as i said before, akatas are racist. By the Gods, they are even racist against themsefs and keep using n- word in their useless rap e songs. not to mention all their pan-black , black-jesus, black egypt, blac black black movement. and then they try to pull us Africans into it! that was why i created this thread in the first place. we Africans must distance ourselves from the racist mentality of akatas and westerners.

you can put anything in front of that ism, hate is hate whether you call it racism, tribalism I don't care it's still hating someone for who they are and it's wrong. I understand too that polygamy might solve some social problems but as a Woman,I am allowed Islamically to not want 2 be a part of it and that I am going 2 use to my advantage.

I come from a country with over 80% muslims but we don't have the problem nigeria has could it be something else other than religion? but no you don't want to deal with your problems you'd rather look for some more tensions to make things worse than they are.

Not really his advice is based on human courtesy you don't have to be a muslim to know you are being mean and spitful even non religious people know that these people who comment for the sake of it know they can't talk to their interactions outside the net like this so why should they do it behind a computer? My grandma used to say if you are above 5 years old you should not say whatever crosses your mind before you think it through especially if it's not a nice thing. I know for a fact these trolls are above 5 so they should know better.

Its all those thinking that is now occupying my mind, even though I am not in hurry of getting married for now but someone need to start thinking about the future as time wait for no one, as people keep reminding me of my Birthday in 2 days time in my office, the more concern about the future engrave my mind. But I surely believe Almighty Allah will grant me my heart desire and wishes.

To my Muslim brothers and sisters in Islam, I believe if we truly follow the teaching of Islam in which we claim we practice, we will surely become the best mankind on earth. Islam is already a complete and perfect religion is we (Muslims) that need to really work on our behaviour and attitude. We should try as much as possible to be a good example to other mankind. I cried inside sometimes when I see the behaviour some Muslims showcase in the society especially Muslimah (Muslim woman), some of such behaviour are not worth living with. The earlier we trace our step back to Almighty Allah the better for us.

this is a good post but you need to be specific. Like what are the characteristics that turn you off of muslim girls. give some examples you may get some advices from the sisters here. I have not courted a man in my life (I married the first guy that asked he's a childhood friend.....) but have been around my friends one thing that turns most muslim girls I know is the lack of respect most men display when they meet you the first time. Give examples may be I can help.

LOLOOLLLLL you are funny Well people where I come from do practice polygamy, but it's a dying practice especially among young men and women. Here is my philosophy I don't want a sister wife, nor will I help any man get one you know what they say treat others like you would like to be treated.
My own brother ask me to help him marry my best friend as a second wife I refused and made sure my friend says no too because I love my sister in law she is sweet, polite, kind and she loves and respects my brother a lot. she does not deserve a sister wife. I know it's halaal for muslim brothers to marry up to 4 wives but they always forget the conditions attached to this rule. So my brother sorry I don't help in matters like this one next question.............lol

I think what I wanted to say has been said by almost everyone who posted so far. This is a test of his faith he should consider that before he does anything.
Let him look for something to do no matter how minial, shining shoes, cleaning houses, offices or washing cars. there is nothing as a degrading job as long as it helps keep your dignity. This is really sad some how I wish him luck and may Allah helps him get what he seeks without him resorting to crimes.

nice tips. I'll add to these don't underestimate them have conversation with them you will be suprise how much both you and your child will learn from each other. I have gotten great ideas such as toys time, chores sharing... from my six year old. sometimes they teach you a lot without you even realising it
