MrSinister:keep Crying |
MrSinister:things are in their right place. I posted about an animated series in the series thread If you don't like it, you can keep crying |
MrSinister:and how is it your business where I post my content? |
MrSinister:series na series |
Anybody following Bleach TYBW? These new captains are weak af... How did these guys get promoted to captain wtf... One superstar clown took out two captains easily... It's like Soul Society gets weaker with each passing generation... Glad to see people like Rukia and Renji step up |
SOZINN:I have no interest in seeing this movie It was obvious that it was gonna be the usual generic action thriller jumping around exotic locations with no serious plot... These are the kind of movies that AI will have no problem writing |
A fish called Wanda (1988) Don't know how but these classic movies are more fun to watch than most recent Hollywood movies
|
Lolita (1997) I don't know what to rate this classic pèdophilia movie. I know it's the second adaptation of a controversial book. If you can't already guess from the title...it's a story about an adult man who became obsessed with a 14 years old girl I'm not sure what exactly is the message here but I enjoyed the movie even though I felt really uncomfortable at times

Digital is always a chance to reflect changes in directional choice The differences I've seen so far are very minor I'm pretty sure they'll still release the Theatrical cut later
|
Ishilove:fair enough... If this is what you meant...then no p |
Ishilove:that is not really a character arc... It's simply a case of a villain obtaining more powers... A character arc is an inner/outer journey of a character where the character develops as a result of various events they experience Spot as a character did not face any inner obstacle. Right from when Miles met him, he always hated Miles and blamed Miles for destroying his life and his goal was to take revenge on Miles... He simply acquired more powers to achieve his goal...nothing else changed in Spot... It was because he became more powerful that Miles began to take him seriously... That is not really a character arc...that is just a villain obtaining more powers to achieve his goal Except you're just trying to use the phrase "character arc" in its loosest sense |
Calibrator:that animation can easily cause seizures... Yesterday at a point I had to take my eyes off it... I'm not a fan of the animation style at all |
Ishilove:which villain? Spot has no character arc tho Miguel isn't a villain...more of an Antagonist imo... And so far I support him...unless proven otherwise... He's acting rationally so far... His methods may not be the best but he's rational, while Miles is emotional... Of course, that's not to say that Miles is not understandable. Miles is doing what anyone in his shoes would do... Attempt to see if you could save both his father and his universe... Even though so far he doesn't seem to have a plan...he chose to at least not give up |
Watching Lolita. Is there no uncensored version? |
pu7pl3:this animation looks ugly bro Looks like some low budget PS1 CGI |
Across the Spider-verse 9/10 *Almost no spoilers.... This movie and Everything Everywhere All At Once are the best multiverse movies. They are the only two instances where I've seen a multiverse explored well While Into The Spiderverse was a good movie, the story carried but the multiverse concept to the extent it was used there was outright terrible. Across the Spiderverse took a terrible concept and made a gem out of it. The story actually had stakes which is super rare for a movie using this concept However the best part of the movie is still the characters and their conflicts...both their personal conflicts and worldview Miles Morales chose to save his father even though the choice might Doom his universe. Unlike others, he doesn't want to give up on the chance that he could somehow save both... It's also easy to understand Miguel's position. He believes a sacrifice has to be made to achieve the greater good. You can see where he is coming from: The Life of one man Vs The Fate of an entire universe... You cannot say Miguel is wrong...neither can you say he is right due to his methods I hope they keep his motivations intact in the final movie...I wouldn't like it if they came up with some lame secret agenda for Miguel...

oyaskii:wow, this movie grossed more than 20x it's budget... Critical Drinker was right...modern movies are too expensive Anyway, I love some classics... Definitely adding this to my watchlist

Poor media literacy is a serious problem... I just watched the latest Jujutsu Kaisen episode I later saw a few people comments complaining about how everything was solved despite Riko's death because it was revealed that there was probably another vessel or some other measure and thus the Jujutsu world survives I think people missed the entire point of this. The episode is focused on Geto's descent and how he questioned the entire purpose of being a sorcerer in Jujutsu High Riko's death meaning nothing adds to Geto's conflict about his job. How the current Jujutsu world hyped up Riko's importance to the extent that she was willing to sacrifice her life for it's survival...and a hit was even put out for her assassination... Yet it all meant nothing...her life that was put on the line to retain the Jujutsu world to save regular humans meant nothing in the end... This was one of the many scenes that made Hero question his purpose. It haunted him... especially the clapping and celebration by the Star group at the death of Riko. He couldn't get it out of his head. Geto went from someone who had so much faith in the world that he was even the one trying to convince a carefree Gojo about the grand purpose of saving regular humans.....to Geto now having a goal to stop the deaths of his comrades and fellow sorcerers who die worthlessly trying to save regular humans... He values Jujutsu sorcerers above all else It now makes more sense why he spared Panda and the other Jujutsu sorcerers in Jujutsu Kaisen movie 0

NeoWanZaeed:Interstellar wasn't that hard to understand... Maybe you didn't watch it carefully... You should always give full concentration when watching Christopher Nolan's movies |

NeoWanZaeed:manga means japanese comics... Most anime are adapted from manga (japanese comics) Hunter X Hunter has a manga where the anime is adapted from...same as how Naruto has a manga and Attack on Titan too |
