Kudos to Gov. Umahi. Most governors will NOT use this road building technology because, they MUST do roads every 2-3 years in order to embezzle government funds and deceive the poor masses. Most governors in Nigeria have no tangible developmental projects to showcase other than roads, more so poorly built roads. Is all about governance in building roads? Human Capital development is one of the vital projects any reasonable government should embark on.

Everyone on this forum should condemn comments or statements that try to open healed wounds. This is one of the speeches that can arouse hatred and bitterness among people. Many innocent souls and children in this nation CANNOT afford to jet out of this land when the effect of hate speeches manifest itself. People like FFK and the likes both in either parties know their ways out of this country in the even of any eventuality. Let us come together regardless of tribes or religion to condemn what is bad. The more Nigeria remain like the way we are the better for people like FFK. What is the importance of education without morals? If you are not disciplined enough to diversify the returns from the sales of your shares and you dont have other things to do with it, keep your stock of shares. Life is a cycle, what goes up must come down and vice versa. There are opportuned time to buy and sell. This is just the beginning of the free fall, you have not seen anything yet, im not a prophet of doom but saying the obvious. It is the usual pattern when Nigeria goes through election time. Politicians, your senators & assembly members who invested heavily in shares raised money for their election expenses, coupled with uncertainties institutional investors excersised. So, be cautious. Genuine and peace-loving residents in Rivers State know that this is far from the truth as regards Amaechi's performance. Amaechi transformed Rivers State. Let someone faults my claim: There was no state or governor in Nigeria who invested in Education like Amaechi. I crisscross Nigeria during the time i did not see any governor. The maintenance of structures left behind by Amaechi was abandoned by the present governor in order to discredit his opponent. What of overseas schorlaship given to the indigent students of Rivers State? It was stopped, the beneficiaries including those in thier final years. So what are people talking, saying and looking? The secrets to development is right educations. Amaechi borrowed & implemented the concept of the Asian tigers. The asian nations in the late 80s/90s sent their people to europe and America to go and study, the same people came back with the knowledge &the education they got to develop their nations. Any right-thinking person will know today that nigerians are being governed by illiterates who think that development is all about builing roads and mending bridges.

Niger Delta people with particular reference to Rivers State is backward in their thinking. Many infrastructural development initiated by individual concern have been stalled just because of pecuniary and frivolous demands by the indigent. I have never seen this kind of people in any place of the world. Someone wand to develop your place and you are demanding for money before such could be done. This is crazy! There are many places in other parts of the country that need development, i think the Federal government should direct their efforts to such places and leave this crazy, lazy people to continue in their ignorance.

It is a fraud. I have sent STOP or STOPAUTORENEW to 141 or 440 on AIrTel, it is not working and they keep deducting from my airtime. Why cant they also include the STOP on the USSD menu list? This is really day-light robbing of millions of subscribers.

The community where this rivers state government-asset-turned personal property is sited has suffered of neglect in term of road. As soon as the approval for the university is sought, the started mending the road from the express junction and stop the mending right in front of the so called university gate and abandon the rest of the community. This is how average rivers person think and behave including the educated one. Rivers people are not known to love and care for their people. They are very self-centered and wicked. The very reason why the State is backward. Come to this university and see things for yourself. Individual and personal effort in the community to dig drainages to lessen the suffering of the people in the community were thrown to the dustbin. They came and covered up even the drainages and put their own road surfaces without drainages. That is the kind of environment Dr. Peter Odili is creating for his university. He is a graduate of Uniben i thought he should borrow or copy from the good designs of uniben for this maiden university. To me, it is a big shame and very ridiculous.
