Waoh!! Congrats bro! I tap into your celebration. Mehn, it's not easy. I actually remember your active participation on Maximus17 thread for intending ACA's and I observed you went AWOL for a while, even hided under a bunk, yet again, when asked of your qualification status! Nice you've finally achieved your dream! Well, what doesn't kill one will definitely makes one stronger. To us all still in the race, I wish us best of God.
Congrats once again, bro! |

jollymizzle:
this old man sef, clearly APC is falling apart. These quotes say it all.,"we will loose some members" "there is no PDP" "no serious campaign" so in essence buhari is all that matters in APC. All those who came together to support his campaign in the party are inconsequential. Imagine the party chairman saying all these? Despite the fact that he can't even win his own ward. Another party is definitely coming before 2019. It is clear this man is the cause of the division within the APC and unfortunately buhari has decided to pitch his tent with him even though I can't think of a contribution he made to his emergence as president. APC is definitely going down You took this right from my mouth! This man sure behaves like a rookie in the game of politics |

bigthingz: Good morning house. Pls I need an urgent advice. Am unable to do my registration yestaday. After making payment for exam yestaday ,I was given a printed copy containing my name ,reg number receipt number etc. I logged in to register but the pin generated on the slip given to me in the bank was for atswa not proffesionals exam. I went to Ican office in abuja I was told to scan my printout and teller and send to phd@ican.ng.com. which I did. Av not heared from anyone yet. And the closing date was yestaday. Am so sick to my stomach right now.and there's no number to call Ican. Pls what should I do. I have sacrifice a lot to writing this diet, pls help This is a big stuff indeed. You've done the needful by going headlong to ICAN office, and doing what's directed. I'll urge you to constantly liaise with the personel you met at the office till you get the issue resolved. It ain't too much going to the office every day to achieve this goal. And you need to relax about the deadline thingy. They(ICAN) know how to sort that out! |

jaygeek: is the state of oau hostel still bad....what I saw on internet makes it seems lyk hell Lol.. from the feelers around, I heard there's been an overhaul of the hostel facilities. Besides, hostels' condition should be the least of your worries. Their are good hostels apart from those widely reported in the media. You could even opt to secure accommodation in town(i.e. off campus). It depends on choice. |

Contact17: Generally do they require A2 or can a person apply with AS? I'm not well versed in A levels grading thingy. I have asked a friend sha. But if by A2 you mean at least 2 'A' level papers, and of course credit passes, I think it's the most sought after. |
Education › Re: How To Apply For OBAFEMI AWOLOWO UNIVERSITY Direct Entry by Bakare19: 5:08am On Aug 21, 2016 |
Contact17: Can someone with A levels apply for direct entry? Very much. However, you need to be sure the institution offers the intended course of study and welcome students from the relevant A levels prog. Jamb brochure comes handy here. I've got friends with A levels who entered, and have now finished their program sef. |

kolawaxxy: I saw this on oaupeeps, ..don't know how true it is
Graduating students of Obafemi Awolowo University – those that completed their studies during the 2014/2015 session are required to validate their JAMB registration number.
According to our impeccable sources at the Division of Student Affairs (DSA), those that were admitted through the Predegree programme or Direct Entry are required to put down their details at the DSA office. The details collected from those affected include their name, JAMB registration number, Date of Birth and Matric number.
The facility to validate the JAMB registration number was said to be available on JAMB website, but a check by OAU Peeps News Agency correspondents shows that it is defunct. None of the affected students have been able to do the validation themselves. As at Wednesday, August 17, many of the graduating students were at the DSA office for the purpose and those that are far away from Ife were able to still put down their details by proxy.
On whether or not those that finished last session will be mobilized in the Batch B likely for this November; there are strong indications that some graduating students will be mobilized as our source confirmed that the Division is already on the list submitted by departments that are ready.
As of now, the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) is yet to release an official time-table for the 2016 Batch B Youth Service. From the scoop I have, people have already started trooping in and doing the reg. And like the release says, it specifically targets the DE and those who came in through pre degree. This is a normal phase of mobilization procedures as I've personally assisted some set of those students filled their details in absentia, in the past. |
