You have a huge point. I think it is a societal thing, people that we considered to be not-to-do-well, dropouts, hooligans, vagabonds, igbo-smokers e.t.c some years back are actually the ones we call celebrity today. Ayajmaster01: |

I hope the bolded line is not for me. I understand the level of frustration in the Country, but we should still be polite when making our points. Ayajmaster01: |

Politics / Re: Rejection Of Forensic Audit Bill Is A Victory For Professionalism, Says ICAN by Bakeroy: 9:13pm On Apr 20, 2019 |
I do not know of part of greed and money, my point is that it is a good thing for Accounting as a profession. The Accounting profession is not like Medicine. Accounting is practised in every field, the more of other professionals become an Accountant the richer in knowledge Accounting becomes. For instance, if any of our Musician or Actor(ess) becomes a Chartered Accountant, we will have a better insight into the accounting of that sector. asuustrike1: 1 Like |

This was given as an illustration to buttress my point that giving people irrespective of who they are the opportunity to study, pass, work and become an Accountant is a strength and a plus for ICAN. Note that before you can be called a Chartered Accountant, you must have studied and passed the examination of different stages which can take a minimum of 2 years and an average of 5 years to complete, you must have worked under a Chartered Accountant for 3 years and certified okay. asuustrike1: |

Studying accounting in school does not make you an Accountant, and Bankers are not Accountants, it is a different profession from Accounting, that is why you have Banking and Finance in Schools. OBAGADAFFI: |

Oga this is not the truth. After God, I am where I am today because of the ICAN Certificate, in less than five years after qualification, my monthly worth moves from N50K per month by about 500% per month. The certificate has given me more than I have given it. Jofet: 1 Like 1 Share |

There are a lot of Chartered Accountant who after qualification studied Law, and vice verse, this is not a weakness but strength. asuustrike1: |

To me, you are the one that is childish Sir. Beyonce is not white, she is an international superstar, considering how our music got started, things like this is worth celebrating. Maybe you did not know, there was a time in Nigeria where 80% of the music played in our radio stations were foreign now it is the opposite so like them celebrate. kclem: 3 Likes |

Politics / Re: Burutai Is Planning On Becoming A Military Head Of State- CUPP by Bakeroy: 10:55am On Mar 12, 2019 |
Nigerians should not take this allegation for granted, the CUPP has actually be saying things that became true. This can actually happen. I dreamt on something close to this. I dreamt that the election result was adjusted, and there was disagreement in the top, and I saw the military all over taking charge. Though this could just be propaganda and my dream a mere one. 7 Likes 1 Share |
