I would suggest that you send them another email and maybe attach the approved time-off your boss has given you. This should motivate them to reschedule the speaking test. Once, someone had to come out of town to write the test in Lagos, in the proof of payment email the person stated boldly her time frame availability and suggested dates for the speaking test and MOD honoured it and scheduled her when she wanted. Please just make your case explicitly to them. Richness1104: Thank you @ifeoma77. I have written to them and they are insisting that they can’t reschedule |

ICES does not send ECA by email. I guess that's why he/she is asking for a Canadian address, so that receipt of the hard copy will be fast (since its Canada to Canada mailing), compared to mailing it to Nigeria (i'm assuming the recipient is in Nigeria) which may take longer than normal especially if it's not sent by courier. Jennypharb1: Except you're trying to save costs, there's no need for the physical report anytime soon. You can make use of the soft copy to submit your application, while you wait for the hard copy |

I rejoice with @Tojued, @Canada'sGOAT, other PPR clinchers i have omitted (not intentional), and IELTS smashers. May the rest of the process be seamless for all of you.
Truly this process is quite emotional, as i have gone from being overtly positive to depressed and then hopeful.
IELTS 'writing' has been quite the challenge and most recently 'reading' but i'm retracing my steps, and giving myself time to figure things out while i keep practicing.
To all those stuck in a particular process (including myself), i pray the good Lord visits us at our point of need and eases our pain/process. AMEN!!!
Let's keep the HOPE ALIVE!!! |

Please don't sulk for too long. You'll smash it if you decide to write it again. Nuges11: This is beautiful. May all your wishes come true.
I also wrote IELTS on Feb 09, first attempt. LRWS: 8.5, 7, 7, 7.5. Overall band 7.5. Really not sure what to do next because this leaves my CRS score at 435 but I really don't feel like taking the test a second time. I'm quite disappointed anyway because the test seemed easy enough, in fact I wasn't expecting anything less than a 9 in both reading and listening. I also followed Jay's methods for the writing but obviously I must have done something wrong. I'm still sulking sha, I'll decide what the next step will be later.
Again, I wish you all the very best |

Delivery period is based on what option your wife chose. Option 1 - Regular delivery usually takes a longer time and there is no tracking number and may be delivered to the nearest post office to your address, if your address is difficult to locate. Option 2 - Enhanced delivery - usually takes the same time as option 1, just that a tracking number is available but your wife may have to email them to send it to her (remember to quote the PCC application reference number in the subject of the email). Option 3 - Courier - this will take lesser days than option 1 and 2. I believe this will be delivered to the address specified in the delivery address given during the application process. If she doesn't receive the tracking number after the processing days stated, she should send them an email requesting for it (quote application reference number in the subject of the email). I hope this helps you and your wife decipher the next line of action. ready4glory: Hello, please when you applied, did you get a tracking number? My wife applied late last year and it was dispatched earlier this month, but we have received it. |

Response to your question - i read somewhere on this thread (i think @Ifeoma77 posted it) that PCC can be done in Abuja at Nigerian Police Headquarters, Louis Edet House johnnybravo1990: Same shoes with yours. My CRS is above 460 - sure of ITA. But I used CES-University of Toronto for my ECA. Tracking it shows it was delivered 5 November 2018. But up till now my profile on their site has remained untouched like I never applied for ECA. The annoying thing is that they said that processing time is 12 weeks from when they acknowledge that they have received my transcript. I have sent them 2 or 3 emails which have gone unreplied. People be complaining about WES but right now I wished I used them. If I had the money I would have started another ECA with WES. Well I will wait to see some progress with the ECA before booking for medicals and doing the police certificate.
By the way, is there anywhere in Abuja one can do the police certificate stuff? Must it be Alagbon in Lagos? |

Hi johnnybravo1990, i used ICES for my ECA and to the best of my understanding Application Submitted - means money received, Application Received - means documents have been received, Application complete - means assessment has been completed. However, the statement in bold is a very likely. @Nasachuky: If you haven't sent them an email already requesting the status of your application please do so. ICES responds to emails within 48 hours. Their email is icesinfo@bcit.ca Don't forget to quote your reference number in the subject of the email. Good luck johnnybravo1990: Application received means they have received your money, or they have received your online submission for ECA. It doesn't mean transcript received. However, I believe your transcript may have gotten there, but it hasn't yet reviewed yet to certify its authenticity.
ECA is just a test of patience. |

I don't think you need to worry. Your dashboard just indicates that they are reviewing whatever document you sent to them recently (which they have received). Once that is complete, WES will send you an email, and it will state if they need additional documents or they have sent the documents to your school for verification or if the the process is complete(please seniors/experts in the house kindly confirm statement in bold). Youtook: This is what mine looks like. Should I start crying? Lol |

Thank you NeneSisi for your response. Personally, i would prefer to use uppercase i don't want to be stressing about proper noun and the likes but from your result i don't think it mattered what case was used. NeneSisi: Hello, I started out my listening in uppercase and then got worried and continued the rest in regular sentence format [starting each with a capital letter]. It got me worried, but I got a 9 in listening.
Hope this helps. |

Congratulations!!! nomad26: My people, I am so happy right now that you would think I won the lottery lol My EOR results (from BC) came back successful! Writing was upgraded from 6.5 to 7 and speaking from 7.5 to 8.5. In fact, I didn't want to remark speaking, it was COPR that suggested that I do it just to increase the chances of getting my money back. Thanks man!
Also, to be honest I wasn't very confident about my writing because I didn't have time to review my essays at the end. All I was sure of was that I wrote over the word limit in both essays and in Task 2 (my task was to argue both sides and give my opinion), I wrote 4 paragraphs and used made-up examples in explaining both sides. I used IELTSADVANTAGE as a guide to structure my essay.
So my people, if you're looking for 0.5 or 1 point upgrade, EOR is worth a shot, go for it! Mine took 2.5 weeks in total. Thanks to COPR, fmsimple and everyone for your encouragement, God bless you guys plenty
The icing on this new year 'cake' was that my ECA also FINALLY arrived this morning from ICES, after 4 long months of frustration. CRS now standing at 459, I am off to the pool o, next stop ITA! |

For Express Entry it is best to evaluate your highest degree to get maximum points under educational qualification. Considering that your Masters is from a foreign University, you should assess it with WES and WES Canada is the right body to conduct the ECA since its for Express Entry application into Canada. sputos: Good day everyone,
I am new on this thread. I have some few questions. I have a bachelors degree from Nigeria which has already been evaluated by Wes and i have Masters from the US.
My question is , do i need to evaluate my US Masters
Also my Wes evaluation is on Wes.org, is it a must i evaluated from Wes Canada.
Kindly assist with these questions.

Both of you need to write IELTS again, this time aim for L8R7S7W7 at the minimum. Some factors contribute to who would be the principal applicant like age, Education qualification, years of working experience. I would advice you read page 1 of this thread and then use the CRS calculator to determine who should be the primary applicant. cheldas: Dear Gurus, I've read so much here but still not clear with our case, when i saw some have done exams more than 3xs and to a good point of 7 and above scores. My Q goes thus, my wife and I scores on first attempt L6.5, S6.0, R6.5 and W6.5 mine are L5.0, S6.0, R5.0 and W6.0. When i checked the eligibility stuff, its gave me a reference number to enter the pool but i've not followed up without coming on here to ask the gurus some Qs. Are we good to go or we should try and up our scores respectively...?
Meanwhile, my wife has done her ECA but i've not done mine, if we are good to enter the pool can she stand and the principla because her scores is more than mine. She doesn't have company account even though her company is registered for the past 8yrs she's into media profession. I'm also the CEO of my registered company as well who into a lot of things with company account which has a huge amount in there also make transaction to multinational companies i deal with tokunbos importation as well as farmer.
Pls i need your advice sirs and mas. |

Happy New year everyone, May 2019 be our best year yet and may all our prayers be answered this year in Jesus name..Amen!!!
To this ineligibility issue, I think it may be due to an intended increase in POF. On other forums, people have had to recreate their profile with a higher POF to become eligible.
See screenshot below of an example.
