Modestanewsreel:Really? You don't see the connection between being forced to be cashless and bad network? An economy that mopped up cash without making provision for electronic transaction? Wow!!! |
He can have a thousand guards, but whom the gods want to destroy they first make mad. He is definitely on a self-destructive mode. How can you allow semi- illiterate abokeys to dictate to you and make you go against the people's interest? For those cheering him on, imagine MTN was down for hours today, what if there was emergency situation that you needed to do electric transaction? Are you telling us that Obi is the type of leader that believes in cutting the nose to spite the face? I know Bubu is evil, is devoid of any human feeling or conscience, but what of Emesiere? Election will come and go, then what? What if Tinubu wins the election? |
muyico:I'm in Ibadan and mine just came back up since 4pm! Lucky you |
Emesiere is not the one taking the decisions; it's Bubu and his cabal. They already assured Emesiere yesterday at the villa that we can't do anything. Unfortunately, we can't do anything indeed |
SojWORLDWIDE:He never started well, he never showed any prospects from day one...ending on a sad note should be expected as far as bubu is concerned |
I don't know about the other pictures and I'm not a fan of any polithiefcian...apart from Sowore, for his political ideologies....but please, that first picture is Soo fake! Look at the position of the head of the aide behind him and see the poor attempt at photoshop. It will only discredit the rest of your pictures |
It'll be unfair to dismiss inspector Audu, you can warn him or punish him. As for the pastor, they should warn him and let him go and sin no more. They said it's for illustration purpose, no harm meant |

Will you give me new notes in exchange for my old ones? If your answer is no, let me keep spending the old notes because sellers are still accepting it here in exchange for goods |
Very sinister move by the North! I hope the south doesn't lose out totally in all of these |
Whatever you guys do, just make money available. I'm tired of saying "thank you so much for your help" after I get 'my' money withdrawn successfully through the help of kind friends and colleagues! I need full access to 'my' money! |
Just reissue the old notes and let bank ATMs dispense from Monday ![]() |
The rich also cry indeed. How I wish the more wicked polithiefcians face same treatment or worse! Ekweremadu is a thief, but believe me he's not even one of the worst. I hope Sonia gets well in all of this ![]() |
muykem:Most likely... they'll just be loading the ATMs with a few thousands for the early birds and those who have time to queue. People like us will rely on POS agents and friends with access to cash to get new notes ![]() |
Nobody is even thinking about the deadline here... it's business with old notes as usual ![]() |
Cost of production (access to raw materials, cheap labour), Tax policies, standard of living of the consumers... ![]() |
Sunnyski:Unfortunately, the hardship will continue even after the election! They formulated a policy hurriedly without thinking of workability and implementation! Where do you think they will get enough new notes after the deadline? Forget Tinubu and this election, Emesiere is seriously confused |
You guys should stop encouraging madness! Why close schools officially because of election? These kids were at home for 8 months just recently. They all have different candidates to vote for, it will favor all the candidates, but what if the election is postponed and they have to stay back longer? It's their cup of tea though |
Your analysis is just the reality on ground. They want Atiku there at all cost because of their evil foolanis agenda. Where you are wrong is the title, it's not going to be a Benue and Ondo thing, foolanis will be going from house to house and the FG will openly support them. As a matter of fact, I've heard the scary opinions of some northerners and we need to brace ourselves for what Atiku will bring to the table. Unfortunately, southerners didn't realise this early enough, hence a southern unity is too late. The fear of the foolanis is that Obi will make Biafra dream a reality at the end of his tenure, that's why they won't let him get there. As for Tinubu, he should have been more careful with his dealings with the foolanis ![]() |
You can't impose 195 naira on individual marketers if you don't make fuel available for them. To regulate the price, you have to first ensure the landing cost is stable and it goes round |
It's murder! How did an 11-yr-old boy drown in a drumin his house? Did he trip and fall inside when he was pouring water and nobody heard him struggle or cry for help? How did he drown in the water drum without the mum hearing him struggle the day she returned home? Probably killed by a neighbor, kept by the neighbor and sneaker in to the drum when the mum went to the police station.they should check the neighbors and the house girl |
The old naira note is still seriously in circulation...court order or not, it'll continue beyond next week! Even when you pay new note, they give you old as change. Until the CBN makes the new available, the scarce old notes will be in circulation! No country has ever succeeded in using currency swap/scarcity to win corruption war. |
Nigeria has sank already, what we need is a miracle to pull it out ![]() |
Malami davidtemi:Malami that we all called names on different occasions now knows what he's saying ![]() Nigerians are the problems of ordinary Nigerians! Ordinarily, I don't care about this election but anything that'll give me more discomfort is what I don't want! At the end of the day, people will do anything to get the naira, including and especially selling their votes! What then will be achieved except untold hardship for the people? |
Atiku chose the dull one on purpose...It is well ![]() |
YungMillionaire:I have my reservations as far as the Igbos are concerned, but on this note I stand with them! They didn't force you to allow Eze Igbo or seriki in your place! I also wish our governors in the SW can be bold enough to stop all these nonsensical titles |
Students are free to take a break without distrupting the academic calendar. If you have something important to do at home over the weekend, won't you go? Go on Thursday, return on Sunday...that's not too much of a sacrifice! Besides, no lecturer will penalize a student for going to vote... let's stop this sentiment |
Deepfeel:To hell with southern unity; what I crave is outright division of the contraption! I will not vote for anyone, because we have different ideologies, different things we admire in people. I like Sowore, but since he can't win, I'm not voting! I don't align with Obi's ideologies, you do...by all means vote for him and stand by your vote! |
We understand your plans totally, o ye foolanis. Installing a Northerner was your agenda abnitio. I just feel sorry for the South; if this agenda happens, it is over for the Southerners because never again will a southerner hold any decent position in Nigeria |
PlayMaker14:How did he attack Fela? The implication of Peter's words is that Seun's attitude has erased his father's history! Now, tell, what does it mean to erase someone's history? You think that's a compliment to Fela's memory? BTW, erase means remove all traces of; destroy or obliterate (destroy utterly; wipe out.) |
derekdelta:To him, Delta and Edo are in SW sir |
Politics of bitterness! When will people learn to tolerate people who don't see things the way they see things? If we all vote/campaign for one person, it's no more democracy but democrazy! |
