toluxe0075:I was also the one who posted the Arcane teaser. But I'm wondering what connection these have....cos I also posted about other shows like Jujutsu Kaisen. What is your point exactly? In other news, it seems all episodes of Death's Game are out |
Fûck!!! I just realized that Hanami died in Jujutsu Kaisen season 2 because she broke the pact she made with Mechamaru not to harm the students from Kyoto... It was one of the conditions for the pact she made with Mechamaru for him to act as their mole. The other was for Mahito to heal Mechamaru Wow... Small but insane detail... |

One of the best articles I've seen on the Attack on Titan 🤝🤝 The Nazi and World War allegories are insane... That is why people who lack media literacy call it Fascist or Nazi-propaganda

Just saw this page on Twitter from the Jujutsu Kaisen manga... Holy shît!!! See how a power is explained in the manga... Me here wondering how they will animate this explanation... But at least I'd rather rewatch and understand it, than cry that it makes no sense like people who don't understand it

Chibudollar:Just rewatch season 1 when S2 drops in November. I'm gonna do the same sef |

Kaycee7:What will happen to every other show airing that period? 😏 Not everyone is you, you know... People will still watch other things they enjoy along with Arcane if they enjoy it 💀💀💀 I have a feeling it will even air at the same time as Invincible season 3 sef |
Btw, from all the rumours... INVINCIBLE season 2 should air by February. It seems it was only delayed because Amazon want to roll out new ads at the end of January so they delayed Invincible to make more ad money from it. I guess we wait one more month then |
. |
Arcane season 2 first look I heard the first season cost about $100m to produce. How wonder how much a second season would cost. Anyway, I can't wait to binge both seasons at once cos I can't remember a single thing about season 1. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M9GeSbz9478?si=uSjqn0H5kocpfl1W |
Chibudollar:I thought it's not a problem since it's not baddestguyp that posted it |
johnyace:It's been 1000 episodes and we are still getting new revelations about Luffy and some hints pointing to some surprising twists... You should learn a little more about his family in Season 2...and a lot more around maybe season 5 or 6 if it follows the anime. But that's if the show goes on for that long |
Someone was asking for ecchi anime and complaining that we no longer get them. Well I have news for you. Mato Seihei no Slave has started airing. I heard there will be both censored and uncensored versions. But that so far episode 1 has nothing to censor...but from episode 2 there should be differences
|
johnyace:One Piece? The situation is actually more complex than that... I've seen the anime... More will be expanded on in later seasons... Especially about Garp, Luffy, his family, the world government, etc I can't tell you anything without spoilers |
Baddestguyp:In summary, these people are not serious |
Chibudollar:Quoted from an article I saw: Recently, a rumored release date for Season 2, Episode 5 of Invincible made the rounds, but an official update from Amazon called the story into question. Invincible fans have understandably been champing at the bit to learn when the animated series' two-part, 8-episode second season returns for its second half after its first four episodes aired in November 2023. The release window Invincible Season 2 Part 2 was officially announced as “Early 2024” last year. What’s more is that producer Simon Racioppa remarked in November that fans might need to wait a “few weeks or months” for more installments of the series. On November 24 last year, X user DynamoSuperX posted ”Invincible returns January 4. y’all can chill,” along with an image supporting his claim. But no official announcement has been made to confirm that rumor. Fast forward a month: A 2024 press release has been issued from Amazon Studios, detailing the new content it intends to bring to its Amazon Prime Video streaming platform for January 2024. Discouragingly, Invincible Season 2, Episode 5 was absent from the release. Invincible Season 2 Part 2 could still be added to this month's release slate in the weeks ahead. However, its omission does make a January release for Episode 5 much less likely. It’s worth noting that a release window for the rest of At this point, fans shouldn't expect Invincible S2E5 to release until February 2024 at the earliest, unless a January miracle happens and it premieres late this month. |

abduleez1:All these stories yet you failed to prove the whole spoilers claim about JJK. I've already explained how I avoided posting major spoilers on JJK here immediately they drop. It's not my fault that you are busy for weeks and unable to watch episodes so you see those major spoilers here when I finally post them. I have done the minimum required for spoilers by avoiding major spoilers for days after the episode airs. Random screenshots with no context aren't major spoilers. You have to understand that when a popular show is airing, people will discuss it. So when you're too busy to watch it, you have to take steps by yourself to avoid these spoilers. Whenever I haven't seen a JJK episode, I tend to avoid Twitter, YouTube, tiktok because of massive spoilers...until I see the episode. You said you didn't watch SILO but I did the same during SILO. I avoided this thread until I watched episodes of SILO. I cannot stop others from discussing it just because I'm too busy to watch it. That's on me and not them. At most if they choose to, they can give some time before discussing major spoilers here but it's left for me to take effort to avoid those spoilers. And you should have done that instead of complaining. I'm not gonna take weeks to discuss an episode just be because you were too busy to watch it. For the other part of your post, I never said you ran away from discourse. You are not among the people who run away. I know them, many here know them. They state things and when someone asks them to defend it, they run away with one excuse or the other. And calling me a serial offender is quite funny. What spoilers have I posted on the movie thread. For the past year I haven't watched a single movie in the cinema. So when I review movies it's mostly movies that have been out for months in the cinema. Many times when I review a movie I always state in my review that I will limit spoilers as much as possible. So what offence. Your whole issue with me seems to stem from my take on Superhero movies rather than anything to do with spoilers. And you try to make it seem like I have a bad reputation when it's just you and the same 4-5 guys who support each other on every post and I'm one of the few people on the movie/series thread who will stick to my base and defend my point rather than run away from the gang up. There's a reason why you guys have also been called out by others for forming a circlejerk clique. Fun fact I'm not even the one who noticed it first or who called you out first. Others did. You can't claim i'm playing the victim when others called you out first Case in point below: RayMcBlue:. |
How the Rumbling scenes in Attack on Titan portray the duality of human nature I love the way the fact that the Rumbling scenes portrayed in the show isn't just focused solely on mass slaughter but what it does best it show the nature of humans even in the face of global extermination and also the suffering of the innocent who had no part in the sin of humans and the war and genocide but ultimate forced to suffer for it. In the first special episode, we see the more selfish side of humans - robbing stores, pushing each other to escape, a driver trying to escape alone with his vehicle and people forcing him out of it and taking the vehicle for themselves etc. We see more of the dark side of Humanity in the face of destruction. But at the same time, we do see innocent people, children, mothers etc. We see Ramzi and his brother Halil who are also victims of war trying to survive...it shows us the Rumbling from a more personal and grounded perspective instead of solely random people dying. In the second special episode, we see a more hopeful side of humanity. We see people in different cultures and regions praying together in the face of the apocalypse. We see the crowd at the cliff uniting to at least save one innocent baby from the sins of humanity and from the monster born out of those. We see a mother saving her baby despite the cost of her life. These humans were not struggling solely to survive for themselves but rather united to save a nameless innocent baby from this mindless slaughter even if it cost them their life. A baby who should not pay for the sins humanity had committed for 2000 years in the story. It shows hope and shows the duality of man. It shows that while humans may be selfish and focus on self preservance, others can unite to save a life. We see this in the real world too where some people have willingly given up their lives to save the life of others. While some humans may be evil and wicked and racist, others may kind and considerate. For me this is my favourite part of the Rumbling scenes which some apocalyptic movies and shows fail to depict. It shows both the apocalypse from a personal perspective and analyzes the duality of man in the face of this apocalypse. And that is why I appreciate AOT and every other apocalyptic show or movie that does this and is able to pull it off well. Showing the horror of the apocalypse from a young innocent perspective and also Focusing on telling a story about the duality of human nature through destruction and apocalypse. I always appreciate when apocalyptic shows/movies do this tbh instead of focusing on mindless slaughter. Yes this is another AOT wànk-post...you can as well ignore it instead of complaining.

To reiterate the last point above: some of the best way to know people on this thread who have no point or counter point is when they are asked to defend their statements on this thread or even their ratings/score... And they respond with either of these: 1. It is my opinion and you should respect it solely because it is my opinion (and avoid defending it) 2. I won't enter discourse with you (and run away instead of defending their statements) |
abduleez1:I tried to keep my JJK posts here as spoiler free as possible until 24 hours. I did same during Nobara's death. All I mentioned the day it aired was that the episode was pain. I believe it was some days later I posted images of her eyes being removed (which is not a spoiler since it was just a detail people missed in the episode of her eyes popping out). I didn't even talk about Nanami's death even days after the episode aired just to keep things spoiler free... Posting random photos from the episode that doesn't give much context or doesn't have much spoilers isn't the same as major spoilers tbh... And even at that it does not justify manga spoilers. This is a series thread. Anime series are allowed. Manga spoilers on the other hand are not allowed. But you do you The funny thing is that many people here have posted spoilers before me....for JJK especially the major ones. Or what about SILO that I had to keep avoiding this thread until I watched the episodes cos of the insane spoilers here...I didn't see you complain about these people then... The rest of your post shows that your issues with me extend beyond these spoilers or maybe the spoilers aren't even the issue in the first place since you do not make the same complaints about others. And finally, that is not a reason to run away from discourse on this thread. Some people on this thread tend to run away from discourse when they have no point or counter point. Like the dudes who ran away from discourse regarding Rebel Moon or the 2 guys who till date have not been able to back up their statement about AOT being overrated or "only thing good about AOT is Mikasa" |
junketer:Keep crying. It's not like you post anything here to contribute. You just show up once in a while to complain about anime posts and disappear |
nani667:This is a weird rating imo. I don't see how you can rate that season anything less than an 8/10... Would love to understand why you gave such a low score tbh |
abduleez1:How many spoilers I don do for JJK? Even Nobara's death I waited almost 24 hours after the episode aired before posting it. Is it my fault that you aren't watching JJK weekly? No be me send you to be waiting till episodes piles up. You should know that the longer you wait, the more likely you'd run into spoilers. . Na just 20mins episodes, instead of watching it as e dey release, you dey wait weeks... Don't blame me for that... People discuss episodes when it's fresh, not after weeks |
