The airports were closed too late and they allowed too many people in, especially the last two weeks. Anyway, this is expected and we should expect more because of the contacts they are still tracing ![]() An average Nigerian wants to go down with as many people as he/she can, so even when they know they are exposed, they continue having contacts with people in their ill-monitored 'self-isolation', that's why they are tracing hundreds of contacts per infected person. |
I have said this times without number; naija police/army will cause more deaths and anguish during this outbreak than the much dreaded covid-19 itself ![]() Someone really needs to sit these people down and tell them the meaning of essential commodity because if food isn't, I wonder what is! If you don't eat, how will you even take some life-saving drugs? Why waste food when some people don't have? I can't even afford to throw a grain of rice away these days because every grain matters |
The animals have been unleashed on the poor masses... they'll take a pound of flesh ![]() We are wired differently here |
They place this above human lives? I can imagine the number of isolation and treatment centres these cars will get us in Nigeria! Vanity ![]() |
ckmayoca:That's just for the likes of him who think Nigerian doctors are greedy money mongers who kill their patients for fun- we have so many of them in Nigeria, my brother ![]() |
He's trying Sha...but this is naija, they will politicize the distribution ![]() |
They are always healthy and in good spirits because they get tested promptly and they get the best medical attention ![]() |
Some valid points there ![]() What will people eat if we lockdown totally? I've been on a lockdown for over one week now with my children, because I was able to buy some basic things needed, but what of those who earn daily? Now, I'm already imagining a lockdown when I empty my backup cylinder, will the government supply gas and daily needs to our houses? I support lockdown but not a total one, unless the government is ready to help ...more like lockdown both local and international airports, we don't know who those planes have carried ![]() |
chillex8:Funny how you people are always envious of doctors! Only in Nigeria!!! Is it not better to decentralize the testing so the country don't lose other probable cases to the communities? How many people can NCDC test? Are they not only testing polithiefcians and their families and a few celebrities? Is that what ya all want? Besides, how will doctors cash in on this when they are not saying let doctors test? They just want the tests decentralized so other accredited centers can help speed it up and reach more people |
This one is strong, eleyi gidi gan ![]() They really need to decongest the correctional facilities though, but I hope the hardcore repeat offenders are kept behind bars in a better condition |
bonnyhope:No sir, I'm a Bible believing Christian! |
God will heal the land, he'll give scientists a breakthrough speedily in Jesus name |
Positive sounds scary these days ![]() |
The word positive is scary these days ![]() |
Our government will not use all the stolen funds to get this, they'll be waiting for donations from China ![]() |
China is the country you love to hate. They started the wahala, you still go to them for test kits and they can still sell fake if they like- because they enjoy a silly monopoly ![]() They are cashing out big time... |
hungryboy:I believe in God, not a pastor. I trust that he will manifest himself, this will not consume us in Jesus name. Exercise your faith my brother, it is well. |
alsudan:They're trying really hard to fail ![]() |
Graxie:And you put an 'f' in front of your moniker, shaming women with conscience ![]() |
Are we expecting our president to change overnight because of covid-19? He's always been like this, let's accept our fate and move on because he doesn't really care ![]() |
This is why I pray we don't get to a stage where we use the Nigerian army to enforce any government directive in this country ![]() |
sam4noow:Even if he's around, you think he cares enough to address us? It is well with us in Jesus name |
"Awolowo with his family this afternoon" Nigerians are very funny and creative with words and pictures ![]() |
Are they not supposed to work with the ports authority? That's why contact tracing is so difficult in Nigeria- because they're hoarding information from the stakeholders ![]() |
What's Enugu doing on the list of states the almajiris are returning to? Let them return to their real states ![]() JosEast: |
Like that WHO guy said; Lockdown is just a second window of opportunity to fight the corona pandemic, but that is for serious countries. Lockdown should be for a short period, where the chain is broken, contacts are traced and new infections are quickly detected. There is really no way total lockdown can work in Nigeria, no way. If it happens, only the super rich can survive the hunger virus. If we have foodstuff in the house, what happens when the gen is faulty and we can't power the inverter and the fish and meat gets spoilt because we can't power the fridge? So many things will go wrong if the lockdown extends over a long period ![]() |
Someone should please read the six key actions out loud to Buhari and his cabinet! Lockdown is a second window of opportunity for our government to correct their mistakes and right the wrongs against the masses, not a time for them to fold their arms and wait for Western countries to find a cure/vaccine! If we follow these simple steps, we will be fine ![]() |
What happened to that Dr that said he had cure? Just curious ![]() |
kingxsamz:There would be miracle when you believe |
hisexcellency34:She probably chose not come, the lockdown don't affect influential people in Nigeria ![]() |
