeria gets better, and functions like a proper country, moving forward, I won't be waiting on this day, as that day may not be a part of this century. Many of my people are insanely tolerant, easily dissuaded, happy in poverty, grateful even in death, quick to adapt to sad oddities, reduced to believing in God to single out their kins for prosperity, in a land riddled with sudden deaths due to insecurity and corruption, gross abuse of human rights, poverty, even in the house of the most learned. |
Jbond:Hyundai/Kia cars are everywhere now, so are their parts, you should be able to find specialists around, in fact, any mechanic who knows what he is doing should be able to fix their issues, it is just important to never play with the electronics, don't allow any rewire make any stupid connection, I'll advise to look at anything from 2020 and to avoid the Turbocharged engine variants. |
AntiChristian:I attended a fstc, all federal government colleges are good, they have the best of teachers, students are properly monitored, when it is time for ssce, they don't involve in exam malpractices like some private schools, if your child is slow, he will not be promoted to the next class, my first utme about 14 years ago I had 268 (before UTME was watered down), cleared my ssce, academic confidence is what they built in me. God bless my teachers, someday I'll be back there to contribute something huge. |
Jbond:I most likely got a very well maintained unit, the sonata has a different suspension design, that might be why the problem you speak of is uncommon with it, enthusiasts have argued a good maintenance culture will prevent failure, that is, replacing at the first sign of failure. Honda's are great, but I don't love CVTs, what 2015/2016 model do you intend to get? |
gsparks01:Not much to do, just check if the engine oil looks good, if you're unsure what was put in then drain and refill with what the manufacturer recommends, do some for the transmission, that's it bro. |
