After choosing Flexi Appointment, no date is available, hence, I couldn't proceed to checkout. 42k has been added to my bill already.

Yes. 185k. It requested for card details which I imputed. Unfortunately, it will redirect me to the payment page.

I have tried to pay using this guideline. I have used both Zenith and Access Mastercard and Visa respectively without success.

But did they update your online status to indicate that visa has been approved?

Did you submit online or paper route? How did you apply for gcms, I need to do same too. I applied since January 30th. I linked my application online in April

I am not sure I will try paper route with this people again. As if the visa will admit person to Heaven.
I had valid UK, USA and Schengen visas on my passport. Yet, it's taking these guys a year to process a visiting visa.

Yeah sent web form twice, called the Canadian embassy at Abuja, I was told my application is being processed at Nairobi, I was given an email address to lay a complain, they replied my webform inquiry that my application is still processing.

Wao....God will create a way out... honestly there should be something you can do when I was despite last month The VFS office said the only option is to terminate the process....but even if it is terminated what is the assurance that the passport will be pass back fast ...the only wise solution is to pray and raise a webform pleading, also attach your flight booking and others as evidence of urgency because terminating after all the waiting is a choice I will like you to make ... another thing is if u have someone in Canada to request for your GCMS notes from there it takes about 15 days that will give you a clear picture of what is happening....

Thank you so much for the encouragement. I have reviewed all options available to me, cancelling the application will be unwise as you have also pointed out after 8 months of waiting. It is well jare. That's why online application is better sometimes, at least, I will have my passport with me

Sorry....I was also frustrated until I called them at VFS today and I was told my passport has been returned back to them... maybe you should call VFS ...if nothing raise a webform.... maybe it will help ...I truly understand ur frustration

I have raised a Web form. I am still waiting for their response.
I chatted with vfs today, same story. The painful thing is that I have bought a ticket to travel to Europe in May but because of Covid-19, I couldn't make it. Now I want to travel next month because my Schengen visa expires in November.

No. You have to apply for student Visa from onset. You will be advised to go back to your country to apply for a student visa

Reason: I'm not convinced you'll leave canada at the end of your visit based on purpose of visit

The Canada VAC in "Lagos" is closed to the public, but will provide passport return services via courier only with effect from 20th July 2020 (Monday & Wednesday from 9:00 to 15:00). A VAC representative will contact applicants whose passports are ready to be returned and will provide further details regarding how passports will be returned to applicants via the courier service provided by the VAC.
