I watched ep 29, so the king don run mad suit him wella.
There are a lot of emotional scenes in dis episode, the king is the worst king ever and did jeaunk ha's mother finally died or just unconscious? Tsk tsk poor her, hating on servants and lowly born even to the end, she yapped nonsense about spending her whole life supporting her son only to ended up a servant.story for gods.
I don't get why a fellow human being should become a rag for them to step on.
The hong brothers are the best..

I think I was much more happy with how Jeong Hak and his mother ended up than I was with the King and Noksoo. Cos while I kinda knew how the King and Noksoo will end up, I couldn't predict Jeong Hak and mummy Hak's ending.
It was pretty gratifying to see them end up as the servants they spent their entire lives hating, no other end could have been better.

I like how the bad guys King, Noksoo, scholar Song et al were unrepentant till the end. It would have been out of character if any of them had any sudden bout of repentance in the end.

And I'm happy none of the Hong brothers died in battle. I couldn't have asked for anything more, just keep the brothers safe. Thanks, writernim.

I kinda wish Gil Dong introduced his wife to his brother and sister specially, but anyhow, maybe the director of the drama was conserving screentime.

@bolded, I don't know why this made me laugh so much. Mori got a family and a sister! Yippeee!!!!! Even though the sister was pretty much wasted in the drama.

Mori is just a sad case, honestly. The bad guys he's working with look down on him and don't appreciate his efforts. Yet he won't join hands with the Hong brothers and fight for the good of the people.

I dunno what's his problem, or is it cos he has a crush on Gil Dong's wife?

For real, the actor killed the role. The last drama I saw him, he was the funny best friend of the male lead. I was surprised to see him so villainous here.

BTW, if you like high school dramas you can watch Sassy go go. He played a nice teacher there and funny enough the actress playing Garyung was one of his students. She was not a nice character there.

King Yeonsangun is known as the worst king in Joseon history. He was overthrown in a coup and exiled where he died after a few weeks.
So, his days are numbered in this drama too. Woman wrapper oshi.

According to history, Sukyong Jang was beheaded after the king was overthrown. I'm pretty sure she's gonna die in this drama too cos apart from the fictional Hong Gil Dong arc, they are following history.

That Sukyong woman has joined bad gang!
All my empathy for her disappeared after she gave Garyung up to be used as bait. She's such a jealous and horrible person.

It was fun watching the king go crazy after his plans failed one by one. When he had to run away in a peasant disguise I was like see his life in public

Mama-nim the writer shouldnt forget to kill her and her son too, they are wasting Joseon oxygen.

I take what i said earlier on back. I dont want Mori to die.

Its my fav eps in the drama. Twas as if i was there with them on the battle ground, I was feeling all the emotions with them.

I saw it at midnight.

There were many scenes I loved in this eps, but none can top the happiness I felt when prince choongwon died. I was so happy ehn.
