European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: At Last, Thierry Henry Is Off To Barca by bagoma(f): 8:25pm On Jun 23, 2007
i dont know what to think. still sorting my thouhgts. still as confused as ever. huh undecided
when i heard the news today, my first tot was "what the hell?
then there was anger, then shock at the ridiculous amount (but its begining to make sense tho, going by some stories making the rounds and i think that barca is taking a huge risk on him considering his performance last season and the sum does make a wee bit of sense when you think about that.)
now back to my thoughts, i later just shrugged and said
life goes on,
yes the end and the begining of another era for arsenal.
we will just wait and see what happens.
damn!

hi,
i can feel ur pain my dear,
i am not an extrovert myself and i can understand what you're saying.
but i dont think running away is the solution. like someone said you might get another job that requires similar responsibilties, what happens then? you run again?
i think this is a psychological issue and might require you see a psychiatrist or a psychologist.
goodluck.

ok girl,
i think thats a good step.
lets see what happens after this. how he responds.
the time off will do you good (though will be painful), just clear your head and be yourself.

now this is what i'm expecting from him;
when he doesnt hear from you for a few days after such a message, he should make the effort to come see you. anything less is unacceptable. thats my view.

Music/RadioRe: West African Idols: Season 1 (2007) by bagoma(f): 10:31pm On May 01, 2007
really its become a show of shame.
i mean, what is temitayo still doing there?
even jerrilyn was better than her on the night.
she was even rattled, not even mentioned as bottom 3? unbelievable!
the girl messed up the song and still is confident of winning. she knows what she has backing her up and we know its definetely not her voice or her ability to sing regardless.
omawunmi did great on the night. onyeka must've been very proud. the star performance of the night, surely.
timi certainly is ingeneous, the way he turned his predicament around was simply amazing. he certainly saved himself from disaster!
jerrilyn tried, i was surprised she could sing that well. she looked a bit unsure of herself, i think all the critisism is finally getting to her and she really has lost belief in herself.
this is not to say that she deserves to be where she is, but if judging from the night's performance she did far better than temitayo. i'm begining to think she is a better singer too!
jodie leaving is still a shock!!! shocked shocked
she's a great lady. was able to sing though her heart must have been breaking. thumbs up for her. what a lady!
with the way the show is going, i'm convinced we will end up with either temitayo and jerrilyn for the final
omawunmi or eric is certainly on their way home next.
west african idols. what a show? what disaster!! what enbarrassment!!! lipsrsealed huh angry sad
Music/RadioRe: West African Idols: Season 1 (2007) by bagoma(f): 10:09pm On Apr 24, 2007
@ lawyerchap,
i agree with u totally. great analysis. 2 thumbs up.
and NO, i dont think jodie is very attractive, but thank God its mostly a singing competition (or so we were meant to believe) cheesy cheesy

@ suthu,
i dont agree that timi cant express himself properly, its just his voice. what you choose to see as low self esteem, i see as humility and it works for me. His looks and speaking voice aint all that for me but he more than makes up for it when he performs/sings.
those that must not win the competition is as follows;
jerrilyn
temitayo
omawunmi
exactly in that order.

hi kit, long time.
Music/RadioRe: West African Idols: Season 1 (2007) by bagoma(f): 9:44pm On Apr 23, 2007
i've given up on the fact that jerrilyn will leave the show anytime soon. its not gonna happen, so i better take my mind off that.
the rest of africa i think is voting for her though its glaring that she shouldnt even have been in the top 10. what can anyone do? sh!t happens!

i wasnt surprised it was mercy, somehow i knew it'd be her after it was down to the three of them; eric, omawunmi and mercy.
temitayo isnt such a great singer for me.
jodie's voice isnt that great but she really can sing/perform.
timi has picked up these past 2 weeks. and with the way he's going he just might win.
i predict the last 3 will be jodie, timi and jerrilyn(though for me that will be a living nightmare)

RomanceRe: My Boyfriend Has Been Acting Differently Despite My Complaints by bagoma(f): 5:10pm On Apr 22, 2007
@ cute-ass,
hmmn, you've got a point and i agree with most of what you've said but i just want to chip this in.
i would think that if a guy truly loves a girl then he should make out time for her!

I spoke with him about the issue, he kept saying wahala oh!!!!!!, that i'm taking things out of hand. he said that i should stop worrying my head that there is no problem.
she has said that he thinks she is complaining for nothing which i interprete to mean, he doesnt see anything wrong with his behaviour. he is not feeling her.

Then he said that i'm the solution not the problem. I do not know what that means.
if he is under some kind of problems he needs to let her in on it. she aught to be his friend too not just a lover and that means they aught to connect nearly on all fronts. she should be hi listening ear, confidant etc. if not then he's probably not the one for the big M word.

@ uyai,
going back to your ex isnt the best thing at this point. you might want to remember why you left him in the first place, for yourself or for your family(mind you, they are important).
dont feel pressured about age, 25 is still very young. you still got all the time in the world to find the perfect guy.
give this present relationship a bit more time and see what happens, if he still doesnt understand your concerns/complains, then you should take a break and rethink.
all the best.
