Islam for Muslims / Re: Islamic Rulings On Birth Control by bafsonbaf: 10:28am On Apr 19, 2019
Note:im a Muslim
In as much as i hate reading hate comments i also hate to see children on our streets without proper upkeep i.e,Almajiris but come to think of it. In islam there ar rules which when a person is fully certified it become permissible for him to marry morethan one wife.
1.He must bear in his mind that he will love and treat them equally
2.He must be satisfied that he can carter for there needs as against cartering for only one wife without changes
3.He must be able to satisfy them but sexually or in all manners i.e the previous wife must not see changes.

But tell me are we really certifying such conditions? The answer is only less of us. The issue of birth control i don't think is the main cause rather marrying morethan one wife without been able to certisfy such above conditions

Politics / Re: Plateau Killings: Questions Fayose Is Asking Buhari On Attacks by bafsonbaf: 3:18pm On Jun 27, 2018
dammy13:
Ekiti State Governor, Ayo Fayose, has criticised President Muhammadu Buhari for not arresting the Chairman, North Central zone of Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria, MACBAN, Danladi Ciroma, after his claim that the killing of the 86 persons was in retaliation to the death of over 300 cows in the last few weeks by the affected villagers.

We reported that Danladi Ciroma, was quoted saying that, “These attacks are retaliatory. As much as I don’t support the killing of human being, the truth must be told that those who carried out the attacks must be on revenge mission.

“There have been recent reports of cow rustling and destruction of farms between Berom farmers and Fulani herdsmen. The people carrying out these criminal activities are well known to the communities but the communities are hiding them.”

However, reacting, Fayose on Twitter urged Buhari to deal with the ‘perpetrators of the evil act as terrorists.’

He said, ”One question Nigerians should be asking President Buhari is; has anyone been arrested for the killing of over 200 people in Plateau.

”200 people killed in one day by people said to be retaliating loss of cows is a national disaster that should attract decisive actions not speeches.

”In saner climes, Presidents don’t go to sleep when over 200 of their citizens, including children are murdered, they take decisive actions to bring perpetrators to book and prevent reoccurrence. But here in Nigeria, our president sees killing of over 200 people as two fighting.

”President Buhari, killings by herdsmen is not Farmers/Herdsmen clash. It is not a case of two fighting. Rather, it is terrorism. Deal with perpetrators as terrorists and you will see these senseless killings coming to an end.”

I am a PMB supporter but if the communities dont want the fulanis in their communities, the fulanis should leave immediately. What is this sef. Must they graze in somebody's land if thr the person doesnt want?[every Nigerian born in Nigeria or outside Nigeria either of whose parent or grand parent belongs to Nigeria is an indigene of Nigeria, and what. are u saying Nigeria is for everybody. in as long as a cow does not worth a human life, why must u kill their cow since you know the value it more than their lifes.

For instance can EFCC rush to arrest Femi Otedola if there was a misunderstanding?
Which EFCC would dare go to Kano to arrest Dangote?
Is this really how to treat a pioneer like Innosun, the first indeginous car manufacturer in Africa?

Rubbish
U spend 6yrs studying Nigeria law only to decide to disobey the law at the end. If the Nigerian law profession is not good for their kind of Islam, why study it?
Islam permits beating of someone's wife, so assuming this girl becomes a judge and the issue of assault is brought to her by a hajiya, she will place the tenets of Quran above the law.

She is better off studying Islamic studies. Secular law is a haram, as long as the quran is not the Constitution, rather the Constitution was coined by unbelievers, then she has no business with it. She should have concentrated on becoming a sharia lawyer.

Politics / Re: Tuface Protest: Ezekwesii Blasts Buhari, Osinbajo As Civic Group Pledges To Cont by bafsonbaf: 5:07pm On Feb 05, 2017
[quote author=hansyllo post=53433133]A former Minister of Education, Oby Ezekwesili, has berated the Nigerian government for the cancellation of the planned anti-government protest.

Popular Nigerian hip-hop artiste, Innocent Idibia, better known as Tuface, who had been at the vanguard of a much-publicised February 6 anti-government protest, cancelled the plan on Saturday, citing “security challenges”.

“Dear Nigerians, after due consultations, it has become clear that the #OneNigeria protest scheduled to hold in Lagos and Abuja on Monday the 6th of February is under serious threat of hijack by interests not aligned with our ideals,” the multiple award winning musician said.

“The point I am intent on making is not worth the life of any Nigerian. It is, in fact, motivated by the need to demand a better deal for the ordinary Nigerian.

“I therefore announce the cancellation of the planned protest. We’ll share further information in due course,” he added.
The planned protest gained traction with several public figures and civil society groups pledging to be part of it on Monday.

Tuface called for nationwide protest against Nigeria’s worsening economic crisis that has seen costs of goods and services skyrocket, with many families struggling to survive.

But police warned against the protest after initially promising to provide security. Police authorities said on Friday they had “credible intelligence” that other groups were planning a counter protests on the same day and at the same venues, saying the event could turn violent.

But in a series of tweets on Sunday morning, Mrs. Ezekwesili, a vocal member of #BringBackOurGirls campaign group, called on President Muhammadu Buhari to allow Nigerians cry out their pains.

On her verified twitter handle, @Obyezeks, she tweeted, “Mr. Pres @MBuhari Mr. VP @ProfOsinbajo Allow the people of your Land CRY OUT their pain on Monday. LISTEN, EMPATHIZE & RETHINK POLICIES.”

Explaining further, the former minister decried the claim of Nigerian Police that it could not secure participants at the protest.

“Mr. Pres @MBuhari Mr. VP @ProfOsinbajo Your Govt CANNOT SECURE YOUR CITIZENS THAT WANT TO GATHER AND SPEAK THEIR PAIN TO YOU? Haba. Haba,” Mrs. Ezekwesili said.

“Mr. Pres @MBuhari Mr. VP @ProfOsinbajo The people of your Land are CRYING OUT in PAIN. Ask God for WISDOM to GIVE THEM A GOOD ANSWER,” she added.

She also implored the Nigerian government to listen to citizens’ plight and not bully them into silence.

“Mr. Pres @MBuhari Mr. VP @ProfOsinbajo When the people of your Land CRY OUT in PAIN saying, “Lighten our yoke”, you listen NOT REPRESS,” she wrote.

In its reaction to the announced cancellation by Tuface, a civic group, Enough is Enough Nigeria, has said it will proceed with it without the pop star.

In a tweet through its official handle, @EiENigeria, at 11:19 p.m. on Saturday, the group announced its resolve to go ahead with the protest without Tuface, adding that it respects the artiste’s decision.

“We respect @official2baba’s security concerns but the marches in #Lagos & #Abuja will go ahead. #IStandWithNigeria #OneVoiceNigeria,” the group said.

Meanwhile, mixed reactions have trailed the cancellation announced by Tuface.

Ogo chris, a twitter user, said: “2baba was just a voice. Nigerians are stronger than the forces that be. Common Nigerians we can!”

Toni bliss, another follower, tweeted, “thanks for the leap. will never take tubaba serious for anything in my life. the protest must GO ON. #ISTANDWITHNIGERIA.”

Another user, opposed to the rally and tweeting via @Woye1, said ” no March again. Better go to ur office on Monday. Security officers should do d needful. Go and make money.”

why can't you sent the on useless set of senators to represent you? perhaps what's the use of uniform there or is there any constitutional mandate that mandate him to wear uniform
