I feel Vinland Saga is better than AOT but I can't conclusively determine so cos I haven't fully caught up with this season. So I need more episodes to decide the better anime.

AOT sometimes relies on its action and fantasy settings, that's why most people will find it the more appealing.

AOT isn't necessarily about action... especially the final season...
What makes AOT stand out is the story, themes, characters, plot twists etc

You know AOT has a circular plot... everything is connected even from episode 1...

Vinland Saga also has peak character writing...
You should check out season 2 man...all the new characters are so well written...

most AOT characters aren't really good or evil.
They are just normal people caught in situations and have to make a choice.

Eren and even Floch have a lot of fans who believe they did nothing wrong...

Imo, Eren has never been good or bad. Even as a kid he brutally killed the kidnappers who took Mikasa and saw them as nothing but animals...

The only truely evil characters in AOT in my opinion are:
1. King Fritz (the one who ensalved Ymir 2000 years ago)
2. Sergeant Major Gross (the one who fed Grisha's sister to his dog)

This concludes the story of the long awaited clash better Baki and his father, Yujiro

Baki series delivered as expected from the show...
Hype!!! Action!!! Big muscular men performing superhuman feats!!!

But most of all, this part showed focus on the father and son relationship between Baki and Yujiro. Their relationship was not the usual father and son relationship but it was good imo

They also did a short flashback to the events that led to Baki wanting to fight his father and how Yujiro killed Baki's mother and all...

you ignored everything the show had to offer and focused entirely on a single "filler" episode.

The machine repair thing wasn't a big deal in the books from what I heard, the show just changed and expanded it...

Even if you ignore that episode 3, there are still 9 more episodes


For cracking cases...I don't think it was so.
Her entire motivation for becoming a Sheriff was to investigate what happened to her lover. She had no interest in the workings of the SILO or judicial.

And the only investigative work she really did were from the clues her dead lover left her and the people she already knew from before she became the Sheriff.

She showed no special investigative skills. Instead she had help from her dead lover and her friends/acquaintances

So I'm not sure what you mean by calling it woke
