You are right, to think that I have been aware of EE since early 2015 but thought it was a difficuilt and stringent process especially when an immigration laywer charged me about 2m processing fee. I know better now as almost everyone I know are in the process too. Another thing is the numbers of Nigerians applying is nothing compared to the Indians and Pakistanis kfrosh: Not really, a lot of people know about it but still are not ready to push themselves to go through with it.
Some other set of people are too lazy to see it through. I mean haven't you being around some friends that you tell them about it and they're like "bros, that process get as E be jare". These same people really want to leave Nigeria if given the chance. |

When will last semester results be released so we know courses to register this semester?
Also I will like to know if the school issues statement of results to students who have completed their coursework and project before certificate is later issued. |

Good day Fam!
Please I have a question as regards ECA via WES.
For someone who has already evaluated his degree certificate before the introduction of WAEC.
Will I still have to verify my WAEC result by the time I’m done with Masters and ready to evaluate it? |

Anthonyo15: GoodMorning NOUNITES
Starting from where we stopped yesterday
➡A student that starts from 100 level doing a 4 years courses is to pass at least 120 units, while 5 years course is at least 150 units before you can graduate DE students that is from 200 level is 90 units but to be candid add a minimum of 20 units more to the least required most times your core courses will take care of that but that is where electives are required.
➡ In a semester you can register a maximum of 24 units and follow what i posted yesterday by registering reference/carryover courses first that will be just exam registration which will cost you just a thousand cos it already registered
➡Missing or undone courses doesn't affect your GP it only affect courses where you have F (Fail) which brings down your GP
➡Finally for today, to graduate from NOUN all GST courses must be done and passed, IN 300 level you must do a course called RESEARCH METHODOLOGY and must pass it, for Education you must do all your TP, Department with Seminar, you must register and do your presentation and pass and if your department is doing IT you must do it and pass it also.
Thank you.

FocusedDiva: I saw 30units on NOUN website but a staff at the study center told me it's 40. I am still confused too. But I registered 40 units to be on the safe side. Why is it that everything about this NOUN is not always precise? I already registered 15 units this semester and hoping to register about 18 units next semester. Can someone who is certain come clear our doubts on this issue please |

FocusedDiva: If you can drop a 2 unit elective course like CIT 832 or 844,you will be able to register your carry over course.i guess the carryover is 3 credit units. Just visit your study center immediately and drop a 2 unit course, you will still have the required 40 units to graduate.you can confirm from other people before taking any action. I only told you what I did. Please, is the 40 units in respect to MSc Info Tech? I thought the required unit to graduate is 30 units. |

sunsetaugust8: @op, I couldn't have agreed any better, this semester result for MSc Info Tech 2nd Semester exam/codes..seems to have a deduction of about 10-15.. Or probably the scaling has been upgraded as follow 80-A,70-B,60-C and remember anything short of C is F for MSc.... my probable flawed thoughts though. Reason for this is solely based on personal perception.
I am a student who strongly believed in just 2 possible grades outcome A/B, and this my assertion was duly justified at the 2017_2 semester 7A1B and the B, I personally had earlier marked myself and graded it as a B, thus no drama, whatsoever; TMA was 25 and exam wasn't business as usual.
However, this semester 2018_1,had least TMA as 29! Just 1, remaining 4 were 30. And the exam based on personal score the least should be a 71-A...normally my scoring is worst as +-3 but this time...phew...mtcheww..1A.. A course i had scored myself as 87..3B...all in d range of 70s on personal score sheet and 1C...I scored myself 71 in that., you see my assumption plays suit on both submissions..
So, based on personal account, I fall short and stand to be corrected of my annoyance, wrath and utmost distraught that in fact ONE of the 2 above opinions above holds true...either a general deduction of 10-15 points or in the most humane, a change of goal-post during the match...
We as student can do nothing, but rants as the school holds autonomous veto power and authority presiding on all affairs of academic and student character including justified rants towards unjustified exam results.
I will implore you to take with chill pill as we who had taken this drudgery 2018_1 MSc Info Tech 2nd Semester exam all were battered with this fate and agony in diverse proportion.
My project remains unreleased yet, couldn't expect any better from them...at least I rest my case on uncertainty of the so called "Project Defense", submitted in mid September. I await in grief!
Please, in your irate state of mind, know you are not alone as I got same frostbite in my heart when I woke by 3am to view the " maligned " result. I have since moved on and would encourage, you do same. Kindly retake those but this time with the perception of the above personal ordeal as pointers..
BOL op.
NB: i would be updating the shared link of my readings, shortly, probably before Friday. Those who had asked previously, hope you still have the link. Bro can you please share tips on how you were able to attain this excellence grades? Did you work with past questions and does NOUN repeat questions? Does one have to read study materials from front cover to back cover to attain a good grade. I earnestly await your feedback on the reading link. Thanks |

The comments I have been getting about NOUN isn’t that encouraging. I pray and hope I don’t get delayed. Can someone suggest to me how I can go about my project with delay? And how soon can one get his or her statement of result once programme is completed? |
