Following the delay in the payment of October stipend to volunteers till now, many hypothetical reasons had been given why it has not been paid. Some linked the delay to the fact that the new ministry which now supersedes N-Power needs time to stabilize. But none of the various reasons was valid and true.
Something, however, came up today to expose the whole thing. The delay, as discovered by SchoolUpdate, is as a result of the ongoing investigation into the alleged arbitrariness and gross misconducts leveled against the management of the programme by the House of Representatives member from Osun State, Hon. Taiwo Oluga. The committee which was mandated to carry out the investigation was given three weeks for that assignment. until that is concluded,payment may not take place. Get more details at
