I got a message to that effect but I ignored it. However, this is Nigeria, anything can happen! It's funny how some people think things will get better after the presidential election! There's a short supply of new notes, and I believe the report that says they don't have enough paper. Where are you people expecting the money to come from when they just rushed into the naira redisign without clear implementation plans? Believe me, it's either the new president overturn this unsustainable policy and recirculate the old notes or we get stuck with the cashless policy for months

My meat man begged me to buy meat and transfer or pay cash later, anytime it's convenient for me. He said he has been buying less than half of what he buys for sometime, yet he has been selling on credit to food vendors. Even if u were a bank, 3 months is enough for u to change all ur old notes.

A lot of people were forced to withdraw the old notes again after getting rid of it, because at a point that was the only money available. This is an ill-timed bad belle policy that will have a long lasting effect on the people

My own pastor just encouraged us to pray, go out and vote because he knows that some of us will never go out to vote. He said he believes we all have our preferred candidates, hence we should pray and vote according to our conscience. My prayer is that the election holds as scheduled
