A woman from Mpumalanga, South Africa has been divorced by her husband on their honeymoon just a few days after their wedding.

The bridegroom dumped the woman after he saw her with no make-up for the first time according to a psychologist who counselled the unidentified woman.
The 40-year-old groom divorced his 35-year-old bride, said the doctor, because the husband believed she did not look as pretty as before the wedding and accused her of deceiving him by using so many cosmetics, including fake eyelashes.

Dr Molapo, consultant psychologist, said that his clinic received a request from the woman to help her overcome her psychological suffering after her divorce

Reports are that the groom took his bride to Richards Bay for their honeymoon where they had a swim but the outing turned tragic when her face became wet and her makeup reportedly washed away.

The groom said he could barely recognise his wife after the make-up was gone.

The bride wore artificial eyelashes and had undergone cosmetic surgeries before the marriage. The couple who had met on Facebook had been engaged for three months.

As the country prepared for social distancing and eventual lockdown over coronavirus, a Nasarawa councillor grabbed headlines by marrying two brides same day.

Ibrahim Oboshi, councillor for Iwogu ward in Keana council area, and the two brides Nazira Ozegya and Rabi Akose, appeared to have planned their big day together all along. All three names were printed on the invitation cards sent out to guests.

Oboshi married Ozegya in Keana at 10am and Akoshe in Obi at 12 noon on March 28. All three posed with a single cake for photographs as a “triple”. Despite representing his ward, Oboshi claims to be a farmer. Both brides have moved into the same home.

Spain’​s coronavirus death toll has risen by 769 in the country’s largest single-day surge, with reports saying 9,444 health workers treating patients have also tested positive for the virus and bringing the total number of deaths to 4,858.

The Spanish health ministry announced the latest figures on Friday, adding that 64,059 people were now infected with the virus, up from 56,188 over the past 24 hours.

Among these confirmed cases, it said that 9,444 health workers had also tested positive for coronavirus.

Spain ranks fourth for the number of confirmed cases worldwide, according to Johns Hopkins University.

The country’s rate of infection has increased by a fifth and almost 27,000 people are currently being treated in hospital.

In Madrid, the country’s worst-affected region, an ice rink has been converted into a morgue while Real Madrid have said their Santiago Bernabeu stadium will be used to store medical supplies.

On Thursday, Spain extended its coronavirus lockdown for another two weeks until 11 April. Under current rules, people are banned from leaving home except for buying essential supplies and medicines, or for work.

Amid a global shortage in protective equipment, the Spanish government said it was fighting a “war”.

“We are in a real war to get hold of ventilators, face masks and quick test kits,” budget minister Maria Jesus Montero said on Thursday. “All the countries are fighting to secure domestic production, fighting to get supplies from China.”

A native doctor in Sekondi in the Western Region was rushed to the Effia Nkwanta Regional Hospital Wednesday morning over what residents suspect to be broken heart.

Paa Dogo, as the native doctor is affectionately called in Sekondi, according to residents, had fallen in love with a community nurse who was posted to the town about nine months ago.

According to AdomOnline, Paa Dogo first came into contact with the lady when she was sent to Paa Dogo’s place for healing.

According to one resident, Maame Pokua, the nurse found out that her boyfriend who resides in Accra was having an affair with her best friend.

This, per the resident’s account, became unbearable for the nurse which she later tried taking her own life because of the heartbreak.

“She was acting abnormally at a point in time so we even thought she was going mad. A friend she made here sent her to Paa Dogo to heal her and help her overcome the heartbreak,” Maame Pokua stated.

Asked why she was sent to Paa Dogo, Maame Pokua said Paa Dogo is popularly known in Sekondi to cure people of heartbreaks and people with psychiatric problems.

“Paa Dogo was able to heal the nurse through herbal medicines and counseling. He then fell in love with the lady and was buying expensive items for her from his small native doctor business. He asked the nurse out and she agreed to date him,” she said.

Maame Pokua continued, “A few weeks through the dating, Paa Dogo went to the nurse’s place to give her pre valentine flowers only to find the nurse’s ex-boyfriend in bed with her. Paa Dogo dropped the flowers and immediately shouted ‘Aw Jesus, I’m dead.’”

According to report, he was in coma and receiving medical care at the Effia Nkwanta Regional Hospital intensive care unit.

The Lagos state High Court sitting in Ikeja was Tuesday , February 11, told how a 35year-old painter, Dayo Gbadegeshin have been having sexual intercourse with his brother wife during her sleep for more than a year without the wife knowing.

After several interrogations by the police, Dayo confessed that when going to check on his brother’s wife he gets different fruits and drinks for her and got them injected already and he’s gonna wait to make sure she eats a little out of them before leaving.

He speaks further that when he feels she’s already feeling weak he tells her he should be on his way home and left with the intention of coming back after 30mins when the injection would have taken effect and he will Raped her to his satisfaction and leave when he’s okay.

The police stated he was caught in the act when one of their neighbor who they are into thrift contribution together came to check on her and saw him in the act with Mrs Evelyn laying unconscious and the neighbor raised alarm immediately.

He said he regrets his actions and want his brother and other family members to forgive him saying it was the work of the devil.

The husband was dumbfounded while he was receiving the news,Mrs Evelyn has been taken to a hospital for proper treatment.

*8.* Your children don't greet and you just feel they will come around one day because they have a mood swing. (You will be blamed for it)

*9.* Your children eat with their mouths open and you feel they will outgrow it some day.

*10.* Your children bring home something you did not buy for them and you say nothing about it. (That is the beginning of stealing)

*11.* They talk back at you and you conclude it's okay since you're a 21st century mummy. (You will hate yourself if they do that outside and they are disciplined). You'll also be blamed.

*12.* They interrupt when you are speaking with another adult and you think they are bold and clever. (It's really bad manners)

*13.* They exercise authority over their nanny and other domestic staff and you let them be. (That is bad parenting)

*14.* They say things like "my driver is on his way..."
I am not an advocate that children should call your domestic staff aunty or brother but, calling them by names when they are not young people is not poise either. The use of Miss, Mr or Mrs will look good on them.

*15.* Your children don't say- 'Thank you' when they have been helped or served something. They don't know how to say "please" when they need help from someone and you are cool with that. (Bad parenting)

*16.* When your children cannot stand children who are less privileged.

*18.* When they pick their nose with their hands.

*19.* When they don't wash their hands after visiting the washroom.

*20.* When your children take something from the fridge without taking permission. (Bad parenting)

*21.* When your children don't knock on closed doors.

*22.* When your children don't collect from your hands the stuff you brought in as you walk in through the door.

*23.* When your children ask for a bribe to carry out their home chores or extra task.

*24.* When your children act like their grandparents are irritating them.

*25.* When your children have not learnt to get up from the chair for the elderly or visitors to sit.

*26.* When your child tells a lot of lies. (You will both cry in the future if such is not put to check)

*27.* When your child asks "who is that?" at a knock on your door instead of "please, who is there."

*28.* When your child is always seated by your visitors when being served drinks etc.

*29.* When your children still point their fingers at other people.

*30.* When your children play and jump around when prayers are going on. (age 4 above).

Don't be a 21st Century parent who cannot correct a child. Train your child in the right way, so that when he/she grows up he/she will not depart from it.

*IT IS BETTER TO LET YOUR CHILDREN CRY AT AN EARLY AGE WHEN YOU CORRECT THEM, IF NOT YOU WILL BOTH CRY AT NIGHT WHEN THEY BRING DISGRACE TO THE FAMILY WITH BAD AND TERRIBLE BEHAVIOURS!*

A man identified simply as Davy died during a sex competition with a commercial sex worker in a brothel in Ejigbo area of Lagos.

Report had it that the deceased checked into Graceland Brothel located at 21, Moshalasi Street, Ejigbo Lagos, after having a bet of N50,000 with one of the commercial sex workers, Amaka, on who would surrender first from the sex competition.

A friend of the deceased who spoke on the condition of anonymity, disclosed that trouble started after the deceased had boasted among his friends that he could spend two hours on a lady without getting tired.

He added that while the conversation was on, one of them dared him to challenge Amaka, the commercial sex worker, who was described as a champion in the game.

Amaka, as gathered, had challenged some young men in similar competition and won.

However, during Davy’s trial with her, he reportedly slumped while on the ‘seventh-round’.

When contacted, the Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Elkana Bala, described the incident as a Sudden and Unnatural Death, adding that it occurred at about 12.45 am on Sunday
