Like someone said,I hope we're not back to Yar Adua days We are all afried of PDP 's rat or mosquito poison. baby124: He should take it easy and be careful. Many agents of the devil in this country that want things to remain the same. They profit from evil and sufferiuung of the masses. Even this inauguration extrvaganza, I don't trust it. People are desperate and afraid. I feel the handover should be quiet, so we can all move on to serious issues. PDP was a nest of killers since its inception. Not much has changed |

ramdris: Reading this piece brought tears to my eyes **clears nostril with handkerchief**.
I have always and will always be a firm believer in our unity. Those that are clamoring for secession have the right to do so but am 100% certain we better off together. Over the years and even in recent times, we have been having communal fights among ethnic groups in the same region. We have had Ijaw-Itshekiri, Aguleri-Umuleri, Ife-Modakeke, Tiv-Jukun and so many too numerous to count. Now the question is this: Will all these tribes also ask for division when each region is finally on their own or what assurance can we give that secession will not bring about future agitation by other minority tribes in each region?.
I am fully in support of Bruce's opinion on this. He is fast earning my affection for He seems to always have the right idea (unless of course the electric car issue. Lolz) about our challenges. I really wish for many more like him and GMB in the helm of our affairs in this great nation of great people. God bless Nigeria! You forgot that you are first to comment, congrats. I tell you every one hundred kilometres of our nation space has huge potentials for conflicts. In some parts of Nigeria the land mass suggest 25 kilometres. |

The judge will be foolish to grant such a relief without a determination of a substantive issue of law. Stop thinking in the PDP era. The NJC will be watching him, GEJ is useless to the judge after may 27 in this matter. A petition listing all the facts that you have mentioned including phone conversations, bank deposits, properties acquired and holidays spent will finds it way to the NJC. Google or bing Otunba Kalejiaye SAN to know how far with such trash. This is the change era, shitts have limits. akeweje: Guys, you all need to understand that senators are not covered by immunity neither does NDLEA needs a warrant to arrest someone if there's a probable cause to do so. What Kashamu Buruju is waiting for is Wednesday, 27th. He has instituted a case seeking a PERPETUAL INJUNCTION from prosecution and he's most likely to get a favorable judgement because he's alleged in political circle to have that same judge in his pocket, on his payroll. Curiously, all the cases he filed in the past have been assigned to the same judge and he has always got favorable judgements. NDLEA and his political traducers are aware of this and that's why they'll stop at anything to ship him to U. S before Wednesday. On the other hand, if he gets that judgement on Wednesday, he can never be tried again in Nigeria or extradited till he dies!. He has planned to get the judgement before May 29th when GEJ is still in power. So, it'll get more interesting between now and Wednesday as OBJ and others have the last chance to ship Kashamu Buruji to the U. S failure of which he will legally walk freely for life. They all know the game they are playing very well and someone must win!. If you ask him if it's possible to get perpetual injunction in Nigeria, Peter Odili is enjoying it and he can never be tried for corruption/embezzlement that allegedly happened under his watch as governor even if his well-known enemy becomes Nigeria President. |

Summary and conclusion Kachisbarbie: That was how Lagos started. They didn't just jump to 250-300N a litre. It increased in an arithmetic progression We are getting there too. If it continues, we would soon start sleeping in a queue or buying from blackmarket Na small-small nna. I still maintain it's scarce. The highest one pays in the north is 120. Some stingy or poor people would wait on a queque that sells for 87 and make the queque longer. The trend is not good for the east, west north or south and reasonable citizen ought not be proud of what is happening. |
