This is uncalled for. The Judges that pass the judgement in their favour are devil incarnate. |
A New Jersey brother and sister have won the right to marry after a landmark ruling by the Supreme Court of the United States. In a 5-to-4 ruling, five judges unanimously granted the appeal by James Banes, 41, and Victoria Banes, 38, today after a ten-year-long battle. The overjoyed pair said they did it for the ‘millions of Americans who have consensual incestuous relationships and who are living in fear’ and blasted the Government for wasting taxpayers’ money fighting their challenge. The couple that was currently facing up to 15 years in jail said that they were now planning to start a large family and enjoy their newly found freedom. “Why am I allowed to bang my cousin but not my sister? It just doesn’t make any sense,” James Banes criticized outside of court. We’ve always dreamed of having a big family, now this dream will become a reality” added Victoria Banes, who also told reporters she is pregnant and expecting twins. Previously, New Jersey state laws only allowed first-cousin marriages but since the landmark ruling, New Jersey is now the only state in the country to also allow incestuous marriages

Edo 2016: PDP asks court to disqualify APC candidate Obaseki September 6, 2016. The PDP alleged that Mr. Obaseki made false claims and provided false information on oath to the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC. The Chairman of the party, Dan Orbih, gave the hint on Tuesday at a press conference in Benin City. He called on voters in the state not to “waste their votes for the APC because the party has no candidate for the election.” Mr. Obaseki and INEC were joined in the suit No. FHC/B/CO/120/16 dated September 1 and filed by Joseph Aghimien, on behalf of the PDP and its legal adviser, Edoba Omoregie. According to Mr. Orbih, the party asked the Federal High Court in Benin for a declaration that Mr. Obaseki’s statement that he graduated from the University of Ibadan with a B.A in Classical Studies in 1976 was false. He said the APC candidate made the statement under oath in INEC form CF001, Part B, paragraph C dated July 11. “In addition the party is asking for a declaration disqualifying Obaseki from contesting the Edo state governorship election scheduled for September 10, 2016 on grounds that he submitted false information on oath to the INEC on Form CF001 (and) therefore lied under other,” he said. He added that Mr. Obaseki’s non-disclosure of his membership of a secret society disqualified him from contesting for the office of governor of Edo state. “In all, Obaseki has failed to fulfil the requirements of the Constitution which in Section 182 (I) h) specifies the qualifications a person must have to contest the governorship of a state,” he said. Responding to the PDP’s litigation, the Publicity Secretary of the APC in Edo State, Godwin Erhahon, described the action as a move by a desperate and helpless party seeking to truncate the expected victory of the APC candidate. “They have a right to go to court, but they are not the ones to give the verdict,” Mr. Erhahon said. He said the case against Mr. Obaseki would not succeed before the court and that the APC candidate was properly screened by INEC which has the constitutional powers to do so. Asked to respond to the specific allegation of perjury, Mr. Erhahon said his party would respond to the issue in court as it would be prejudicial to offer a defence. “The PDP went to court and they are already out with the verdict that our candidate will be disqualified,” he said. “That is prejudicial and contempt of the court.”

A Nigeria Married woman narrates how she was raped before her husband, now the husband wants to divorce her because she enjoyed the rape. “I am a banker in my early 30s and going through a messy divorce. I married my husband as a virgin. I have never been with any man but him until I was raped. I didn’t know anything about orgasm, climax or what have you because i have never experienced it. 8 years of marriage with a miserable sex life. i have two children from my marriage. “It happens that we travelled to my husband village during Easter period. While in his country home by 1 am in the night our house was raided by armed robbers a gang of 7 members. “It was a very terrifying experience, after collecting all the valuables at home, the leader turned to rape me. The leader tied my husband to a chair, tore my clothe and went on to show me his manhood that he will use it on me. “I was frightened, i begged him and cried but he wouldn’t listen. It was a rape that cost me my marriage. As the guy was entering me, I was supposed to feel pains but that wasn’t so. I felt a kind of electrifying sensation that I have never felt in my whole life. I screamed oh my God, as he started pounding on me I didn’t know when I was holding him hard and begging him not to stop to the amazement of others, I was enjoying being raped by a criminal. “I was told I was screaming very hard when I wanted to cum. Yes, I had my first orgasm through rape and since then my life hasn’t been the same. The robber took me two rounds which I came both times. I don’t know what happened, if it was my village people that pursued me, but all I can say is that I haven’t had such with my husband. My husband gave me the beatings of my life after the robbers left. ‘He called me unprintable names, i am a prostitute, he didn’t know I was an Ashawo. He can’t marry an Ashawo. i was hospitalized for two weeks as a result of that incident and his beatings. “My husband left me at the hospital and travelled back to our home. i was damaged. how could such a thing happen to me? what was responsible for me enjoying being raped and even Cuming as a result of it? “How could i even enjoy such act of cruelty on my body? these were the question i kept asking myself. When i got discharged i met a divorce papers waiting for me to sign. I tried begging my husband, involved my parents but he swore instead of staying with me he will rather die. That i am a disgrace to his life. My husband is a rich guy, so when our divorce news broke out, while i was denying it, he kept telling everyone that i am a LovePeddler. it took me months to accept my predicament and move on. I am still healing, still seeing my therapist. “But one thing i know is that i am not what my husband says i am. i am just a woman who was sexually starved. i did not pray to be raped, but it was the turning point of my life. i just feel like sharing this with you my family because it will help me. “Please don’t judge me, because you don’t know my pains. By July i will be through with the divorce. I just want you all to wish me well with my new life. “I pray to find love in the nearest future".

The Medical and Dental Consultants Association of Nigeria (MDCAN), University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital (UITH) chapter, has advised the Federal Government against inviting medical experts from China to help in fighting Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. The Chairman of the association, Dr Muhammed Adeboye, said on Saturday in Ilorin that Nigeria has no alarming cases compared to other countries to warrant external help. ”It is bad for us to be expecting experts because people are not dying massively in Nigeria and cases are not increasing astronomically. ”For now, we are not stressed out as far as the crisis is concerned and people are been discharged day-in-day-out. ”So, there is no indication to bring any professional from any part of the world,” Adeboye said. He cautioned that any external unwarranted assistance could aid the foreigners to manipulate the virus to be more harmful to Nigerians. ”Bringing people in can be an avenue for many terrible things to happen as well, because we don’t have the capacity to manipulate viruses whether confirmed or not. ”It is a novel virus which might be probably man made and to a large extent, the rate of infection here is not as much as what we have in other countries. ”They can still manipulate to want to know what it is that is working for us, then go ahead to manipulate the virus again. ”And then, they will now import the virus with the so called unwarranted assistance, before you know it more people will be dying of it. ”So, we don’t need any foreign assistance, not even from China,” the MDCAN president said. As at 10.30 p.m on April 3, the total confirmed COVID-19 cases in Nigeria are 210, with 25 discharged and four deaths. https://dailytimes.ng/covid-19-doctors-warn-fg-against-inviting-chinese-medical-experts/ |
