You have a huge point. I think it is a societal thing, people that we considered to be not-to-do-well, dropouts, hooligans, vagabonds, igbo-smokers e.t.c some years back are actually the ones we call celebrity today.

Ayajmaster01:

No no, the bold line is not for you, just talking in general. This Alibaba of a thing, if he want to do a show, they will be saying Table of 10 is 100k, table of five is there also for 250k, vip dey, vvip too dey. Did they think everyone na Alinko Dangote or Otedola? Or na teacher dey con watch their show? Why aren't they screening the people watching their shows and ask which work they do before they raised the money they are using to pay for ticket, I think with that we will know he is really true with his point
Celebrities / Re: Ali Baba Sends Another Warning To Yahoo Yahoo Boyz by Bakeroy: 11:17am On May 02, 2019
I hope the bolded line is not for me. I understand the level of frustration in the Country, but we should still be polite when making our points.

Ayajmaster01:

Daydreaming, maybe because he had about a country where a comedian became president so he is putting more effort to be relevant. Why this idiot didn't find out what really makes Yahoo to be rampant, Yahoo has started since way back but it's not rampant like it is nowadays, what makes it rampant? Unemployment, did we even know how many corper is going for service each year? Did we know how many graduate Nigeria is producing every year? Not to talk of people their parent doesn't have the capacity to send them to school. Will everybody have the opportunity to to have capital to start a business? Where is the co-operative Bank to help citizen in establishing with capital? Those of you that said you are abroad today and criticizing, how did you get abroad? With your father's money or what? What's your father doing for a living, politician who is defrauding us here or lecturer who collected bribe to pass student. Get sense because the main problem is not Yahoo Yahoo. The problem is the whole country and even Alibaba

Politics / Re: Rejection Of Forensic Audit Bill Is A Victory For Professionalism, Says ICAN by Bakeroy: 9:13pm On Apr 20, 2019
I do not know of part of greed and money, my point is that it is a good thing for Accounting as a profession. The Accounting profession is not like Medicine. Accounting is practised in every field, the more of other professionals become an Accountant the richer in knowledge Accounting becomes. For instance, if any of our Musician or Actor(ess) becomes a Chartered Accountant, we will have a better insight into the accounting of that sector.

asuustrike1:

If that is the case they should stop awarding degree in accounting since it makes no sense allowing flexibility. For you to be called a doctor you must have the basic knowledge of science before proceeding to the medical school, then you write various qualifying exams. And to those saying it took them 20 years to be chartered, it rare to see such in the medical profession. The truth is that it became flexible because of greed for money nothing more nothing less

Agreed.

OBAGADAFFI:

But Banker can be Chartered accountants, and accountants can be Chartered bankers.

Lot of Bankers actually studied accounting.
Politics / Re: Rejection Of Forensic Audit Bill Is A Victory For Professionalism, Says ICAN by Bakeroy: 8:43pm On Apr 20, 2019
This was given as an illustration to buttress my point that giving people irrespective of who they are the opportunity to study, pass, work and become an Accountant is a strength and a plus for ICAN.

Note that before you can be called a Chartered Accountant, you must have studied and passed the examination of different stages which can take a minimum of 2 years and an average of 5 years to complete, you must have worked under a Chartered Accountant for 3 years and certified okay.

asuustrike1:

Am talking of medicine not law.
Politics / Re: Rejection Of Forensic Audit Bill Is A Victory For Professionalism, Says ICAN by Bakeroy: 8:02pm On Apr 20, 2019
Studying accounting in school does not make you an Accountant, and Bankers are not Accountants, it is a different profession from Accounting, that is why you have Banking and Finance in Schools.

OBAGADAFFI:

Banking, Finance and accounting has multiple specializations.

ICAN didn't cover all the nitty-gritty of Banking/Finance

For example most Banker are accountants but they must have CIBN to work on the Banking sector.

Same applies to Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers.

Politics / Re: Rejection Of Forensic Audit Bill Is A Victory For Professionalism, Says ICAN by Bakeroy: 6:58pm On Apr 20, 2019
Oga this is not the truth. After God, I am where I am today because of the ICAN Certificate, in less than five years after qualification, my monthly worth moves from N50K per month by about 500% per month. The certificate has given me more than I have given it.

Jofet:
This is the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth.

There are a lot of Chartered Accountant who after qualification studied Law, and vice verse, this is not a weakness but strength.

asuustrike1:

Of course I know what am saying Mr Seun. It is easier in ICAN than NMA
Celebrities / Re: Davido Excited As His Producer Kiddominant Is Listed Among Producers For Beyonce by Bakeroy: 8:05am On Apr 18, 2019
To me, you are the one that is childish Sir. Beyonce is not white, she is an international superstar, considering how our music got started, things like this is worth celebrating. Maybe you did not know, there was a time in Nigeria where 80% of the music played in our radio stations were foreign now it is the opposite so like them celebrate.

Nigerians should not take this allegation for granted, the CUPP has actually be saying things that became true. This can actually happen. I dreamt on something close to this. I dreamt that the election result was adjusted, and there was disagreement in the top, and I saw the military all over taking charge. Though this could just be propaganda and my dream a mere one.

Do not celebrate yet.

I see inconclusive result,

I see Buhari with more votes,

I see the number of cancelled vote more than the difference between the 2 party's vote.

I see disagreement.
