"Anime is for kids" Yet this is what we have to understand in Jujutsu Kaisen... Wtf is this power system ![]()

NagatoroEnjoyer:I wanna respond well to this ... But I don't know much about mathematics so I'm lost tbh... But from what I know, it's basically the dialogue that makes it more complicated... I'm watching a guy on IG who explains and simplifies JJK power system... He explains it in a way that anyone would understand |
WriterNig:How do people endure an entire season of a show just to rate it 4/10? Do you enjoy torturing yourself? If you aren't enjoying something, just quit |
Rewatching Jujutsu Kaisen season 1 and this weyrey Megumi was about to summon Mahoroga several times in season 1...wtf Baba wan end the series early |
CoolUsername:Cursed Techniques are much more vast and complex than Nen. That is why it was easier to explain the basis of Nen in contained training arcs. It will be hard to do that in JJK...as it would seem like a crazy amount of info dump. It's easier to understand CT when you see them in action. Just look at domain expansion and the various forms of it and means to counter it. - innate domain, domain amplification, etc Look at the difference between Curse Technique reversal and Reverse curse Technique. In Hunter x Hunter, most of Nen can be explained in a few episodes...apart from some Specialist application of Nen and those from the Dark Continent. I think people's issue understanding CT is not actually when it's explained but how it's explained. For example, Gojo used Mathematics to explain his CT in Season 2 episode 2 and it was more confusing... Toji explained Gojo's technique way easier in episode 4... You also have a character like Fake Geto who speaks in ancient manner and thus explains things in a very hard way... |
Minor spoilers for Jujutsu Kaisen Why Yuta can still use Rika despite her soul passing on It gets explained later during Culling Game Arc in season 3 but for those wondering or thinking it's a plothole: In summary, what is left is technically not Rika but merely a husk appearing in the form of Rika containing only a curse but not her soul

Hohenheim:Vinland Saga is way better than Code Geass. Code Geass is a great watch but it has too many writing issues tbh |
I always funny how some people praise "Nen" the Hunter X Hunter power system despite it being complicated... But when it comes to Jujutsu Kaisen, they criticize it for being "unnecessarily complicated and complex" |
DaveDave001:Join the anime train. Plenty 10/10 anime dey |
Jujutsu Kaisen season 2.......10/10 The season was definitely worth the hype. Both the Hidden Inventory Arc and the Shibuya Incident Arc were 🔥🔥🔥 With an arc so hyped I was expecting it to be disappointing. And at first, the Shibuya arc didn't start that great...but it was a mere buildup. And when it kicked...it really kicked. Every episode became a bànger... This season 2 is far better than season 1. I need to rewatch season 1 tho cos a lot of things there were referenced and it's easy to forget. Especially about the cursed wombs, symbols etc Some parts of the season were pretty complicated. Several episodes I had to watch twice to get things especially since I had forgotten a lot of season 1. And the abilities and cursed techniques were super complicated at times too e.g domain amplification...so it took second watches to understand them. And from what I heard, it will get far more complicated in season 3

Achilles100:The entire Tokyo was deserted because of the cursed spirits roaming around or in hiding...most people had evacuated... He wanted to attract them to him to wipe many of them out, so he clapped to make noise and get their attention... There are 10 million curses there |

Jujutsu Kaisen season 2 finale. Wow... incredible direction. Had to watch the episode twice to get it all in. Fake Geto's dialogue is always kinda hard to understand. Mostly because he's at least a thousand years old so the way he speaks is different. And Yuta 🔥🔥🔥 But the Jujutsu council are cràzy...they used this chance to take care of Gojo and his students cos of their issues with him. For those who are wondering, Toge Inumaki lost his arm when Sukuna used his domain expansion. Btw who else noticed the Neon Genesis Evangelion reference when Yuta was speaking to the Jujutsu council. It looked like SEELE from Neon Genesis Evangelion Now I believe Mei Mei made the right choice by absconding from Japan and selling all her shares. Japan and Tokyo especially is fûcked. Fake Geto is bringing back the Heian era to present day. By having a thousand people act as vessels for ancient cursed spirits and sorcerers...since most people are not like Itadori Yuji, these ancient people will take over their vessels.

PinkNature:Netflix can't miss with the ATLA adaptation. There's nothing hard in adapting ATLA as long as the world is developed and it has good visuals. The source material literally has Western dialogue. Not like One Piece where they had to "Westernize" the dialogue. |
nani667:What was epic about that twist? |
abduleez1:Dune part 2 Deadpool 3 Joker 2 I couldn't care less about the other movies on the list |

Blueelf:Lol, my post was actually a meme from AOT but you didn't watch it so you wouldn't know... I mixed some very popular lines... Merry Xmas to you too...and happy new year in advance. I hope you turn a new leaf and stop hating on AOT this new year |
Breath of Life (2023) Nollywood.....9/10 One of the best Nollywood movies I've seen in a long time. It's not perfect and sometimes the acting wasn't convincing...but it really hit the right spots... Some of the narration could have been reduced too but it did work well most times... Like I always say, I don't expect perfection from movies....I just need them to be good enough that the little flaws can be easily ignored...and this movie did that... I would have given some synopsis but I think it would be spoilers as not a lot of people have seen it here... Btw I noticed some people have reviewbombed the score on IMDB and called it white-washing in the manner the movie was directed or so...quite sad that people won't focus on the content of the movie but instead focus on it not being directed the Nigerian hone-video style... We don't want to move forward in this country

oyaskii:@ bolded ![]() The reviewer isn't even hiding his bias |
Blueelf:Me stop posting AOT? No I don't want that... I won't rest...for 10 years at least I will keep posting AOT even if this thread dies..even after it's death |
oyaskii:A lot of people just wanted to trash the movie. I've seen some weird takes on it. Even Critical Drinker's video on it. Although he made some valid criticism, to me it felt like he had already decided to trash the movie even before he watched it. Same as many others...they were just hate-watching it... It was not a good movie imo...but also not the terrible unwatchable movie that some people were claiming... |
oyaskii:Not everyone has residual biasal against Zack Snyder Personally I didn't really care much about him. A 6/10 rating means it's watchable... |
joseph1832:I haven't seen Star Wars...so I don't get your reference... What point am I missing? I said I don't see how a group of townsfolk would fight an empire that has giant spaceships that could nuke them in seconds... Unless for some reason like the fertility of their land, the Empire relies only on ground soldiers... And I literally said we'll see how it goes |
