Abeg explain😂
"You are my Special" is the lyrics of the opening song of the Shibuya Incident Arc in Jujutsu Kaisen season 2. The Shibuya incident led to death of thousands of people including major characters in the show and started a global chaos

The satellite view of Tokyo posted by NASA is quite similar to that of Tokyo in season 2 of Jujutsu Kaisen (cos they are the same but flipped).

The black circle is that of the barrier/veil covering Shibuya expanding as a result of the 10 million cursed spirits released till it covered almost the entire Tokyo

There is no character introduced in the manga after the shibuya arc that's as strong a Yuta. No single one lmao.

He's top 4 in the verse as of now.
Thank you.
I also saw a manga spoiler panel...I don't know if it's a real panel or fake. But it was an image of Yuta beheading one of the most powerful villains in the show

I won't mention the name cos if it's real, its major spoiler

You claim to have rewatched the first season and understand more yet it seems like you still have a lot that you don't get lol.

Mahito trying to kill Itadori and actually killing Itadori is not the same thing, again Itadori almost dieing against choso and successful dieing are not the same thing.

Sukuna hates Itadori and everything he stands for and enjoys watching him get beat down to within an inch of his life and suffer for his own twisted amusement but that does not mean he wants Itadori dead at least not while they are trapped in the same body. Sukuna could have easily killed Itadori any number of times when he was in control but doesn't because he needs Yuji alive.

He tore out Itadori's heart and kept him alive barely by keeping Yuji's soul in his domain in the first season just to prove a point but still went ahead to heal him back up why? Because they are in some sort of parasitic relationship and he needs yuji alive more than Yuji actually needs him like the unwanted passenger that he is.

Which led to both of them making that binding vow in which sukuna is allowed to be able to forcibly switch for a limited time on one condition only which is that he will not hurt or kill any of Itadori's friends or people that he cares about.

So Yuji being in control is not an excuse and sukuna can force the switch especially if the body they both share is dying but that doesn't mean he won't wait until the very last second to do so just out of spite.

How do you effectively kill someone to make sure that there is no chance of survival in JJk? We saw Toji make that mistake and he paid for it. Which means in order for Yuta to kill Itadori he will have to either behead him or have Rika tear him apart right? So how will Sukuna move about in a headless Yuji's body? Or Crawl about on his hands and torso? It's one thing to use reverse technique to heal a wound and another to regenerate an entirely new head or lower body not to even mention that he is linked to Itadori's soul and there's a 90% chance that if Yuji dies then sukuna dies and loses the vessel thereby derailing his plans until another one of his fingers makes its way into some other host.

Even Uraume tried as much as possible not to deal any life threatening damage to Yuji when she was facing off against the jujutsu sorcerers and said everyone of them can die EXCEPT Itadori because Sukuna needs him alive at least until he finds a more suitable vessel. So he will ultimately have to get involved and he will (Manga) even though momentarily.

It's quite funny that someone who only watches the anime thinks he knows more and enough to hold an argument with a manga reader😂
Mahito definitely tried to kill Itadori before Todo saved Itadori. This was in the episode after Nobara's death.

The point is that Sukuna can't just intervene. So saying Itadori cannot die because of Sukuna is funny. I believe it was Fake Geto or so in S2 who even said that Sukuna will never take over Itadori's body.

Same as the Choso fight...Sukuna couldn't intervene unless Itadori decides to switch or many fingers are swallowed at once

Whether Sukuna needs Itadori alive or not doesn't matter much cos Itadori is in charge of the body. If he doesn't switch, Sukuna loses with him.

I know about the pact and that Itadori doesn't recall it.

Why Sukuna no switch when Mahito was about to kill Itadori...if not for Todo, Itadori was dead.
Same as the Choso incident

I never said I know more than a manga reader. But when arguing about anime-only fact, it makes 0 sense to start pulling up manga characters we haven't seen or whose feats we haven't seen in the anime.

Strictly anime only speaking... Yuta is one of the strongest in the verse and far stronger than Itadori

GrimValor:
Lmao What you wrote up there was that Yuta was one of the strongest characters in the universe and when I called your bullsh*t you quickly swerved and introduced an afterthought to suit your argument saying you meant only the anime and manga this manga that, like the manga is some foreign entity and not the source material from which the anime is being adapted.

If Mappa likes let it take them 20years to animate, it will still happen. So trying to separate the manga from the anime whenever it suits you is a bit redundant when you were one of, if not the first to drop hints about the winner of the Gojo Vs Sukuna battle here when most of us that follows the manga saw it and kept quiet.

But all of a sudden you are now shying away from the same manga that you claim not to follow but always somehow seem to know whenever something big is happening or happens in the said manga🤣

What feats has Yuta even done in the anime that he has been absent from for over 40 episodes to warrant him being one of the strongest aside from beating a Geto who he shouldn't have under normal circumstances, a Geto who wasn't even operating at peak performance as a result of splitting his resources like you said? So how is he now one of the strongest?

Itadori has done more in the anime than Yuta, Itadori is always one of the first to jump in and throw down with any opponent irrespective of whether or not he can actually win. So your argument about Yuta being one of the strongest holds no water when he hasn't even been around enough to actually do much.
This is bûllshit because I don't read the manga. If there are strong characters introduced later...I don't know...

But in the anime so far, Yuta is one of the strongest in the verse.

The Gojo v Sukuna spoiler was something everyone saw. It was all over Twitter, tiktok, Reddit etc...it was literally impossible to avoid. People were making Among Us memes and "Nah, I'd win" memes...

Knowing about that spoiler doesn't prove I follow the manga because literally every anime-only has seen that spoiler.

Now back to the argument. Yuta spent a few months at Jujutsu High and was strong enough to defeat a Special Grade and one of the strongest Jujutsu sorcerers of that time in Geto. We know that Gojo and Geto were seen as the strongest in their time.

Yuta defeated that Geto even though Geto was on handicap...that is a feat far greater than anything Itadori has ever acheived.

Itadori literally lost to Choso and would have been dead if not for him being Choso's brother or something... (I guess they will fully explain that in S3)

Itadori is still a first grade sorcerer while Yuta has been special grade for a year. They are not mates.

In fact the only reason people rate or notice Itadori is because he is Sukuna's vessel...
Yuta made a name for himself...

Unless somehow Itadori becomes stronger in the manga...so far in the anime, Yuta claps Itadori easily...

Itadori when lose to Choso cannot beat Yuta at all

Yuta one of the strongest characters in the universe 😂, You must be joking....He maybe strong for your average high schooler but that's all he is. Yuta being able to beat Suguru with his years of experience and the sheer amount of curses he had absorbed over time was laughable at best and was nothing more than a plot point to set up the Shibuya incident.

Yuta didn't win against Suguru because he was stronger he only won because Geto had to be taken out of the equation for kenjaku to take over his body and Yuta was just the tool used to further that narrative. No student of jujutsu high can go one on one with mahito and not get clapped not even Yuta.

If you were to make a list of top 10 strongest characters in JJK he won't make the list with the likes of kashimo and Angel running around, Heck if you were to push things a bit further with the number of new characters released by Kenny in Shibuya and the amount of OP characters taking part in the culling games and those that are yet to join he might not even make top 20🤣.
He is just an overhyped kid nothing more.
Again, we are talking anime. Stop mentioning manga. I don't read the manga. The anime S2 just ended.

And in the anime so far, Yuta is one of the strongest characters in the verse.

Even Gojo recognized his strength and mentioned him when he was being sealed. Fake Geto also recognized it but said Yuta is not on the same level as Gojo.

Yuta winning Geto in the movie is not plot armor...rather Fake Geto explained that it was because Geto divided his forces. Most of his curses were keeping the other sorcerers busy.

Yuta currently in the anime is definitely far stronger than Itadori. Itadori will get clapped easily if he faces Yuta.

I don't read the manga kindly refrain from Manga spoilers

You do realize that in this case Itadori and Sukuna are one and the same? And Sukuna won't allow his vessel to be killed and would have to eventually intervene before it happens.

Besides it's just and elaborate ruse between Yuta and Gojo to free Itadori from his binding vow with Sukuna (Check the manga). So Yuta was basically gaslighting those old fools in that scene when he said he was going to kill Itadori Yuji.
I didn't ask for manga spoilers thank you. We were discussing the anime and where it is at.

Saying Sukuna would intervene is funny. Mahito has been trying to kill Itadori since and Sukuna never intervened unless Mahito touched his soul.

Itadori almost died against Chosso and Sukuna never intervened lol.
Itadori is in control of that body, not Sukuna...Sukuna cannot take over on his own, so he cannot intervene.

Sukuna only took over temporarily in Shibuya because Itadori was fed over 10 fingers at the same time

Jujutsu Kaisen season 1 rewatch

This was way better than I remembered. So much was really set up in this first season that pays off in the second season.

A lot of the lore, world, power system...

Nobara was even stronger than I remembered. I'm glad she got the win against one of those Death Paintings.

After rewatching season 1, I can say that Nobara's relationship with Itadori and Megumi was great. The problem is that they didn't spend much time together in season 2 and S1 aired since 2020 so that's why it was kinda hard for some people to be as attached to Nobara as much...

Fake Geto is so sleek. The way he plans everything. You could tell from S1 he was playing 4D chess...

Man Season 2 Shibuya arc is so depressing after S1. Even in life or death moments, S1 still kept this hype mood...
S2 was just heartbreak after heartbreak. The good guys kept losing in S2...them no see single win

They deceived us with wins in Season 1.

🤦‍♂️SMH....When some over glorified support character who is always inconspicuously absent whenever big sh*t is going down.

Only to show up for all of 2 minutes and starts mouthing off about killing the current vessel of the most powerful character in his universe, like he is talking about some dumb low level curse scurrying about in dark alleys. What a joke 😒
Yuta has been absent throughout the series. He's been in Africa training since the movie which occured a year before JJK season 1.

I believe he was called back only because of the Shibuya event. He's not the only one I believe. Hakari who was also mentioned and hyped since season 1 has also been absent.

Apart from Shibuya, what other major event that rocked the Jujutsu world has happened? The last major event was the event that occured in the movie. So why would Yuta be called before??

Yuta is Special Grade and one of the strongest characters in the universe. He defeated Geto who was also Special Grade...and Yuta has been training since and is even way stronger now.

Itadori is not on Yuta's level at all...
Even Mahito was probably not on Yuta's level...

Yuta has never met Itadori but he knows Itadori is a small fry to him...
Only Sukuna is a threat...not Itadori

Exactly what does it bring into reality here, though?

Mathematically, an infinite number of progressively smaller halfway points converges to one whole. So what is his power doing here, is it creating those halfway points, is it cutting the speed of the attack at that same rate, or is it doing both?

This is why I said that it could've been better explained.
Me I don't understand all that mathematics...
What I understand is that it slows down attacks until they come to a standstill

Then Gojo uses Blue to attract objects and people.

After his close death encounter, he finally mastered how to reverse cursed techniques. He applied this to Reverse Curse Technique and Cursed Technique Reversal which follow the same principle.

He uses Reverse Curse Technique to heal himself.

While he uses Cursed Technique Reversal to reverse or create an opposite of his cursed Techniques hence Red - which is the power to repel (repel is the opposite of attract)

He combines both Blue and Red to form purple which is constantly repelling and attracting

What I like about the nen system is the way you generally have to deduce what an opponent can do. Even extremely powerful nen users have to be cautious of the triggering traps and conditions of their opponent's abilities no matter how weak they are.

JJK's power system is not bad at all. It's just, like I said before, not very well explained and may have a few weird elements like Domain Expansion which, in my opinion, is just a glorified power struggle. It's basically insta-death for a weaker opponent while a stronger one can just cheese their way through. If it was kept as something closer to Simple Domain, then it would have been a great way to tip the scale in favour of a fighter. I just think the sure-hit effect is ridiculous.

All in all, JJK has a good power system, it may not be perfect but it is still very solid.
Very few sorcerers in JJK can use Domain Expansion...it's been said that it's far easier for curses to use it than for sorcerers.

And Domain expansion is just an outer manifestation of the Innate Domain that everybody has...

Besides Domain expansion is not a sure kill ....it is a sure-hit. You attacks just can't be evaded, they can instead by blocked through cursed energy. You can still be defeated easily inside your domain.

And there are various ways to counter it, including using a stronger domain to either overpower the domain or create an area where the sure-hit won't work inside the domain.
You can also use the simple domain.

JJK power system is poorly explained sometimes, I agree on that...it's explanation sometimes makes it more complicated to understand. But once you can understand what each technique does, you don't need all the mathematics or biology or chemistry...unless you want full knowledge of how everything works...

The problem is that some people think they have to understand the mathemathics and as such they give up on understanding it...

the main criticism I've seen of this is that while nen system is deep and complex, the cursed energy system while complex is only skin deep.
I find that selective criticism.

It's mostly from people who don't understand the JJK power system so they complain that it's unnecessarily convoluted because they don't understand it...instead of trying to actually understand it

I saw a post on r/anime yesterday. Some people were complaining that they didn't understand the JJK power system and were downvoting everyone who said they understood it.

Some other people had to call them out. Cos what they were doing was "I don't understand this so it's bad and everyone who says he understands it gets downvoted"

Vinland Saga
Jujutsu Kaisen

And the writing in season 2 improved it...so what?

The first season was lots of action but season 2 improved everything from a storytelling and writing perspective...

So what exactly is your issue? The Hidden Inventory arc in S2 for example did a lot of character work that made me love the series more...

So what exactly is bad about a show improving and impressing me?

You speak as if someone must hold the exact same impression of a show from the beginning to the end of that show.

Besides I did love JJk season 1...I recommended it here many times before season 2 aired.
