7 Amazing Things Sanitary Pads Are Used For At General Hospital.
While growing up, sanitary pads have been life savers for every girl. Thank God for Tampoons now, but I tell you, sanitary pads are still reigning.
The first time my period came, I was on my way with Mum to a place. She gave me tissue immediately before we found a place to buy Pad. I was so uncomfortable in the tissue so you can imagine the comfort I felt when I changed to Pad!
Fast forward to 20 years time. I was at General Hospital Igando to have my babies (I had Twins just last week!) And I was amazed at what Pads, the mother care pads with Net as the outer layer and stuffed cotton wool inside was used for.
1. As conventional Sanitary pads. - To hold bleeding.
2. As Wipes - To clean excess water and blood while delivering.
3. As Napkins - To wipe the doctors and matrons hands.
4. As sterilizers - Pads were sterilized with Bleach and used to clean equipments.
5. As Mops - To clean the floor of the stains you made. (An orderly/cleaner actually came to request for my pad to clean the stain 'I made' on the floor).
6. As sponge! - I was shocked in the post natal room when I saw a cleaner dabbing soap on pads to wash plates!!
7. As Bathing sponge - Anyone who forgot to bring her sponge to the hospital could actually use the pad to bath!
I left the hospital awed at these uses.

greatgod2012: I wont twist words here.........taking money from your hubby's pocket/wallet without informing him, is STEALING, regardless of the type of man he is and also regardless of how rich he is.
Consider this scenario and clearly state how you will feel if it happens to you.
A man kept some amount, lets say, #5000 naira, the second day, he thought the money is still intact, went to a boutique to buy a beautiful dress for you, which costs the same amount, bought it, and when hes about to pay, he discover the money is #1000 less, imagine the embarrassment you would have caused him by your action.
Another example, both of you already have kids, and he kept money in his pocket, only for him to get to know on getting to work the next day, that part of the money is missing, and by the time he would be back home, you had gone to the market and he just assumed that its the kids that must have taken the missing money and he has already punished the kids severely before your arrival, only to discover that the kids are being punished for the money you stole, how will you feel
So, stealing is stealing, if you need the money, ask your hubby or take permission from him before taking his money, and if hes the stingy type, abeg, two wrongs can never make a right, d4, ignore him and manage the ones with you, in this life, there is a blessing that is attached to doing and being good, especially, taking care of one's immediate family and he who refuse to play his part misses the blessing. Dont allow a stingy man to turn you into a thieve.

G.G, everytime i eva took money, i told him. Its like ds: For example, i discover we run out of eggs in d house and i need to buy a crate and im short of cash, i just take money frm his pocket then go to where he is and say 'hon, i just took so so amount from ur pocket cos we nid eggs' or i even buy d eggs then tell him almost immediately. I dnt let him discover it, infact he neva knows. I just know i av to tell him.. I asked earlier, wat if he takes smtn dts mine b4 tellin me, did he also steal frm me?

Mine did not use to mind before but he later stopped me from doing it.(and i never took above a thousand naira.)

@OP, Story is so true. A lot of ladies dt undergo deliverance have to loose their weave ons when praying. A particular lady told me dt she stopd using weave ons becos there was a particular revival dt was going on in her church one day and al of a sudden a lady startd pulling out her weave on.
