sometimes ,
oh damn, i dont even know what to say.
why cant we just be reliable for once?
the only ray of light that i think can come out of this is that perhaps they will all sit down and fix the problems with our team that has lingered for far too long now.
no more bloody excuses. embarassed huh angry

hey guys and gals, lets go easy on the insults, pls. the humour in this is somehow lost on u.
i think the thread starter meant it all as a one big joke and for us all to roll over ourselves in laughter. he couldnt possibly have experienced all that now, not even in a hundred years, abi?

lets lighten up please. grin cheesy

TravelRe: Your First Day On A Plane by bagoma(f): 9:16pm On Jan 29, 2007
my first time was about 7 years ago, i was excited b4 the trip but hated it immediately cos the minute it started taxiing i became so damned scared.
once we were airborne i was ok but as soon as i remembered i was thousands of feet above the ground my heart will leap to my throat. i remember looking back at my life and wondering if i had lived right. cheesy
up till now i cant figure out which i hate the most, take-off or landing? my ear drums almost exploded that day.
it still happens everytime, dont know how to deal with the ear thing, nothing seems to work.
now i only fly if i cant avoid it.

CultureRe: Thunder Bolt (Magun): Myth Or Reality? by bagoma(f): 9:42pm On Jan 09, 2007
i have never seen with my own eyes but i've heard stories,
the closest i came to witnessing a case of "magun" was some years back, i was passing by a police station and saw hundreds of people gathered while the policemen tried to disperse the crowd, on enqiury as to what was going on,
i was told a man and a woman were carried in to the station that they 'glued' together during sex.
i didnt see them with my eyes but i believe it does exist.
yes i believe it does.

after the match they all shut their traps, now its chelski's turn and as the last time we'll be coming from a backdrop of poor performances before the big one.

SportsRe: Help! Im A Football Addict But Have Found Myself In The Banking Industry by bagoma(f): 8:46pm On Nov 30, 2006
ifeoluwa, i feel you, some of us are into jobs that not fulfilling but out of neccesity find themselves doing what they had to do.
in this, you are not alone!

well, i dont know if u have any training in sports journalism or administration. i am thinking that you could start writing articles for sports dailies/magazines in the little spare time you have, it could be in the middle of the night.
you post them to editors and see if they like them, then you take it up from there.

i will not advise you give up ur job now without getting something concrete. but by all means pursue your dreams. lot of sacrifice must be done (like your sleep and working extra hard)

i am sure other nairalanders here will have other suggestions.

best of luck.
